Really nice State Park that offers lots of activities and is well maintained. The campground is laid out very well and offers a lot of beautiful lakeshore spots. Friendly Park Ranger and staff. Highly recommended

Great place to camp, several amenities for kids many sites right along the shores of lake Hartwell.

Nice. Great hiking trails. Nice campsites! RV sites and Yurts. Great for boaters and fishing! Some campsites are very noisy due to that! Kid friendly. Rustic Outdoor amphitheater. If you want peace and quiet go to a park in the mountains.

This is a beautiful area around the lake and I frequently visit. I visited yesterday afternoon and walked in the water of the lake and along the shore. Now I have a case of Swimmer’s Itch which is caused by parasites. Please be careful getting into this water, especially parents who have small children. This is not a fun experience.

Family oriented, always clean. We have family reunions at the pavilion, air conditioning a plus for enjoying a meal! It's also lake front with plenty of outdoor space.

It was a very beautiful park. We enjoyed our time there. It was off season so not many people there. They have trails and a beautiful lake. The campground and cabins looked nice although we stayed elsewhere, only because we couldn't book in time for our trip.

You will enjoy your stay.

Love the location ..there are some really great spots to camp at and there isnt alot of what you say troublemakers ..like at some places
