This place totally surprised me. The park itself is absolutely massive and the quality of the facilities are also top shelf. Ran into three different Rangers and they were all incredibly nice to talk to. Inside there’s a collection of animals, some stuffed and a good many alive, they were incredibly interesting to see. It’s almost like a mini zoo. The trails are very convenient from the Rangers Welcome station. Some trails are long. Some are quite short, but very convenient and super well maintained. From what we can tell the park is quite massive. You can only receive ranger lead walks to the top of the mountain, and when we go back, we will definitely do that.

It’s a pretty good place to site see and walk or bike the trails. Camping 🏕️ here is nice but the walk to the campground is like WOW 😯. You need to be prepared to walk at least 3/4 of a mile to get there. I’d do it again 😊. I’m enjoying my visit here.

The picnic area and playground are so clean. The park is very spacious...it feels private and so relaxing! Lots of beautiful nature to explore. Bonus: the bathrooms were surprisingly clean as well!!!

I visited the park with my kids, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's like a hidden gem. The park is beautiful, quiet and clean. There is a playground, restrooms, lots of picnic areas, gym area, trails, etc. My kids love it and want me to take them back every day. There is also a park fee. You have the option of doing a daily pass for $5 or an annual pass for $50 with various ways of paying.

Always a great place to hike. Questions answered, decent view. We went recently for the 4th of July event. If you are looking for a relaxing evening after a short hike, then this event is the place. Lots of fireworks in the distance, but not in your face. Very informational! Just remember to watch where you step!

Beautiful state park. Super clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. The camp ground are so nice and secluded with an outhouse which to my surprise was very clean. I love the set up of each camp spot and all the beautiful nature around. This was our first time camping and it was awesome.

We had a great time camping here. It's a great place to get out in nature so close to the city.

There's a $5 fee to park at the Archery Center location, but there is ample parking. Activities include archery practice in the designated area, picnicking at the covered picnic area, fishing at the lake, hiking, biking and running the paved trails, or exploring the unpaved trails. If you have the energy to go the distance, you can travel the paved trails all the way to the South River trails. There are restrooms in the parking area; the ladies' room smelled as though it had been freshly cleaned when I visited. Pro Tip: State Park parking passes are available to check out for seven days at the library.

Enjoyed the day. Only took off a star as the staff didn't really want to assist us as this was our first time to visit. But it didn't stop the enjoyment of the park.

Nice quiet. If you rent their bikes please please please be sure to check the bike. Those brakes are horrible. One of the bikes brakes didnt work at all and we found out while going down hill. They need to do maintenance on those bikes and have them properly sized meaning have the size of the bike on the bike so we can choose the correct bike to fit us properly. Other than that it's nice. Yes would go again. Just get those bikes checked

One of our favorite parks. It's never overcrowded so the children can enjoy the playground with ease. The walking trails are nice, and we even use outdoor workout equipment. Every blue moon, we visit the wildlife museum and pretend we've never done so before. My oldest child is in high school, has been going to this park since he was 3, and he hasn't gotten tired of it yet.

👍 Clean, off the main hwy so easy to get to... Basketball courts, playground and walking paths... But the best part is the snaking, 2.5 mile jogging/biking trail that leads into Old Town Conyers where they actively film TV shows and movies. Such a great experience to start off on the trail through the...

👍 Pretty cool little park. Open area with grass, a couple of swings but we came for the splash pad! Nice touch to this area. I love it’s something to do for free for a little one who loves activities. I’ll be coming back.
