I went to the Bannock restaurant which is under new ownership. The chef graduated from The Cordon Bleu culinary school and even went to Paris to further her studies. Anyway she must have missed some classes. The food was HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING. If my friend I was with hadn't been doing business with the restaurant as a vendor, I would have ask for a total refund. The bill came to $87.00. That's insane for that BS food and lunch!

Ansley mall has everything you really need. Makes me wish I lived close enough to walk there. It had a supermarket, a gym, a Starbucks, several restaurants, a salon suite that has a ton of stylists, a massage place, and a place to get your teeth bleached. There's even a CVS, a mattress store, a pet store, and a place to buy kitchen stuff. I am looking forward to the new bagel place that's coming in!

The Square is a great place to go for a variety of options. From LGBTQ bars, to art supply store, and even a 24 hr animal hospital. And, of course Sues is a great place to grab a bite to eat late into the night.

Decent shopping center in the middle of town that has a little bit of everything from restaurants to grocery stores and a pet store. Definitely a place. I frequent a lot given the variety.

Barking Leather Is a must to stop by! Ultimately, I was able to procure a leash and collar set that not only exhibits an aesthetically pleasing appearance but also demonstrates remarkable Handmade durability.

Parking is a bit scarce here depending on the moght and time. There are several gay nightclubs in this area which is great for the LGBTQ community so we don't have to travel all over Atlanta to visit more than one club. That bring said, Saturday night the parking lot fills up very quickly. But you can also park by the CVS at Ansley Square and it is only a 5 minute walk away. I choose to look at it as burning off the calories I will soon be consuming. 😁

Someone was leaving up against my loaner. I kindly asked them to do the needful and step away from the vehicle. The started running off at the mouth. Having been in the situation, used my judgement to ignore and walk away. Wrong move. The person started following me to another bar on foot. Grabbed me by the back of my collar as I was being IDed at the door. The boy working the door was scared he was less than 6 days on the job. Tried to talk with the bartenders as the blunder was useless. Everyone was busy, stressed and overworked. It took 15 minutes to get the head bartender attention v then he thought IV was being impatient for my drink (fwiw i rarely drink). After that drama, got them to plus I'm my phone and charge it. There was some reluctance and hesitancy to involve they police. I do not know if anyone was banned or phone for the behavior.

We go to Burkharts and it's amazing. The people are lovely and very sweet. (If you stop in say hi to Dustyn, Chris, and Ryan) It's one of my favorite places in Atlanta. They are very open to people from all walks of life. I've met some of the most interesting people just hanging out here.

I went to Hello Sugar in SALON LOFTS. My aesthetician Breyauna was amazing. This was my 1st time getting waxed and a Brazilian at that and she made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the process.

The square is a sort of upper middle class strip mall, albeit it's not exactly your conventional strip mall. It has just about everything. A gym, CVS, Publix, (not my favorite but they seem popular with the better off set) a liquor store/fine wine merchant, national coffee shop, a decent pizza joint, a sporting goods store, add infinitum. Vendors are fairly static but it is rarely stagnant. If your new too town it's a good place to start. Nothing in midtown has the choices in one place. P.S. there are also several banks separate from main buildings as well as one within. Additionally there is a laundry mat as well as an alternative lifestyle bar if that's what your into. PPS Shhhh, I did not say this but there is a Kroger less then a block to the north if you are looking for decent meats and fair discounts. Be safe and enjoy! DL

Stopped at Su's Chinese Restaurant for a late night snack. The area has an interesting vibe, but it's not really what I'd roll with. This place has a lo-mein combo though. It's on my short list for when I get the late-night munchies.

Shop selection could be better. Some empty buildings and hours of most places are pretty bad. I’m usually here just to go to LAF.

Barely a shell of what was once a nice busy intown shopping center, now looks ghetto and unkempt, most stores now vacant in the mall thru.
