CREEPY. CREEPY. CREEPY. Quiet is an accurate statement. Sound doesn't travel well here and that is the first thing my kids and I noticed. We were curious about the walking trails that we read about in the other reviews so we decided to try this park out. The playground equipment is in fair condition but obviously made for older kids. My 9 year old could barely reach some of the monkey bars. We decided to head for the trails. The woods are indeed oddly quiet, and as we made our way down the stairs to the trail, we all got spooked but decided to keep going. Not more than 20 feet in, I noticed a line of dead doves off to the right. No kidding. Lined up neatly and all missing heads. About 20 feet further on, a large chicken lay in the middle of the path sporting a bloody stump where the head should have been. We decided to call it a day and go home to watch a movie.

So came here a while ago not impressed, basketball court is in really bad condition the concrete is all cracked, the hoop is rusted metal so yeah the basketball court is a no. Now the field was cut so you would be able to play like baseball and soccer or football, and there is there's a lot of shade. The tennis court is all cracked too. Now the trails are creepy to be honest it's scary. Not a fan of this park.

I enjoyed this park nestled in the heart of the Chosewood neighborhood. It has a FEW parking spaces, but parking nonetheless. The park has a tennis court in good condition, 4 basketball goals (2 stand alone half courts and 1 full court), a great baseball field and some open space for picnics, etc. and was clean with relatively very little litter. I removed 1 star because people do NOT pick up after their dog and on my way walking back to my vehicle, across the field I counted several dog poop mounds. This ruins everything as the signage clearly says dogs aren’t allowed in athletic fields. PLEASE don’t be lazy: pick up behind your dog. Trash cans are plenteous. The open field would be so wonderful for field games, workouts or picnics, but letting your dog run leash-free which is against park rules (yes golden retriever with dyed pink tail) and not picking up after your dogs is selfishly impacting the experience of others. Please keep your community members in mind and pick up behind your dogs. Recreational spaces are a reprieve for all.

Beautiful hidden gem in Atlanta’s park system. Tennis court, baseball field, and an epic urban Forest with running/walking trails.

Has a baseball field and small basketball courts. My favorite part is the woodsy walking path. It's about 1/2 a mile I would guesstimate. But don't rely on that... I don't measure distance well.

This is an excellent little park. Nice BIG baseball field, tennis court, basket ball courts, a great 3-10 years old play structure. PLUS acres and acres of woodland trails among huge hardwoods. It is at the center of the neighborhood, and really quiet and peaceful.

A great Urban Forest refuge from the city. Three miles from the Gold Dome and we have an enviable, variety of native tree's 🌲, plants 🌿and shrubs. The native plants help support the wildlife. Additionally, this Park boast having four species of owl πŸ¦‰ and deer 🦌 roaming through the park. A short nature trail allows you and your dog πŸ• some nice excercise in this oxygen aquifer. The park also has a tennis/pickle ball court. Basketball and softball elements. A children's playground and picnic tables.

Hidden gem. Trees Atlanta has sheep here today which are going to eat the woods clean for 1 month (9 acres). Can't wait to come back and see.
