Her nachos are so good my friend literally backpacked them up a mountain! We crossed TWO STREAMS with these nachos! I've eaten here 3 times, the cauliflower is always friend to perfection and you can tell everything is made with love. The drinks too! The Hibiscus agua fresca is my favorite, tastes good even after you let the ice melt

MAAAAN. They got the most delicious food, PERIOOOOD!! It's hard to make vegan food so flavorful, exciting, and fulfilling. They never let us down. This is now our go-to spot for food that is the best kind of delicious, it's the perfect cheat meal without the feeling of instant regret. Always packed with flavor AND it's vegan, AND they keep the menu exciting, innovating with new dishes... it's just bomb. This food really is for the soul, once you try it I'm telling you, you'll be obsessed. Thank y'all for blessing us, can't wait to keep coming back! Customer for life! Sidenote: I've had their Chili Cheese Fries, Birria Quesatacos with consome, Papas Bravas, Maduros, Rajas con crema mac n' cheese, Bodega Burrito, and their Aguas Frescas. When I tell you, EVERYTHING HAS BEEN BOMB!! I mean it!!! This is my second review EVER, and I GLADLY make that 1.5 hour drive for Local Coco, it's totally worth it.. Look at me taking pics of my food, I never thought I would be that person lol.

Although I am not a vegan, I love the food and drinks. The cauliflower wings with the sweet heat sauce is my favorite. My daughter loves the tacos. The location is convenient (free parking). We will definitely continue to support them!

Everything was cooked perfectly, the salsas were on point, & the agua frescas are addictive! The owners are incredibly nice people who clearly put so much care into the food.

Loaded nachos and the trio jackfruit tacos are the best thing on the menu. Love how everything is plant based!

Love love love this place!! My hubs was vegan when we discovered it but we still enjoy it just as much without eating vegan. Admittedly I’ve only ever gotten the chorizo nachos but when I think about getting something else I just can’t do it because the nachos are THAT good. The owners are fabulous people who work so dang hard and it doesn’t go unappreciated. We really hope more people learn about this gem and they’re one day able to have their own restaurant. For now we’ll continue visiting this sweet spot in Sweet Auburn to get our nacho fix.

As a non-vegan, I was very impressed with the Local Coco. I thought the cauliflower buffalo tacos were a revelation. The rajas tacos were excellent. The rice and beans and nachos were quite good. I thought the jackfruit rings tacos were interesting, but they still have the sweetness of fruit, which I didn't care for. The hibiscus tacos didn't have much flavor besides their sweetness. The restaurant can take a while. It took over 30 minutes for me to order and receive my food at 1:00 pm. They have a new menu as of April so I took a photo of it.

AMAZING! Incredible service and out-of-this-world food! The flavors and textures of everything was outstanding and I will absolutely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

A lot better and cool than we expected! Their meat substitutes are beyond amazing, I bet even meat lovers wouldn’t tell if they were not told those are hibiscus and jackfruits! Nachos are excellent, cheesy sauce is tasty, I wish chips were not grist, but it’s okay, because they are tasty! Nachos and Tacos are a bit spicy for me, but my boyfriend who loves spicy foods is so content. What a creation! Well done, it’s a must tru Mexican Food!

i already started eating before I remembered to take a pic for my review . the first time i had their food ... amaaaaaazing ... second time was what's pictured ... it wasn't as fresh because i didn't get it right away . beans and rice a lil over seasoned in my opinion . the flavors from the tacos and the rice and beans clashed but i definitely would say try it because everyone likes their food differently . overall great experience . i still recommend people to try it .

Everything was tasty except fot the one mushrooms taco which was bland to me, the cauliflower wings first having it since being vegan really flavorful and gluten free. I think this place would be a hit if they had a dinning option.I prefer the sweet sauce over ranch but combined them and it was a good mixture.

Highly impressed! Cauliflower was nice and crispy! You could actually get it to go without worrying about it getting soggy. Hibiscus Barbacoa Nachos were amazing! Only downside FOR ME is one of the meat substitutes are soy based. Also Very slow but will wait! Lol Ill be back again and again! Highly recommend!!!!!

Three stars because the food is way overpriced for what you get and service is very slow. Paid $15 for a bodega burrito with cilantro lime crema ($14+1). It was tiny!! Like half the size of a regular burrito (honestly they kinda looked like small samosas).Flavor was good, but not remarkable. Agua Fresca, however, was wild. Sharp, spicy, dense. Would definitely get again. The ginger is the dominant flavor and hibiscus only serves to soften it a bit. Not at all sweet, which I appreciate. If you’re used to a sweet Agua Fresca, this may seem quite bitter.

Excellent counter-style vegan restaurant inside the Municipal Market in Atlanta. Lots of choices, all with gourmet flair using down-to-earth ingredients. The oyster-mushroom tacos are amazing...topped with spicy crema and veggies inside maize tortillas. Fried cauliflower is highly recommended too! Staff is friendly and kind. This place is situated inside a larger marketplace so seating is a communal “cafe” of tables, but everything seems very clean and well-maintained. Ordering at the Local Coco is “online only” at the time of this review but they make it super easy with QR codes that you can scan right from your phone. Will definitely return to try more of the menu next time we’re in the neighborhood! Be kind and love each other! ☮️

Visited on 1/13 The food is good but the wait time is always later than they tell you. I recommend the papas bravas and the Memphis heat cauliflower wings. The two original founders are always super cool, however, the girl working the front today was less than helpful or welcoming in persona. I left a bit annoyed.

Amazing food...surpassed all my expectations. Highly recommend this place. The nachos are bomb...the fried cauliflower is my smile in this very moment from the memory of eating...definitely going back.

Best vegan food in Atlanta hands down! Get the nachos, they’re delicious! Their agua frescas are amazing as well. If there’s a special you definitely have to try that too. Just be sure to order online or over the phone before you get there.
