Parking is pretty difficult in this area during highly active times of the day. The grounds were re-done with walking paths, fountain, stadium-type seating and a concert mall, and updated playground all around the splash pad. Very culturally diverse, and also economic diversity among those who play and visit here. We've had horrid interactions with blatant racists who threatened to endanger our children, and encountered a man who was assaulted and had his cell phone stolen only minutes after he jogged past our family. It can be a lot of fun here, but be prepared for random interactions.

Both attractive and useful in the summer heat, Splash Park can be found at the heart of Sugar Hill. It sits behind the grand edifice of Sugar Hill City Hall and The Bowl at Sugar Hill, a major outdoor music venue. A long stretch of lawn leads towards a circle of hard surfacing which has a series of water jets hidden within it. Its 50 of so jets rise and fall, shoot and dip to the delight of the city’s younger residents who can be found soaking themselves on summer days. A great excuse to discover Sugar Hill whether you’re with children or not, Splash Park is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Park is amazing. Parking on side street is ok. Not crowded or too busy. The Park has splash pad fountain and a playground. Stairs & ramps connecting Long paved trails for those who like riding bikes, skates etc. Benches on the perimeter of both areas. Lots of greenery for picnic, lounging, or good clean relaxing outdoor time. Nice scenery and amphitheater style fountain for viewing.

Great splash pad for kids to visit. It gets crowded so be prepared. Wish there was more seating. One of the benches was flooded on the floor and no one could sit there. There is a nice size playground and bathrooms readily available.

Beautiful park in the heart of the city. It feels like a retreat from the concrete jungle into the forest. Great walking trails, turtle ponds, and playgrounds for kids with a full on splash pad. It’s right next to the Beltline and Ponce City Market. Grab some lunch at the market and picnic in the park!

Kids made several friends and had a blast. Mildly challenging obstacles, slides and ropes, quality splash pad and this epic merry-go-thunderdome was entertaining for like 12 kids at a time.

Great place for kids with the water sprinklers and playground. Downside is that there is limited Parking. There were several birthday parties and other activities at the park. Tip #1 arrive before noon to find shade. Lol We had a great time. Will definantly be back.

My son really loves this splash pad and playground. There is only street parking but if you don't mind parallel parking you can usually find a spot. The splash pad has a nice, kind of padded type floor so it's not just cement. There are plenty of benches and we always find a place to perch. One side of the area is nicely shaded and the other side is in the sun. The playground is just a few steps away from the splash pad and it's really great. Has a cool merry-go-round that's kind of shaped like a huge ball and swings that are like round discs. There aren't traditional swings but there are two play structures with slides and climbing areas. Lots of shady areas with benches to sit and watch the kids play. Bathrooms accessible from playground. There are also nice shady walking paths around the play area. Would recommend to anyone with kids.

The boys enjoyed themselves tremendously. And we had the whole place to ourselves. The playground activities were physically engaging for varying ages, unique and fun. However, this entire park needs a one over with a power washer it is exceedingly grimey/covered in mildew and a light layer of dry mud. The water park was an easy win of course.

Nice splash pad area. It gets to be pretty hot in the summer time due to very little shelter coverage/umbrellas.

We were looking forward to the splash pads being on. Not sure why they weren't! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

It's a great park but unfortunately it was closed when we went last time. The website said it was open but there was no water working on the splash pad. Many families with children were leaving disappointed. We also left disappointed. It's upsetting to have no other splash pad in the area and find it empty. It's even disrespectful to all of us. I hope whatever issues they have in the future that is mentioned in the website for all the reasons above.

Huge park, the splash pad is nice but needs some work. It's not draining well and it's muddy. My kid still loves it. There are bathrooms but no water fountain.

I remember when this land was a barren Hell-scape of concrete, rusty metal, and suffering. In the before times of circa-2002. It’s nice now. Good playground. Friendly ducks.

We have always loved it here, but park maintenance really needs to fix the 4 to 5 water stations that don't work...it has been 2 years that certain stations have not worked.

Wonderful find! Tucked away in the middle of downtown Atlanta, this partook has a great playground for kids and walking paths for the grownups. Lots of trees provide ample shade in the hot sun.

It is a very nice park, but very neglected and the bathroom never has paper because a woman lives there and takes it with her and is always sitting in the bathroom with her heater and her bicycle

I usually love taking my kids to this place, my family and I just came back from Mexico. I took my 2 year old and 4 year old to the splash pad. Then my baby developed these bumps underneath his legs and arm folds.. then I started getting bumps on my hands and feet and had fever, chills, loss of appetite, canker sores in mouth. Now my husband has it. We went there only a week ago, I just want people to be warned. It was probably from my baby drinking the water. It's called hands foot and mouth disease.
