Loring Heights Park

Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘ Nice place for a picnic lunch, but some of the tables are rotting and need to be fixed or replaced. Think I found some thing. Has an awesome playground for small children. People often mention park, pond, neighborhood, playground, Loring, Heights, great,

Beautiful and serene park nestled away in the Loring Heights Neighborhood. It’s very well kept - the neighborhood does a great job with the park upkeep. There is a nice walkway around the lovely pond, and even a spacious deck for grilling that overlooks the water. The playground area is right next to the deck, providing a safe play area for kids. The park is usually pretty empty, but on weekends I have seen families enjoying the park. Usually I find adults grilling out on the deck while their children are playing. I often bring my Dog here since there is a fenced in Dog Park adjacent to the park. The Dog Park backs up along the interstate. If it wasn’t for the interstate being used as a wall the Dog Park, you would barely notice you were downtown. I walk my dog here frequently on weeknights, and usually find other people doing the same. People do obey the leash rules and have their dogs on leashes. My dog loves walking around the pond with me because we often see ducks. Last time they kept quacking at us, and he just sat there staring at them.

Beautiful! Child-friendly, fun playground, donated books, pond, dirt/gravel walking path, and ample sitting areas. You might even see some ducks and turtles!

Wonderful hidden little neighborhood park. Very nice outdoor equipment and a unique plant filled lake with turtles, frogs, and birds to discover. No smoking, and you can tell it is family oriented so be mindful of your conduct in general.

I loved this place! I didn't actually go to the park area, but we did go to the fenced in dog parks. I have been looking everywhere for a place I can take my dog that isn't overrun with other dogs.. He doesn't quite get along with other pups, so this park was perfect! There were some dogs running around the main green space, while we were safely tucked away in one of the two enclosed spaces right by it πŸ˜€ beautiful park, and well done dog area!

Lovely, hidden park nestled in the Loring Heights neighborhood in South Buckhead. The park features a duck pond, playground and overall serene place to walk or sit. It's maintained by the City of Atlanta and it's off the beaten path.

Such a cute little park that has a great little pond and seating overlooking the pond. We love walking our dogs to here and watching all the turtles. The 2 geese have become a little territorial recently though, which makes walking around the pond a little stressful at times haha

If you ever want to go to the park but don't want to deal with a ton of people then the Loring Heights Park is just the place to go. It's seculded in the neighborhood of Loring Heights and is very quiet and peaceful park , duck pond and a small hiking trail with a kid's park what more could you want. This also could be a great place for a small private wedding. But you will need to find out if they rent it out.

I've worked as a full-time Nanny for almost 8 years in this neighborhood. I have watched this park take shape and evolve into a lovely, family friendly place. I "sit" for 8 different families in Loring Heights and all of my kiddos enjoy this park very much! I have wonderful memories of this park. It is a great place for parties and cookouts. I just love this park and that it has brought this neighborhood together in so many lovely ways! πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

Amazing west midtown amenity. Walking trails, a pond, a creative and extensive playground nestled in Loring Heights. Plenty of seating for adults.
