Shoal Creek Park I

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Lovely big, grassy park. The athletic areas are neatly fenced off and the area is clean of all trash. There's 2 playgrounds on either side, and lots of trees next to a little creek. Would be a great area for a picnic. People often mention park, Nice, kids, family,

This park is surprisingly well kept. Good playground for kids, nice paved walking trail, 2 covered areas with picnic tables and grills, basketball court, and tennis court. Lots of grass and trees as well. Never busy when I go, usually I just see a couple adults sitting in the covered areas, not sure what they are doing there though.

The park itself is nice and the tennis courts and basketball courts are a little old but in acceptable condition my main complaint is all the trash around the whole park this trash is mainly from the people who hangout in the park every afternoon/night,they're there every day to play cards, get drunk and smoke weed so if you're looking for a family and friendly atmosphere this isn't the right place. I been seeing a lot of people coming to the park with their kids and they just leave right away, bcz in my opinion they don't feel safe and I really don't blame them for feeling that way.

Belvedere Baseball League promotes team work and family fun! I love to see these young boys and girls playing baseball and having fun. No losers in this league we win every time we show up to this park!

Dekalb needs to do a better with the up keep of that park. That park is poorly keep and is nothing like the ones in dunwoody and the other parks in north dekalb.

The swings and the basketball hoops were down and might not have been well taken care of, but the fields were well kept and there was so much open space for picnics and games. Would be great to throw a frisbee or practice any sporting activities! No water fountains or bathrooms, but pavilions with access to charcoal grills with a charcoal disposal container. Nice park!

I love this place. It's clean. Plenty of things to do for the kids and family. While there I spoke to a local who says they have a community event there annually called"Glenwood Day".

Love this park. I can remember when it was the baseball fields, playground and b-ball court. Wonderful place during the summer as a kid when my fam and I went to summer camp at this park. Great park for parties of all types.

What is up with providing nice parks in neighborhoods that do not use them? I never see actual children and families at these parks. I only see lost dog posters.
