Im from Atlanta. I've spent tons of money at this shopping center. I've shopped at nearly every restaurant/store from the pool hall to Trader Joe's to taking my son to the orthodontist. Today, I parked in the back of the property bc I couldn't find parking in the lot. It was also a convenient spot near the entrance to the dog shop where I went. The curb near where I parked had yellow on it, but not where my car was. There wasn't a no parking sign. I returned to my car booted. If parking was not allowed in that location, there should be a sign or the yellow on the curb should have been continued.. it makes me less likely to return when I've spent thousands at this plaza

Thankfully, we didn't have to deal with parking here as there was a "$15 event parking" going on thanks to the Dogwood Festival at the nearby Piedmont Park. We were here for some pre-gaming and to stay out of the rain for a bit. As mentioned elsewhere, this is a very crowded parking lot and the spaces are tight. I would have had some real trouble negotiating this lot with my Sprinter van. There is an entrance on 8th Street. The main draw here is the Trader Joe's but you'll also find a Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom, MetroFresh (eatery), Snooze (more eating), cinema, Indian and a UPS Store. Professional/medical offices and salons, too.

One of my neighborhood shopping centers: Starbucks, UPS store, MetroFresh, Trader Joe's, Desi Spice, The Highlander, The Independent, Apres Diem, Midtown Art Cinema & others.

Mostly empty now, so plenty of parking in back. Apres Diem and Frogs are the places to eat. Trader Joes has excellent Chilean wine for $5 that is equal to what others sell at $25

I went to the promenade to shop at trader Joe's it looks like they have painted the out side of the building it looks refreshed and new. And of course I enjoyed the deals inside and the new fines that I've never tried before. It's always a treat to shop at trader Joe's because you never know what new you will find and enjoy. Shout out to the clerk who checked me out and had a conversation with I didn't get her name but she was a delight. Her station was near the exit

Nice and diverse Plaza with worthwhile places. Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Señor Frog, Apres Diem, Heyday spa, Movie theater, a pop up holiday bar, an Indian Restaurant, a Sports Bar, I mean to be such a small Plaza, it packs a lot of great places.

I went exclusively to utilize the UPS Store services, but it was illuminating to see all of the newly remodeled and incredibly wonderful available storefronts the Promenade boasts.

This must be one of the busiest Trader Joes anywhere. Parking lot is always almost full, but the employees are so good I keep going back?

Nice place to see a movie, enjoy a meal with friends, pick up some groceries, or have a drink. UPDATE (July 4, 2023): parking is free up to 2 hours but requires submitting an online form with your license plate and email; 2-4 hour price is $5 plus a $1 fee. 🙄

Desperately needs a safe open pedestrian connection from here to the Home Depot parking lot. Also needs better bike rack on the parking lot side.

This is the first time I went to Trader Joe's in Midtown I live in Hapeville so there's nothing close with healthy food and I love this store I will be back

Enjoy going to Trader Joe's. It's not convenient I wish they would build more stores. I travel from the south side of Atlanta once a month. Even though you can shop on line. The parking lot is quite small. Always busy sometimes you have to wait for parking space. They also still have cart wipes, many places have relaxed since covid. Let's do our best not to spread germs.

This place has a little bit of everything. Hey, His can you go wrong with Mellow Mushroom, Starbucks,Trader Joe's, Alici's, snooze, and a movie theater. This is a happening place that you've got to visit. There are bars with signature and top shelf cocktails and spirits. There is coffee you've even have package delivery and shipping. It is located right at Piedmont Park and the Beltline perfect perfect perfect. There's something everywhere over at this location great atmosphere. Security on property and lots of parking. I just love it.

I went to the movies and saw TMNT. The theater is a bit pricey, but not crowded AT ALL, so I’ll come every time for that reason alone. There is plenty to eat in the Promenade as well if you like pizza, Indian food, and the likes thereof. You do have to pay to park, but the first two hours are free, or you can pay $5.00 for four hours. A nominal fee that won’t break the bank or your wallet.

Great Customer Service. I liked their Fried Pickles and Pool. They have good drinks and Social Distancing and masks were noticed during My visit.

  • 5/5 Gary T. 1 year ago on Google
The people were great, very friendly and efficient. I think the theater is due for an update to keep its appearance fresh, like larger, reclining seats, etc... .

I went to Traders Joe's it was great as always. You get in and get out. They have so many things to choose from. The workers are helpful and knowledgeable.

Lots of high-quality places in here. The Independent is a great bar/place to play pool. Midtown Theater is freaking awesome - especially if you enjoy indie movies. Axiom is my favorite salon in Atlanta. Plenty of other stuff around too. Just don't use the lot as parking for Piedmont Park. Your car will most likely get booted.

  • 1/5 Ernie C. 2 years ago on Google
The other night I got booted in the lot in front of Trader Joes. I blame the business owners for this. I had come early, around 6pm to see Lamb at the theater (which was playing at 7pm); parked in that lot near Trader Joes, initially. My friend wanted to go get ice cream; I wanted coffee; so we got the idea to go get ice cream at a store close by, and then come back, get coffee. We went to the ice cream place, but there was a line, so we left sans ice cream, immediately came back to Starbucks (10 minutes had elapsed), then went to Trader Joes, then when I got back to my car, it was booted. I told the woman I shopped there, and she said, "We know... we saw you." But that was irrelevant next to their collecting that $75. I'm never going to the Promenade again -- I only go to (1) Support Landmark theater, which looks like it needs the business (sincerely!); (2) I like Metro Fresh's healthy food; (3) At random times, it's convenient to go to the Starbucks and/or Trader Joes; (4) On rare occasions, I go to Mellow Mushroom. I probably spend about $50 to $100 / week at that mall, which adds up to about $2,500 to $5,000 / years. No more!

I love the unique movie events and showings. It's an older theater so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but the decor is cool.

  • 5/5 Hunter K. 2 years ago on Google
Decent collection of bars plus a great art house movie theater.

  • 5/5 Mario H. 2 years ago on Google
This center is trying to decide what to be. It is wonderful with current shops. It will be less wonderful if it tries to be Ponce City Market. We already have one of those. Keep the uniqueness of the Promenade.

Just in case you need latte, ice cream, a hot dog and flowers, there's Starbuck's, Nathan's hotdog, Brusters and Trader Joe's for your convenience in one plaza.

I've been going here for over 30 years. And, the parking has always sucked! Do yourself a favor, and play the 'Rockstar Parking Spot' game. The rules to the game are: 1) Drive around to the front of the establishment in which you are going. 2) Repeat this phrase over and over while looking for your Rockstar parking spot - "Come on Rockstar parking! Rockstar parking! Rockstar parking!" 3) Two possible outcomes: A) You find that Rockstar parking spot, right up front, just like you hoped for! B) There is no rockstar parking spot. You have to park all the way in back of the lot. *Playing this game helps ease the frustration. Trust me.

Finally have been able to get to Trader Joe's because I was looking for the Banana Pudding ice cream, but it's a seasonal item. I did go on to find other good items and some pretty flowers. Definitely will be returning.

Fun place for food, entertainment, groceries, movie theater, nails, etc. It's one of the 'places to be' in midtown Atlanta. Right now, we're here for the 2022 Out on Film Festival - a must see annual ritual now back in person after the worst of the pandemic.

  • 5/5 Beth R. 1 year ago on Google
Love the theater. Opre Diem has good food and service. Trader Joe's, Mellow Mushroom, Starbucks, etc. More good food close by and Piedmont Park across the street, who could want for more?

Expensive to park here. Saw a movie and had dinner and had to pay $16.90 for parking. Won't keep supporting these businesses sadly.

I was on the way to Piedmont Park and the street parking was difficult to find, then I saw this nice shopping mall with plenty of parking spaces, so I went into Trader Joe's, one of the great stores, I love to shop for.

Recently renovated, with a snazzy new entrance off the beltline. I wish more shopping centers would prioritize pedestrian and bike traffic instead of building huge parking lots!

I love indie Landmark Cinemas. Trader Joe's is a regular stop, and occasionally go to MetroFresh, Starbucks, Bruster's, UPS or Après Diem. It's mostly food places. One of the few 'old school' malls left in the area, and I like that. Has been bought by developer who owns Krog Street and Stove Works, among others. Expect changes. So far no improvements but they do now have PAID PARKING if you are there longer than 2 hours. No validations as far as I know.

Midtown Promenade has everything you want: good bars, good restaurants, a good grocery store, and a movie theater. I feel like people forget about this place when discussing places to go out in Atlanta, but it has some real advantages. The unique design makes it feel like a neighborhood place, which is great. This is a good place to shop.
