Nice location, conveniently next to the W hotel. I walked from the hotel to mellow mushroom within 1 minute! I had a carry out order and received great service during checking out. If you’re from out of town prepare for your card to decline at most places due to fraud protection. I decided to go with a build your own pizza and no complaints.

This restaurant has it all. The atmosphere and service were awesome with assistance of smiley and supportive Cat. The food was amazing especially the Greek Salad and Shiitake Mushroom Pizza. The dough of the latter one was uniquely tasty. This place deserves another visit.

Great location and best part is you get your parking ticket validated for 1 hr. Manager at the time, Austin, understood my needs regarding gluten-free and promised to use all fresh ingredients from the kitchen as he was going to prep it himself. Tastes great! All the servers there were very attentive and friendly. It was nit too busy during the time we went early afternoon. Seating outside was nice too but to close to traffic for me.

Pleasantly surprised during our visit here. The staff was super friendly and the pies were incredible. Really impressed with the crust, both fluffy and has a nice chew to it. The toppings tasted fresh and the combinations were great.

We walked here from the Georgia Aquarium, it was super convenient to get to and not busy at all, despite being a Sunday! Our server was nice, fast, and mostly accommodating, although our party of 9 had to be split between 2 tables. The food was very tasty, especially our pretzel bite appetizer! The prices were pretty decent too. Despite being a chain, this place really has a unique charm to it. I enjoyed my experience here, and would recommend visiting.

Our first visit was slow because we were behind a 16 pizza. However, the pizza was fantastic and they had a veggie pizza for my 2nd son!! So we returned the next day for our last meal in Atlanta. Same friendly staff and pizza was ready quickly. We will make this our regular dining spot in Atlanta! We will be back for Prog Power next year!

Wanted to try this place while I was visiting and boy was that a mistake. I'm sure I would of had a great experience had it not been for the man that was taking my order. He was extremely rude. Believe his name is David (shaved head and mustache). As this was my first time ever dinning at this restaurant I had some questions so when I was pointing to the items on the menu he quickly pushes it away from me and makes a smart remark saying he knows everything on the menu already. Then when I asked about other options for a particular dish, he literally had to take a deep breath and continued to respond with a very aggressive tone. I was so uncomfortable and wanted to leave right then. It wasn't until I stopped another waitress to ask what his deal was and her response was that he was just having a bad day. Totally not acceptable to act that way in this type of business. Then when the food came I was even more disappointed. Very bland and not worth finishing. Please have this employee better trained to handle customers or not work there at all.

Anytime there is a Mellow Mushroom when we travel, we must visit! This location did not disappoint! The food was possibly the best we’ve ever had at a Mellow. We ordered the garlic cheese bread with pepperoni to start. Followed by a pepperoni pizza for my son and my husband and I shared a Cheesesteak and Pacific Rim Pizza. We chowed down and it was amazing! Our server, Cat was awesome and she really made our experience a ten! We had delicious food and the best time with her! Highly recommend you give this location a try! And I only rated it a 3 for atmosphere based on decor. It’s a great restaurant but I’ve just been to “cooler” decorated mellows. But seriously all in all it’s a 10 for me.

Right downtown nice area. The place is big with of course mushrooms are decorated. Service was fast and nice. The pizza was ok lacked sauce. We had a pepperoni and a chicken bacon on garlic sauce because they don't offer a white sauce. We also had drinks don't waste your money watered down. All in all its a nice restaurant.

It is not bad usually really good food when I go to the east coast. However I was dissatisfied with the calzones. We ordered three of them and not one have the three cheeses as promised. None of em had ricotta cheese. Other than that everything else was good. The food also does reheat well.

This was our first time eating at a Mellow Mushroom. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Great food. Wonderful server. Awesome vibe. We loved it. Only not so great part. Our pizza took a little longer to arrive than we felt it should have. There weren't many customers in the store and there was plenty of staff, it just seemed as though it shouldn't have taken 35+ minutes for our food. Not mad about it though. Our server kept us posted and the pizza was totally worth the wait.

Saved our night. After every other places had almost 2hr waits or closed! And not stopping at a place with too many bad reviews we walked 10 blocks to come here. Yes walked. And it saved the night. We ordered the mushroom soup and salads. The soup was just barely warm. We sent it back and it came back warmer but not steaming hot like I would've preferred. It was very good soup, though. I also got the Greek salad and it was good. The staff was nice. They originally set our soups down on the wrong table and had to go remake them. The manager came and said that due to the soup "problems", he offered to comp our soups without me asking or complaining in any way. I would definitely go back and give it another try based on how nice, apologetic, and sincere they were to make things right. Be aware that this downtown location opens at 12:00pm on Saturdays, even though the website says 11:00am.

Wanted pizza, got pizza. A funky atmosphere, hippie vibes and really good food. The service was lovely. I got a beer to start, an IPA that was good. Had the Karma pizza, veggie with really good pesto on top.

We got take out and it was quite a wait since we didn't call ahead but food is amazingly good. We got two large with two toppings each for 60 dollars. I highly recommend the holy shitake and the mighty meat as favorites. We also tried the house special and had them make a discontinued curry favor which is also one of our favorites. Everyone at this location is super nice and attentive.

First time in years I've been able to find a gluten free dairy free pizza that tasted and felt like real pizza! Cat hosted our table and was so friendly and helpful. A lovely spot with a lively atmosphere. Would go again today if we could! Thanks for feeding us so well!

Well we decided to try this place out because we wanted to try some good pizza. It was amazing. We also tried out the spinach dip which was phenomenal..... I haven't had a spinach dip that good in years. Our server was very attentive and gave us awesome server. We were able to walk from our hotel to this spot. This is most definitely a place to try out.

I wish they had one of these were I live now. I came to Atlanta on vacation and remembered eating at a place like this when I lived in New Orleans. This is hands down one of the BEST pizza places I've ever eaten at. I got the barbaque chicken pizza. It was cooked just enough. Not burnt. Super cheesy. Tender chicken. Also not too much bbq sauce. So glad it didn't over power it. My partner got their Hawaiian pizza. She LOVED hers as well. My sister got a meaty calzone. It was the most delicious calzone I've ever tasted in my life. If I'm being honest I went back the very next day just to get the calzone. It was probably the best tasting out of everything and the pizzas were delicious! The spinach dip was also hella tasty and the cheese sticks were bragging worthy. We also got a few different drinks. The sunset in paradise is super fruity, sweet and delicious. The liquid Marijuana was good but hella strong lol overall we had a great experience. Great waitress and very professional.

It was Friday Night and the family consensus was that we wanted to do a Pizza Night. As Pizza was the decision, it had to be good. After doing some digging on Yelp we ended up at Mellow Mushroom. The location is super convenient as it’s in the heart of Midtown. There are a few street parking spots, however, there is a paid parking deck directly next to the restaurant. It’s a win win. Unlike the usual ‘pizza spot,’ upon walking in there’s a sign that says “Please Wait to be Seated!” It was at that moment, I knew this was going to be an experience. LoL. Taking in the environment, the ambiance is very chill and laid back. This is a great location for a low key night out with friends, family, or even a chill themed date night. Adding to the pleasant ambiance, the hostess was super nice and all smiles. He sat us immediately and made a great welcoming impression as it relates to the standards of service. Not your typical flour dough. The MM crust is a different breed. According to their website, the crust stands apart from the rest as it has a distinctive sweet flavor and soft texture that starts with a dough made from five simple ingredients and mixed with single-source Appalachian spring water. Now listen, I’ve never had a crust made with Appalachian spring water, but babeeeeeeeeeee. It is GOOD!!! LoL!!! Cheesy, Meaty, and perfectly baked. Such a lovely place, situated in downtown ATL perfect location I ordered the Vegan pizza, I took a chance and went for the large and when I tell you it was delicious I mean it really was. Pizza nice and hot, cooked to my pleasure. The crust was crunchy and the toppings were amazing. Thanks so much for having vegan options.

They were understaffed with my visit. It took around 25 minutes for drink orders and another ten before we could put in food. I wouldn't have been so irritated but it was almost like initially the staff was avoiding us. The kicker was the group booked in advance. The pizza were great a waitress that wasn't serving or party did most of the legwork for my table. I may come again to give them another shot. I had the nests pizza and the wife had a pesto veggie pizza. it's definitely worth ordering takeout if you're in the area! PSA this might also be the coolest location I've been to they have beautiful giant mushrooms hanging fit the ceiling. Get trippy mane!!!

This was not our first choice for dinner but we do not want to wait long for the other restaurant so we decided to come here. They have an outside seating so we decided to eat out. Place is nice for an afternoon food and we got an excellent service from Bryan. I did not ask his name but it's his name on our receipt. They have good pizza. We ordered a medium pizza and calzone and that was more than enough for 4 people. Would recommend the place.

I was greeted immediately upon entering which I love. Veggies on my salad were nice and crisp and the greek dressing tasted homemade. My only complaint is the core of the lettuce was left in my salad.

Been to mellow mushrooms many times but this one is not great. Walked in to find it dead on a night that a big conference just ended. Not a good sign. The server came back several times to tell us they were out of something to the point that we suggested they make a list of what they do have and call that the menu. The food came out one or 2 plates at a time and not back to back. Several minutes between and the last thing to come out was a salad. It was bad to the point that you started to feel bad for the server. Her inexperience and unfamiliarity with the menu combined with the slow pace the kitchen kicked out our food made for a not so great dinner. 3 stars because at least the server was nice and the food was good. I won't be back to this one.

Our waitress, Cat, as so SO SO nice! We got the Shiitake Pizza, Greek Salad, and Artichoke Dip and wow wow it was all so incredible! Such a great stop on our trip around the country, definitely want to come back here for more :)

Very nice laid back atmosphere, the pizza is really good and service fast. The employees are very nice and available. I am removing one star because the place is pretty dirty. The floor is not clean and the bathrooms are also not great. When we arrived, took a while to get seated because the tables were all dirty. Also, some tables are covered with boxes in the middle of the restaurant.

I came on a weekend, so I had a bit of a wait time, 35 minutes to be exact. But the Pizza and wings were great, so it was all worth it. Me and my daughter enjoyed ourselves

This was my first time eating at any of their establishments, and the service was impeccable! They sat customers a good distance away from others, and wore their masks at all times. The server also gave excellent recommendations on what to purchase considering we were first time guests.

The Wheat Crust is phenomenal - you won't be able to leave those on the plate. The rest is the pizza is par for the course but they do have lots of creative "signature" pizzas that can add some variety if you like to mix up your order. Garlic bread was meh, tasted a little stale. With pickup or delivery make sure to check your pizza. They get busy and the staff can get overwhelmed. I've had to go back a couple times to replace a wrong order.

Amazing food and amazing service!! The place is super cute inside, there’s two floors and plenty of sports TVs along with a full service bar. We ordered the pretzel bites and the Magic mushroom soup was delicious! We also got the Holy Shiitake mushroom pizza (clearly we love mushrooms) and the kids tried the cheese pizza which was loaded with melted cheese. I would definitely return to try more next time we’re in Atlanta!!

Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and amazing pizza! Having a daughter who is dairy free and gluten sensitive it can be hard finding restaurants when traveling. Mellow Mushroom didn’t disappoint! Vegan cheese and gluten free crusts made it a great option for her while the rest of us enjoyed our favorite toppings as well!

We always love eating at Mellow mushroom and this one great also. The only reason didn't give a 5 star was waiter was not that friendly but everyone else was.

The pizza quality and the funky ambiance of this Atlanta restaurant would definitely warrant a 5 star review, however, when they charge your credit card an extra $ 10, they loose points quickly.
