Great coffee place.😃 I give 5 stars to this place. They have variety of coffees & teas. They even carry black coffees. Most of them are locally locally-sourced. Even their caramel that they use is house-made. The place is clean & pulls a mixed crowd of young professionals and people of all ages and races. Saw a lot of people working on their laptops here. My server was a beautiful girl named Savannah. She was super helpful, friendly, professional & accommodating. I'm not a coffee person & hence limited knowledge. So naturally I needed help differentiating between espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, cortado, and various other kinds. She was very patient, kind and helped me by explaining the differences between all with a beautiful smile on her face. You don't get the same service neither explanation when you go to a big retail chain like Starbucks. I would highly recommend everyone to try this place. I am sure that you received exceptional customer service along with great quality products here. Will definitely be returning here again.😃😃😃

I love Taproom and live nearby and come here often for a great (and I do mean great) cup of coffee. As far as I am concerned it is one of the best coffee shops in Atlanta. That said, for some reason, the afternoon staff has started cleaning up, putting chairs up on tables, mopping, sweeping, etc., almost two hours before closing, making working here and getting school work done awkward and uncomfortable. So I guess come early. Other than that, I highly recommend.

Quiet location compared to most other coffee shops. The service here is very considerate, at least from my experience here. The menu, however, is very limited. I. LOCATION Within Kirkwood Station. For parking, I parked on the street for free ~ easy. II. SERVICE Considerate. I came on a day they were slammed with a massive order of probably 30+ drinks for a company. I waited for an extended period of time for my drink. The employee who took my order was kind enough to give me a free beverage as compensation for my long wait ~ Shows they actually care. I appreciated it. III. QUALITY I'm sad at how limited the menu is. I didn't have much flexibility with the syrup flavor options to add to my cold brew like I typically do. I expect more from a place that specializes in coffee. IV. CAPACITY Busy for a Thursday mid-afternoon.

Nice coffee spot with lots of coffee options, a little too strong for me. Limited food (baked goods) options, quiche tasted pre-made. After a discussions regarding coffee size, I was charged for a medium and ended up with a small. Nicely located in the Kirkwood town area. Friendly atmosphere and nice outdoor seating.

Good little coffee shop near Kirkwood Market,right across the road from Anna's Barbecue. The roast on the coffee was smooth, with a good finish. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Dog friendky outdoors. Fast & friendly service. If you're near Decatur and need a coffee fix then consider coming here!

Great local coffee shop! You should definitely come here after going to Evergreen. Try the beerspesso, a combination of iced coffee, malt syrup, and hops that tastes like a Guinness but with only caffeine.

If I could give no stars I would. Thought id give this coffee shop a chance. I got the worst customer service. My coffee was disgusting. Will never go again.

Having worked in customer service my whole career it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to customer service. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a coffee shop but Kiara at Taproom Coffee made my day. She was polite, attentive, well spoken, and educated about everything they had to offer. On top of that, you could tell she cared about the product she was selling. Well done guys! Keep it up and give Kiara a raise!

I can’t drink milk: I haven’t had hot chocolate in years and they made it with almond milk. It was absolutely delicious. They even make their own chocolate 🍫 (that contains milk) My girlfriend got a vanilla latte and she said she’d go back, but next time she’s get a large lol. I’ll be back too!

I stopped in for coffee and was excited to see non-dairy pastry options! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what they offer. I'll definitely be back!

The staff is awesome! The coffee is pretty good too and they don't mind if you hang out and work. The wifi is strong even outside on the patio which is very dog and kid friendly! I haven't eaten anything here yet and really only drink black coffee and tea but they do have a nitro cold brew that is amazing if you need that extra jolt of energy to get through your workday!

I love my local neighborhood coffee shop! The staff is super sweet and they use local roasters for their beans (East Pole). They were super careful during the COVID-19 pandemic and started to use the Odeko app for easier ordering and curbside pickup. This was such a great idea! They’ve opened their doors for patrons to sit inside now, but I still use the app from time to time when I am in a hurry!

My continuing survey of greater Decatur coffee spots. Very good. $2.75 med. cup. Low key to-go set-up. Nice service.

Visiting this Coffee shop was the best decision I've made today. I was able to get my favorite coffee perfect for the nice weather. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. I am deeply impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. No hidden charges compared to others! Splendid!

Excellent service! The drink selection is great, and they have some scrumptious pastries as well. The raspberry cream cheese danish was as delightful as the bran muffin. We have been regularly walking there with our pup and enjoying the outdoor seating with our coffee and tea.

I went in on a Sunday afternoon. The place had people, but was not packed to the point of being uncomfortable. All the staff were friendly, and the music selection was good if you like Amy Winehouse, Florence and the Machine, Gym Class Heroes etc haha. Most people were on their laptops, per usual for most coffee shops. The crowd was mid to late 20s, but some variation. I got a chai tea latte, which was lovely!! It was nice and smooth, and a good size. It was served in an actual cup, which was cute haha. There were also places to sit outside!!

Good coffee and environment. I have had the latte and sourdough muffin, both of which are awesome. If you're looking for a cup of coffee and want to get some work done or relax, this is your spot. It will get crowded so I suggest getting there early in the mornings.

I really like this comfy neighborhood coffee house. My bestie and I stopped in yesterday to refuel before taking our drive home after sharing a bottle of wine at her shop. I tried the beerspresso and paired it with a pecan pastry and it was perfect together! The beerspresso was smooth and refreshing; just what I needed.

Taproom is my favorite go to spot, the staff here is so excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. The drinks are always delicious! They have inside seating as well as multiple tables set up outside. Make sure to bring a mask while ordering. Pictured: pour over coffee

The weather was great, and the place has plenty of outdoor seating. The cappuccino was very good, as was the blueberry muffin. Staff is nice too. Bike parking outside :) Great way to spend a Sunday morning!

This multi-roaster specialty cafe has a lot going for it: ample indoor and outdoor seating; coffee from some of the best roasters in Atlanta (e.g. East Pole) and the USA (e.g. Black and White), as well as upcoming Decatur roaster Opo; easy street parking; Wi-fi; and a good range of espresso, drip and pour over options. Why 4 stars then? There were a few shortcomings. Even though they're allowing dine-in, they refused to serve coffee in the mugs sitting on top of their espresso machine and instead serve hot coffee in their to-go paper cups. Not only is drinking out of paper a less pleasant experience, it is also more wasteful. Secondly, while they had a pretty good range of coffee from three roasters, the prices are high - indeed the prices of coffee from Black and White were about 20% higher than buying from Black and White directly. Given Black and White offer free shipping on orders above $25, this means that the coffee is not only less fresh from Taproom, its also more expensive. Finally, the drip is served burn-your-tongue-hot, which either indicates that they're expecting most people to throw cold milk into it, or they're not paying attention to appropriate serving temperature for specialty coffee. All-in-all - 4 stars - its definitely significantly above 3 star cafes around town, but isn't up there with the-best-of-the-best in Atlanta.

Taproom could be very nice, but the atmosphere is marred by the presence of numerous flies - fruit flies - that flit endlessly as one is trying to work. Addressing that problem would be a great way to start improving Taproom.

Love stopping by Taproom on my morning walks with my pup. The cold brew and raspberry cheese danishes are perfection! Kirkwood favorite!

I’ve been a regular at Taproom from their start and have watched them grow into who they are today! They always have great staff, I enjoy using the app as a pick up option, I enjoy their guest roasters and how involved they are in the community. I appreciate the owners passion to treat his staff well, to value them. And on top of it all, their coffee is why I’m a regular!

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Their coffee and tea are always great and the service is the wonderful. They host cool events for families like cookie decorating during the holidays. And, they have occasional zero proof cocktail nights. Taproom is a neighborhood gem.

Excellent tasting lattes, and very friendly service. I would highly recommend, if you have a meeting or need a place to work for a few hours. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Definitely adding it to my bookmarks.

I studied here throughout my law school finals. The staff recognized me and always provided helpful recommendations. There is also a punch card system, which is always a plus. Oh, and there are always a nice share of dog owners stopping by, so plenty of dopamine there too.

Our daily coffee stop! So good and the staff are friendly and wonderful. Even if I didn’t stop here, my dog would drag me in anyway because he knows there’s a treat waiting for him.

Some of the kindest service I’ve received in a long time!! Lovely baristas!! And amazing coffee and pastries. I love working remotely here! The whole experience is so cozy and comforting.

The coffee here is fantastic, and the chai especially was delicious. The service and atmosphere here is excellent. The barista, Josh, had some great recommendations for other things to do in the area. And Maggie was so nice and did a phenomenal job making our drinks.

The service I received here was really great. Not being a heavy coffee drinker, the cashier explained to me the types of coffee they served and gave taste tests in a way that was informative and unrushed, leaving me to feel genuinely cared for. Our group stayed after closing time by a few minutes but they were extremely polite in waiting on us, in addition to serving amazing coffee. Very enjoyable experience.

Always excellent and fast service for this lil coffee shop! The nitro cold brew is on point! This is a must try! One of the best, if you ask me. Strong coffee with a smooth flavor. Truly a great find in this community and will be coming back soon for more!

Just thinking about the iced americano and perfect service I received last week at Taproom. I cannot wait to go back. Every one of my experiences at Taproom have been exceptional. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the quality of the products most of all. A+++. Would recommend for coffee or beer or cool place to work in kirkwood. They have bomb (i.e. good) quiche too. Highly recommend all around. A great small business!

I work in healthcare. A friend of mine sent me an online gift certificate for this business so that I would be able to get coffee during this pandemic. Turns out, they are not honoring these gift certificates. They said it's because it doesn't interface with whatever app they are using. One time the worker just typed in the gift certificate number and I was able to get my coffee.... Now they say there is nothing they can do and just kept repeating how unfortunate it is. Very disappointed that they will not honor this gift card that my friend already spent money on. I would have thought you were Better than this tap room. Very unfortunate

Always delicious, flavorful, strong coffee. Great service and they have set up a convenient curbside pick up service during the pandemic. Glad they can keep going! Taproom is apart of the neighborhood and we don't want to lose them! Also, they had Sun in My Belly biscuits on the menu today. Delish!

Taproom Coffee Is a really pleasant coffee shop that has a small selection of beers available. Located at the Kirkwood they do offer some pastries and other snacks to dine on. The coffee shop is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops and the staff was friendly as well. Only major downside is minimal parking and if you go later in the day there are typically less bakery items available. However, that is to be expected.

Baristas are always on top of it. Great coffee, they actually care about their presentation, and they serve espresso like the Italians with sparkling water on the side. Great shop all together, but it's usually pretty full inside.

Enjoyable cafe with interesting beers. They let you taste test before committing to one ~ theres a lot of tables for patrons to sit. I didn't see too many outlets though. Parking is in the street and it's parallel parking.

Just came here for the first time and it is a very nice and cute coffee shop. It is on the strip so you do have to find street parking. The employees were very nice and friendly!
