worst tanning bed i have ever been a member of. overpriced, rude, and poorly run. they have a monopoly so they basically get away with murder.. take your money literallyyyy ANYWHERE else. *just to clarify i love solar dimensions but as soon as they were bought by PB i decided to cancel bc i have refused to deal with them ever again. before i was made aware of the change (no one notified me that my membership would be changing) they double charged me for the month of feb and told me i could take it up with corporate. complete bs.

My friends I take here tell me it's great. No firsthand experience. Good location, albeit perhaps somewhat unexpected.

Staff is rude

I have to echo the comments left below by another palm beach member. I showed up to their other location to find it closed and then I drove to Buckhead to find that location closed as well. There was no notice whatsoever to their long time members that they were moving. The Solar Dimensions locations they took over have old, dirty equipment and spaces. The location in midtown feels a lot more dangerous at night. I was surrounded by several bums walking into the salon tonight. Like the the person below, I will give it a little time, but if they don’t move their nicer equipment and feel to these locations I will be canceling as well.

Great place. Clean. Great beds. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Never a long wait for a tanning bed. I don't spray tan but seems like it's popular there. It's expensive in my opinion. But competitive with similar tanning salons. So I guess that's what it costs. They do email/text weekly, daily and month long promotions that can get you an upgrade or an extra service for a good deal and sometimes free.

The air conditioning in the diamond/platinum package isn’t working and they don’t seem to be in any hurry to fix it. I’ve spoken to them multiple times about it. Makes for a very uncomfortable 10 minutes. That bed is why I go there for the last 5 years.

The staff is friendly and helpful; the facilities and tanning beds are clear and well maintained; and the hours are convenient.

Don’t go all about money no care about people . You can get a tan anywhere why spend with someone who has no concern for anything that’s not paper.

I have been coming to this location for YEARS and now since they have hired new people I have been getting very RUDE service. Emily is the manager and she was soooooo Extremely rude to me about my account because of a mistake they made on there end, when they froze my account they did not down grade me so when I unfroze I was charged a Excessive amount when I clearly stated they I wouldn’t be tanning Anymore because of the UVB rays and learning more about them. Which when she froze my account she left me at a diamond when I clearly stated that I would try the spray tan and if it didn’t work then I would cancel completely .... I wanted to unfreeze and they still charged me a price for the Tanning bed diamond member ship which is outrageous to me as a customer who has spent thousands of dollars at this location for them NOT to Correct THERE Error. Emily Clearly heard me state I would Never use the tanning beds again and now after speaking with her Today she refuses to make things right ... So my hand is forced to leave this review because I’m just surprised that I would receive this type of service after spending several thousand dollars here. Will Never return or spend $$$ Here EVER again in my Life.

These guys are the best. The staff is always upbeat and friendly, I love them all. It's clean, relaxing, and a great place to unwind after a long day. I'm so glad I know these people.

I am in love with the staff here. They are such fun people. I was never into tanning. I even made fun of it. I was waiting on a friend 2 separate times. After the 3rd time I ended up getting the diamond membership and I'm in there 3 times a week. The location, the staff, and the beds changed my outlook on tanning.

You guys need to do better. It’s been almost 2 months since I’ve mentioned to multiple associates that the Monterey spray for the Versa machine has not been spraying at all. All assured me it was working prior to me wasting my time. No quality checks or assurance? Now you are out of catalina spray too? Disappointed and underwhelmed

The store manager is amazing. She is kind, knowledgeable, walks you through steps, suggest items to help your tan based on your skin tone. Prices could be better. Products should come with bag holders that are not cheap advertising for the store. Especially when you pay 100.00$ plus. It's always clean. One thing is the staff needs to exemplify how the store manager is when she is not in the store. They seem to busy to help when your the only customer in the store. But I would recommend it.

Gah! I forgot the name of the employee that helped me! But she was great! Even though I had to upgrade to get the bed I wanted, she sold me on getting the full package! Sunless and UV tanning! She was adorable and knew her stuff! She also recommended the PERFECT spray tan for me! This review will prolly be kinda weird since I got the unlimited everything, diamond, membership and will see her again soon! But I had to give a shout out! Highly recommended!

I have had a horrible experience with this place. Not only we’re they unclear with all of their rules from the start but the staff is very condescending when you are unaware and not willing to help at all. Hated every experience I had definitely DO NOT recommend.

This place was excellent I was just coming in on a beautiful afternoon and both girls had their welcoming smiles! So, I’m talking to them about what their opinions are on red light therapy. Then, my boyfriend comes in not knowing I was there! I found out he’s been taking out trash there for the girls aww so sweet but weird because I usually go to the salon in Buckhead, and he never told me about this “closer “ one! It’s been crazy since then and I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life, there’s a lot more to this story but It’s just too much! So yeah the place is like family and I enjoyed my time while it lasted! I hope you know I’m not going to be back bc I don’t want to see him anymore! Weird

Was going to check it out but all the parking spots were full, its a high traffic area.

Everyone at the Midtown location is extremely friendly and always very informative when there are specials going on. I am very happy with the atmosphere and service I get every time I come in. The establishment is always clean and I never wait to be greeted or asked how they can help!

I've had an excellent experience with Palm Beach Tan. The only issue I've ever had is not being allowed to pay my membership in cash ahead of time like I was originally told I would be able to when I signed up at the Midtown location. Recently I've been using the Collier Road location and I absolutely love the environment. The tanning consultants are very knowledgeable. Alexis has helped me on numerous occassions explaining to me the difference in the products, the UVA and UVB Ray's, and the importance of switching up beds. Aswell, Michaela is fantastic at choosing colors for a flawless spray tan. I had a major event to attend and was terrified of streaks or being orange... but she knew exactly what she was doing and my tan couldn't have been more perfect. (She was also very patient with me during my indecisiveness. lol) I definitely recommend giving them a try.
