Just visited yesterday (7/26/2020), and they weren't busy at all. We ordered an appetizer before we ever placed our dinner order, and then we ordered 2 salads for dinner. One salad came out within 5 minutes or so, then the appetizer followed approximately 15 minutes later, then the other salad came our 5-10 minutes later. When the first salad came so quickly, we inquired about the appetizer and the other salad, and the server just said that the appetizer would take a while. We had hoped to eat our dinner salads together, but my friend let her salad sit there until mine came. As I previously mentioned, it wasn't busy, and our server didn't have a lot of tables, so I see no reason that more attention couldn't have been paid to the order in which the food came out. It would've been nice for her to let us know that the appetizer may take a while, and maybe ask if we wanted our salad to come out after we got our appetizer, or if we were fine with them coming out before. And it definitely would've been nice for our entrees to at least be served at the same time so that one of us didn't have to wait 15-20 minutes to even start eating her salad.

This is the second time I’ve ordered Online or by phone and they lost the order. The first time I paid by credit card online with a receipt and they still didn’t have it and this time I called in the order and their excuse for losing it was our call was cutoff and they assume I didn’t want it - that is absolute and total BS! Strike one, strike two - Brookhaven MM you won’t get a chance at the third. I don t have this problem at the Lavista Rd location.

I ordered from doordash and had to come here to leave this review. Ya'll absolutely KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. This is the best pizza I've ever had from mellow mushroom and they've all been excellent. I'll 10/10 order it again and thank ya'll for being amazing! ❤ I got the Pacific Rim, Extra bacon, Extra ham.

Love this pizza. Disappointed to order online and have to wait indoors along several folks not wearing masks (employees included).

Let me start by saying I love Mellow Mushroom, but this location needs a deep clean. There were 5 of us and we sat in a booth, everything was normal until a cockroach starting crawling behind one of my family members. The waitress also saw it and did her best to apologize. Prior to sitting at the table, noticed the seats and table were both dirty. Take some pride and clean your establishment, especially when you see employees standing around together. Manager has to do a better job. Hope is gets better, because MM is a good fun place

I visited this location and was disappointed in how long we waited to be served. Most of our party was given drinks and then no one came. We approached a female manager at 4:35 on Sunday July 11,2021. The waitress, we were told would serve us said she didn’t know we were in her section and hadn’t planned on serving us. A young man named Santiago came in during conversation and volunteered to serve us. He was very pleasant and warm. I am bothered by this because I patronize mellow mushroom wherever I go. I am from North Carolina and was visiting Atlanta with family and I suggested Mellow Mushroom because I always get excellent service. I ask in the future that staff is more professional when addressing patrons.

Good pizza, but the management is absolutely terrible at this location. I have had to wait 30+ minutes upon arrival three out of the last ten times I have placed carry out or curbside orders here. I’m not sure if this location is understaffed or what, but I never once had to wait when ordering from the close by Lavista road location. I just don’t get why it is so hard to provide a somewhat accurate wait time, when their sister franchise location does it no problem.

So damn good, I had to review from my other account.. Definitely a go-to. I passed 2 other locations to come to this one and I'm definitely satisfied with my choice. I will be back for seconds and thirds! ❤️

WORST MANAGEMENT!!! So let’s start off with the good, my food was great but other things make this place HORRIBLE! Then at arrival they said they had no crayons for kids because of Hurricane Ian but other things tell me not to believe that. The last person to eat wasn’t me but they had to get it to-go because while we were waiting they LIED TWICE, they first said the oven was broken which it wasn’t and then they said they took it to another table. (Yet another lie) Finally the manager was supposed to come but she never did. Some of the workers are very nice like this one guy. (Don’t know his name) But some of the others are very rude. In the end they didn’t even take the very delayed food off the bill because that manager never came and we just said forget it, it wasn’t worth waiting 2 more hours.

Had the best experience doing curbside pickup here! At first I called to order because the website didn’t have an option I wanted when ordering online, but since you have to order online to do curbside, Tylan…I think that’s how it’s spelled, he told me to go ahead and place the order online and he’d take care of my special request. (I had my dogs with me, so I had to do curbside.) He brought my order out very quickly when I got there and the food was so freaking delicious! Everyone was very happy with their meals. Thanks so much for the excellent service and very tasty Italian sandwiches!

The mushroom pizza is DELICIOUS!! I also got the cheese sticks. The pizza holds up great as take out. I did have to reheat the cheese sticks, but they were delicious as well, so it was worth it! The restaurant is really big with plenty of seating. The entrance is a bit confusing, since it faces another building (and construction in the area makes it harder to figure out). There’s lots of parking available though.

So we ordered a pizza and wings. We are at the hospital and hadn’t eaten anything good in a couple days. My daughter normally gets pizza from here so we figured this was a good option. We get the order and she opens the pizza and there’s mushrooms on there. She doesn’t eat mushrooms, ever. Then my son in law and I got 20 wings to split. 10 mild and 10 spicy. Neither were spicy and they all were burned and soggy. It was disgusting.

I have to tell you about my experience at this mellow mushroom, when I tell you their customer service is top-notch when you deal with the management staff there you feel like you are the most important customer that they are dealing with. They make you feel like a shareholder. I ordered pizza from them on Super Bowl Sunday and they made my experience just as super. I ordered a pie with a plethora of complex ingredients. They repeatedly altered or remade my pie for me to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it and on top of that I was able to get home to enjoy the game with my family on time.

Generally have a great experience here. This time the pizza came out a bit more greasy than previous experiences. The cheesy bread was excellent! The service is alway solid. Great place for families!

This is a 2-star rating not because of the quality of my order but what I perceived as deception during my evening visit on 03/09/2023. Upon waiting for my order to be made a male which I will not describe asked if I wanted to pay for my order. The male cashier added a 20% tip to my tab which I changed to what I wanted to tip. To my surprise a customer that was also waiting for her order stated that the same cashier did that to her but she did not notice until her ordered was paid. Unfortunately, this is not a business builder for cashiers to partake in adding tips to customers tabs. A tip should not be EXPECTED if a customer is not being served at a table or if M.M employees are not taking curbside orders out to a customer. I physically walked into the restaurant to pick up my order so therefore a tip should not necessarily be expected. I have been a customer to this M.M for years and have always tipped in the past on my own even though additional services were not rendered. PLEASE M.M. Managers read this review to all of your employees. You have many supporters of your restaurant that also work for their money to support this business. Taking advantage of your customers in this manner in unacceptable and very deceptive especially for a CARRY-OUT order. This review should be a 1-star but I added an additional star due to the great taste of your food. Hopefully this will not happen again to any more of your customers. Lastly, the male cashier that has been doing this to the customers should be reprimanded. I’m sure that this has been a pattern for him.

The food was great, but my online order took an extra 45 minutes to be completed after my arrival time. I understand that they had a busy evening, but the ordering system should really give accurate estimations. I honestly would have simply left and went somewhere else, but I had already paid online, so I was stuck.

I liked it overall. It's a fun place to have a drink.

Don't waste your time at Mellow Mushroom Brookhaven. After coming to this neighborhood spot consistently for over 2 years, my spouse and I will not be returning. This evening we waited over 20 minutes to get bar drinks (the dining room was not busy at all), watched our server walk past the drinks sitting at the bar multiple times, and then she was sitting down chatting with co-workers completely ignoring that she had tables to serve. We ultimately decided to leave and go to Fellini's. The service here has really gone downhill in the last year; this location should consider stopping dine-in and switch to takeout only as they can't seem to figure out how to serve dine-in customers in a timely manner.

Great place, kind of a hidden gem, Candace was very nice and pizza was excellent, don’t let the construction throw you off the business is open and busy busy, great people come see for yourself

We had a party of 12 and the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I haven’t eaten at mellow mushroom in a long time and I was very pleased with everything tonight. I will definitely go back.

Nicklaus was our server today and he was so on point with his customer service. He was very personable, suggested new pizzas, then offered to customize a pizza into a calzone when my friend couldn't decide. We eat out quite a bit and have to say that our server made the experience one that we will share and a reason we will come back to this location. Thank you Nicklaus.

First time at this mellow mushroom and the staff was great. The pizza was incredible the dough is the best!! Best peanut butter cookie I've had in a long time.

A great pizza parlor along with other selections. Adult beverages and great indoor and seating. Along with, enough children activities for adults to enjoy their meal.

Delicious pizza and wings. Lots of seating and friendly staff. We ordered lemon pepper and barbecue wings. We got the house special, pacific rim, and barbecue chicken pizza. It was more than enough. Crust tastes amazing!

So frustrated. Came here because they say they take care with gluten-free preparation and cross contamination. We sat down, group of ten, and ordered drinks. It is not busy, but it takes a while for the drinks to come and some waters are missing. We ordered food (about half of us) and waited over an hour for our food. The waitress brought out our first item (wings which were TINY.) and AT THIS POINT finally says that the kitchen *just* told her that they didn’t have any gluten-free crusts. Not when we ordered. AN HOUR LATER and as the rest of the food is coming out. So frustrated. It is now late and there are very few restaurants open and even fewer where our celiac friend can eat. Not a good look. The regular pizza was good, but that was not good service.

I was so awestruck being here. I completely forgot to take pictures of the great food. I mean, my server Alexia (spelling?) was AWESOME! She was on it! I didn't have to ask for much, but even when i did have a request, she was prompt, courteous, professional, anticipated our needs, and just overall amazing. It was my first dining experience here and I've been wanting to come here for YEARS. The pizza is affordable, great portions, and delicious. I mean, I'm from the Chicagoland area where pizza is predominant and I was impressed! Great flavors and unique combinations, a bigger menu than u anticipated (which I will return to try out). The drinks were a plus, although not a necessity for a good time.. it's just nice to have access to it if you're having an outgoing socially. Very spacious. CLEAN BATHROOMS. OK, I hope this helps someone. Oh, and DON'T feed the koi fish. They're gorgeous and healthy already. 😍

So here I am at Mellow Mushroom and there is no one at the host stand and we are just standing here idle for like 5 minutes. I attempted to make eye contact and wave down a waitress who promptly ignored me. Would not recommend, definitely lost at how this works for them as a business. But I am not surprised with this Brookhaven location.

I didn't start to eat at the restaurant, it is a big space. The food is always good in Mellow Mushroom. The service in this location was fantastic! They were fast, efficient, the servers were very welcoming and kind. I would recommend this place and next time we are close by we will go and eat there. Thanks for the great service guys!!

Can't go wrong with a pizza from Mellow Mushroom. This was my first time at this location and the customer service was great and my pizza was hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up. The inside seemed not to be too busy but had a steady crowd coming in as I was leaving. I will definitely make a trip back once it gets warm to sit outside and enjoy the patio area...

Visited here for lunch on a Monday and let me say a wonderful experience. The restaurant was clean top to bottom. Our server Madison was amazing! She madey daughters drink (Shirley temple) the exact way she liked and always checked on the table. As for the pizza, it was hot, the cheese was gooey and the crust was soft and delicious. Kudos to Chef Jay, we've been to many mellow mushrooms in GA but this was the best one so far! Give Madison and Jay a raise!

First time at this location. The mushroom soup was great and our sever Sydney took excellent care of us! Will be back

I actually wrote a detailed review here about the gift card we received that didn't have any money on it, the drive we had to make past several other closer locations to get it fixed, the manager's attempt to convert it to a "Brookhaven only" card, and the failure to fix the problem. We returned home with a different card that had no money on it either. I'm not sure why that review disappeared just like the money on the gift card, but writing to corporate has not yet produced a response. I'm not sure why they made us come into the store, all of it should have been electronically fixable. The pizza is good, but it sure left a sour taste in our mouths.

I was amazed by the customer service today. Yes we all want great food when we go to a restaurant. But the unspoken characteristic of a restaurant we desire is service. We can become repeat customers of a good plate but in my opinion, nothing can earn my loyalty like good service. And that is what I was reintroduced to tonight. I came in for a to go order and a fellow by the name of Todd greeted me almost immediately by putting his side work of sweeping the floor to the side. He literally used 3 different tablets to ensure I lost no time in picking up my order....just in case I was in a rush. But my intrigue came into play and asked if he was a manager of some sort. Only because my experience has shown me that those in that higher position care that much more. But no. He explained he was mostly in charge of to go orders. Can I say "wow"?? He opened up my pizza box to ensure it was correct. But he read that I wanted pesto base and saw pesto topping. Immediately offered a remake since he thought it was wrong. But it happened to be pesto base AS WELL as a pesto topping. But the extra desire to make sure I was happy with my order was astonishing. This made me feel like I was very much cared for and will ensure I would rather come to this location rather than others closer to me. Simply put....WILL COME AGAIN!

One of the BEST pizzas in town. Fresh ingredients. Sooo big..the large pizza will feed a small family seriously. I could only eat two slices and I was stuffed. We love everything about this place

Went to do a Trivia night and had a blast! The food was, as always, great. Pretzels, Pizza, and Beer are always a good Thursday night. The trivia was also fun. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy trivia night so it's not a big deal. Mellow Mushroom doesn't disappoint, always a great place for Pizza!

It's the best pizza I've found since living in Brookhaven. You can't beat the atmosphere either. Decent size bar with Golden Tee as well. If they had a pool table I'd be there every other day.

Manager Interfered With My Meal Purchase **Review:** I was recently at this restaurant and was very hungry. I didn't have any money on me, so I approached a couple on the patio and asked them if they would buy me some food. They said yes, and I went to my seat. A few minutes later, the manager came over to me and asked me to leave the restaurant. I asked her why, and he said that the couple had changed their minds about buying me food. I was confused, because I had already walked away from the couple when they said they would buy me food. I tried to talk to the couple to see what had happened, but the manager kept speaking over me and preventing me from talking to them. She eventually told me to leave the restaurant, and I had no choice but to go. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by the manager. I was just trying to get something to eat, and she made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I would not recommend it to anyone. **Additional Information:** * The date and time of my visit was 2023-06-26 at 12:30 PM. * The restaurant was not busy. * The manager name was Jennifer, a woman in her 30's with brown hair. * The couple I approached were a young man and woman in their early 40's. **Overall, I had a very negative experience at this restaurant. A staple for pizza, brews, salads and cocktails, the staff is courteous and the food is good.

Food good but service took legit 1 hour for two large pizzas to go. Workers with their earphones in kept telling me the pizzas “almost done” for 30 straight minutes. Terrible service but good pizza shout-out the chefs but the workers suck

There was a medical emergency with a staff member when we arrived. The staff was shaken by the event but was able to pull together with the help of the managers to continue to deliver good food and good service. I commend the managers and staff for their perseverance and professionalism, keeping customer service the priority.

Do not order from Mellow Mushroom. They don’t honor time for an online order and when I arrived they said it would be 11 more minutes 20 minutes after that they said the order was not yet in the oven. I waited 45 minutes in total. There was another customer who was having the same experience. I understand the business can get slammed, but they should not flat out lie right to my face. They could have been honest with me. Do not go to this location

I come into your location and the lady sitting guest is on her AirPods having a whole conversation. This wouldn’t have been a big deal if she didn’t react like I was interrupting her conversation as she ask how many. When I told her how many guest she looks at me and roll her eyes! I than proceed to tell her I was ok and left the establishment which ended up being a blessing. I than went to Atlanta bar and grill and had amazing service and great food in comparison to the trash service and average food I get at your location. I normally do not do google reviews but this is not the first or second bad experience I’ve had at your establishment! Please do not visit this restaurant! It’s the rest place in this area!

I rarely leave reviews, but our waiter tonight at Mellow Mushroom is probably the best waiter I have had in as long as I can remember. I believe his name is Curtis, tall guy. He was so friendly, accommodating, and attentive. He's awesome. Pizza was also really damn good.

Food was great. Service (Davis) was awesome.

No complaints...walked in order was ready. PIPING HOT.And perfection. When its that good sometimes you inhale it an say to heck with those pictures. One thing about the property this location is on.... its the actual plaza in its self. I wish there were no smoking signs by the outside of the restaurant. I hate walking up an having to inhale nicotine as if I just smokes a pack of cigarettes. Especially when getting food. Mellow mushroom ISN'T to blame for that, but the property management should consider that. I can't imagine walking thru that with a child its always pretty funky of smoke.

I often don't eat in at mellow mushroom. This place is HUGE. Easy to socially distance, tons of TVs. The pie we had was one of the best mellow pizzas I've had in a very long time, and service was very good. Five stars all day long

Ate outside on their patio. Tasty Italian grub, excellent service and (during this season) did not get eaten by flying pests.

Last time the person at the bar, Jen I believe, kept me waiting while assuming my online order (soup and salad) was not ready.
