Absolutely horrible practice! If you can..find someplace else. The patient experience is terrible, unprofessional, borderline rude. But more importantly they let things slip through the cracks all the time. My delivery with them was so terrible I seriously considered a lawsuit because of the complete lack of care which led to a complication. With 20+ midwives and doctors you never see the same person twice and I never saw my actual doctor during my pregnancy. You would think with this set up they would check your history but they dont...they only ever look at today's appointment. So if you have something ongoing in your pregnancy you better speak up every time because no one here is paying attention. They almost prescribed me the wrong thing until I mentioned something that should've been in a chart they were reviewing when writing the prescription. There are so many other things they are letting slip. Bottom line ...find someplace else!

I had several bad office related experiences here (forgetting to tell me I needed a biopsy until I was already in the office, waiting over an hour to be taken back to the doctor). My last experience was truly upsetting because: 1- a doctor I'd never met before, and who I didn't have an appointment with, came into the room to conduct my annual exam. When I asked where my doctor was she said "I don't think she's in this office today" even though I had an appointment with her and saw her for 7 years. 2 - that doctor wrote a mammogram script that was inaccurate and caused me to wait hours at the hospital for an accurate order. I loved Dr. Loehle as my doctor for 7 years but the office staff has no respect for the patients and you can't just send a stranger in with no warning when a patient is naked and in stirrups... you also have to get the mammogram orders right if they are being done elsewhere.

I was absolutely delighted with this office. Every step of my pregnancy I felt I was treated with care and respect and in good hands. I really loved the girls who had to take my blood monthly as well as the nurses who took my blood pressure each visit. The women who greeted me at the office were always pleasant and were efficient at answering phone calls and my questions each time. Where I was most impressed was how the doctors and midwives gave me choices regarding my VBAC experience as well as their honest opinions on the safest thing for me to do. They were there every step of the way to guide me in a kind manner and when it came time to go through with the scheduled csection I felt they were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Loehle really took the time to speak with my husband and I before the procedure and genuinely seemed excited for us when baby girl was born. She also did a great incision which all the nurses caring for me commented on. I felt I was in great hands every step of the way. Thank you so much Atlanta OBGYN!

Dr.Basil is great! He’s a knowledgeable, honest, invested, and a comforting provider. He is just always running late, but that’s ok because he gives great quality care and doesn’t rush you as a patient.

Went in here for confirmation. Everyone was super nice except for this one nurse during the ultra sound. I asked only two questions. 1) what does the yolk do and 2) is the whole sack part of the baby. I understand those might be dumb questions regarding to female anatomy. She just sighed and went over everything while pretty much talking down to us and finished with “this is female anatomy 101.” Ok ma’am am engineer and I would never talk down to anyone outside of my specialization like that much less a client.

I had a VBAC with OBGYN of Atlanta and can't say enough positive things about my experience with this practice. After an emergency c-section with my first, I was certain I wanted to VBAC with my second delivery. I was with another practice and switched to this one after feeling like I might not have the best care with the previous practice. Not only did they get me in right away (with an ultrasound that the other practice wouldn't do), but they immediately and consistently addressed my concerns about having another c-section throughout the course of my pregnancy. We talked about a VBAC at almost all my appointments, and kept discussing whether it was a realistic goal at every point in my pregnancy. When I did go into labor, Mitra and Claire really worked with me to make my hopes of a VBAC possible. My labor stalled after my water broke, and they were honest about my chances of having a c-section, and what I could do to try to get labor to progress again. Fortunately their suggestions worked, and we were able to do a successful VBAC. Not every birth goes as planned, but this practice really excelled at listening to my concerns and working with me and my husband to have the birth experience I wanted. I'll always appreciate how they handled my care.

I absolutely love Claire!! She really listens and always has great feedback and options for you. I never feel rushed and she answers all my questions as a new mom. My BF loves that she talks to him too and not just me! So grateful I found her! Also wait time is never more than 5-10 mins. The only bad part is if you call in to speak to a nurse it can be from any location and they don’t necessarily hear you out or call you back. All the ultrasound techs are great too, especially Cassie. They switched to a new portal which is easy to access and comes with notes.

I have been with this practice for over twenty years. My daughters are now patients of Dr. Wooten. Dr. Wooten is a wonderful OBGYN. He takes time to listen to you & is very caring. I trust him implicitly with all female needs. My only complaint would be that sometimes they do not return phone calls when you have asked for a return call. Otherwise this practice is one of the best in Atlanta.

I had switched over from a previous clinic that didn’t take my pregnancy concerns serious and not get my prescription send to my pharmacy and kept forgetting to do so when I would keep asking about it. Had a hard time trying to get them to fax as well until Obstetrics and Gynecology of Atlanta staff helped me and got all my medical records to be released and got booked within the same week. I came prepared to ask any questions I have had in mind , most of my questions were answered before I had asked. They are very well above informative. I did my research on a couple Obgyn clinics before choosing one and I’m very happy and satisfied knowing that I’m in good hands. 10/5 🤩

Dr. Wooten is the best and he’s the only reason I kept going back. But yesterday was my last visit with this practice. I called to schedule a GYN appointment they sent me to the nurse line…the nurses never answer and when they return your call and you happen to miss it they never leave an extension so you have to call back all over again and go through the same process for waiting for a call back which sometimes isn’t until the next day. I called back to ask to speak to the clinical manager and she was supposed to add me to Dr.Fairbrothers schedule for 3:30..I show up at 3:00 and get told I wasn’t on the schedule and they don’t know who I talked to because there was no note…The front desk went back and asked a midwife would she see me anyway and she did. Which was fine I go to check out and pay because I am self pay and have been since 2020 with no issues…I leave and get a call from the front desk stating “I let you slip without paying the full amount I didn’t know you were getting cultures, I need you to add a card on file so we can bill you for the remaining $400 or we will throw your specimens away” I told her fine but I was driving and to give me a call back in 40 mins when I get home to look at my card (SINCE NO ONE HAS an EXT) … she states “I will be gone by then but I will try back in a few” No one ever called back and this whole encounter was it for me. The providers are great but the new staff possibly came from a temp service all the way down to the practice manager.

The medical professionals are great. They take time to answer any questions and all the treatments I’ve had are successful so far. The administrative staff is very diligent. The only problem is that their email system sometime breaks and they were changing their billing system or something that don’t allow them to connect with the billing system of the lab.

All of the staff that I’ve encountered are great. They are pretty efficient with getting patients to their appointments in a timely manner. My midwife Laura is great and makes me feel at ease considering this is my 1st pregnancy. I found them through my insurance and am glad I found a place that I can trust to take care of me during my pregnancy.

Dr. Jennifer Loehle ALWAYS takes her time to discuss things with me. I have never felt rushed or misinformed at any visit. So happy to have such an amazing doctor. Thankful

Dr. Sharon is perhaps my favorite physician, and I have seen many for complex health issues. I highly recommend him specifically. He is caring, knowledgeable and very respectful. When I needed a Cesarean delivery in 2012, the hospital staff reassured me enthusiastically about his surgical skills, and all went very well. I'd not had the best experience with another physician from the practice during multiple days of induction. Dr. Sharon is the best, 5 stars for Dr. Sharon.

Front of the house and medical staff were friendly and professional. I was called back quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all for my mammogram or my appointment with the doctor. I’ve been going to Dr. Parker for years now and cannot say enough good things about her. She’s very thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend her and the staff.

Love this practice! Everyone is so nice and my care here has been excellent! I started in this practice pregnant and they rocked! I felt so nurtured and at ease because I knew they were taking care of me. I also love that they do mammograms at the clinic, a bonus! Thank you staff and Dr Bassil!

My recent visit here was great, as always. I have been seeing Dr. Parker for over 20 years, and the experience is always excellent! I accidentally arrived 30 minutes early this time, and they were able to take me early anyways! What great customer service!

I have been going here for awhile now and have seen a few Dr's in this practice. My most recent visit was very disappointing, it felt like a wham bam thank you ma'am! No elaboration or discussion regarding a bilateral screening and ultrasound that cost me almost a $1,000 out of pocket, when I could of just had my annual screening for which I had been overdue for first to see what that determined, if anything! $900 later and still no answers as to why my breasts were swollen and sore. SMH. Very disappointing.

Dr. Sharon has been my Doctor since 2007. I have moved to different areas and I always go to see him no matter how far he is at. He is the best doctor. He listens to you, cares about you and he is very good at his job. I’ll recommend him to any woman who is looking for a great doctor

I have trusted OBGYN of Atlanta for the last 30 years. Dr Thomas Sharon is so knowledgeable and friendly. I feel so fortunate to call him my Doctor! I would recommend this practice to everyone! My daughter gave birth 2 years ago to my adorable grandson. She had an awesome experience too!

Dr. Parker is thorough, knowledgeable and professional as a obgyn. She expertly took the time needed to exam and explain healthy options for me. Her bedside manners are impeccable and I appreciate how she cares about me.

I had a pretty rough pregnancy, and decided to change providers at 22 weeks and am so glad that I did! Driving the hour was completely worth it. They actually listen to you here and take care of you. The midwife Molly Jobe delivered my baby and she made my experience one that I will never forget. She made me happy and comfortable when it felt like no one could. Even postpartum she is continuing to take care of me. I would highly recommend her for anyone starting the journey. I will forever be grateful for her and will continue making the drive just for her!

I went to this location for my OB appointments for both of my pregnancies in 2021 and 2023. Overall, I had a pretty good experience and would come here again for my third. On a busy day, it can take a while to be seen but I feel that most of the providers take the time to listen and answer my questions.

I've been seeing Dr Fairbrother for 25 years. Never once have I felt rushed and she always answers all my questions, silly or not. The office staff is nice and the waits are doable.

I have been going to this doctors office since 2013/14. They have been honest with me through many phases of life; in sickness and in health. I highly recommend Dr. Fairbrother, but they are all kind and helpful docs. I started going to them as a young single female because I knew one day I would want to have kids. I have known several people to also be patients of this office. This office is not just for people who are pregnant or who may become pregnant. Think about your life and chose a doctor who is going to help you along that path. OBGYN of Atlanta will help you no matter what you envision for your life.

I have always raved about this practice and the doctors. But with my recent miscarriage they have made me feel awful. Starting with finding out the pregnancy was not developing - I was told it was a sac and no baby. I asked what we needed to do to get rid of the non-viable pregnancy and was told this office does not do abortions. I was very confused and caught off guard as I didn’t have a baby inside of me and only had an empty sac and no fetal pole or yolk. Now a doctor has asked that I follow my beta to zero and the office cannot find my labs or provide any answers. They also won’t schedule my next appt until my results come back yet I still don’t have results from my last test. I was also told I’ll struggle having a baby yet this office is not working hard to ensure accuracy. I am a working mom also missing time away from the office.

Have been very happy with my care at OB/Gyn of Atlanta. It's a large office, but I've met lots of the doctors and had good experiences all around.

  • 1/5 K W. 2 years ago on Google
Even though I had one of the first appointments of the morning, after waiting an hour, I finally asked what the hold up was and how much longer it would be. I was told it would be AT LEAST another 30 minutes. The doctor I was seeing was not on call that morning. I was told the delay was due to other patients requiring extra time. I should've been told how behind the doctor was running and given a chance to leave BEFORE I finally asked. They were just going to let me sit there! An hour and a half minimum...that's beyond ridiculous and disrespectful of my time. I immediately found another practice and so far, could not be happier.

Hands down, the best office I've visited. Dr. Jennings was super sweet and answered all of my questions, and I'd never had such a smooth experience with IUD replacement.

I’ve been going to the OBGYN of Atlanta for the past year and a half now. If you’re looking for a great, friendly, knowledgeable staff, then this place is for you. I absolutely love going there for my prenatal visits. The midwives are so awesome and always answer my questions. I remember going there when I was first pregnant. To say that I was terrified was an understatement. I had never been pregnant before and I had so many questions. The awesome staff were extremely understanding and walked me through EVERYTHING!! I highly recommend this practice.

I delivered my first child with this office. I have rotated with all the providers here during my pregnancy since you never know when you are going to go into labor and who will be on call at the time. I feel like I have met 2/3 of them including the midwives. I have been overall very happy with this office. Professional front desk (who are great at remembering your name), extremely clean office (very important to me), awesome nurses (who are very good at drawing blood), caring doctors and midwives (with one exception-one midwife I was not fond of and glad she was not on call when I went into labor). Dr. Parker is my favorite and gets 5 Stars from me! The only negatives I can think of besides that one midwife is: 1) I did get a potentially (I hate to call it this but cant think of any other superficial reason) racist vibe from the red head checkout person, but you wont always get her. 2) I do wish they had an online portal so I can make appointments and access my records anytime I want. With such a large 3-location office, I would think they have the money to invest in something like that. 3) the parking situation!! I racked up over $100 in parking fees for all my pre and post natal appointments. If I switch providers, it would be for this reason only. I also see a different kind of provider in this same building complex, and at least they help me out with paying for some of my parking fee every visit.

Great atmosphere, very organized, step by step appointment. Definitely made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m confident I made the right choice choosing OBGYN of Atlanta as my provider. The book they provided is also an easy and nice read for new moms. Would highly recommend them any moms. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I began visiting Ob/Gyn of Atlanta based on a good friend's recommendation. I'm so glad that I did! From day one until now, 5 years after my daughter was born, I have been completely satisfied. All of the staff have been professional, kind & skilled. I loved having a midwife help me through my 31 hours of labor. Dr. Bassil was amazing in surgery & since then I've been seeing him for my annual visits. I feel like I've received the best possible care here & will always recommend this practice.

I can't give this group enough praise! They delivered my first child in 2018 and will be delivering number 2 this year. They are always on top of things and every doctor and midwife is amazing. a couple weeks ago, I was in for some prenatal bloodwork and Laura, one of the midwives, saw me waiting and even though i was not there to see her, she sat down next to me to see how I was feeling, and after discovering some struggles, she went to get me samples and prescribed something to help. THAT is true patient care, not about the money. I was already impressed with this practice but after that there's no question about superiority in this field. No matter the time of day, if you have a medical need to speak to someone, someone is always available. They encourage patients to call with any questions, so they do not seem annoyed when you do call. Really everything you could want in an OBGYN. They truly care.

This is the best practice in Atlanta! It is one of the few places you can get a mammogram and doctors visit at a one stop shop. The doctors here are wonderful as well as the entire staff. I moved across town and still make the drive because it is far superior to anywhere else.

I have been going to Ob/gyn of Atlanta for many years. My mom and sister went to them as well. My first doctor there felt a lump in my breast that I didn't feel - I was 29 years old. Being was so young, I had not started doing my own exams. It was malignant, but we caught it early and took the necessary steps and I'll forever be grateful to my doctor. . Many years later, I now see Dr. Fairbrother and I LOVE her. She tells it like it is and really listens to her patients. The fact that the practice is affiliated with Northside Hospital is another huge advantage - they are one of the best in Atlanta.

Staff is great, doctors and midwives are great. My only complaint is after my appt last week I wasn’t aware they were sending my RX to a mail in delivery pharmacy called Get Well. I was under the impression it would go to my pharmacy that I listed. It’s been a week now and I still don’t have my medication. The mail in pharmacy isn’t an easy process, it’s been a lot of back and forth confirming this and that, then waiting for delivery. This is unacceptable to say the least.

I am beginning my first pregnancy journey and last week was my first time in OBGYN of Atlanta’s office. They were super quick, even got me in before my actual appointment time. Everyone was so kind even if they were just passing us in the hallway. They are already making this first pregnancy amazing! I would strongly suggest this office to anyone expecting!

This is my third visit with this practice. I waited and hour and 10 minutes past my appointment time part of which was sitting naked in the exam room. I have attempted to get the MD to call me to talk about my lack of progress in prescribed treatment twice with no returned phone call. They do not have a portal with which to communicate. The MD dud expressed sincere apologies for my experience and provided me with direct emails to communicate, which I appreciated.

  • 5/5 Giovanna R. 2 years ago on Google
This has been the best MD experience I have had in long time. The staff was amazing from check-in to discharge. Kind courteous Physicians as well as the Physician "Extenders" (RN, PA, NP) - I was having a pretty intense issue and they treated me with respect and courtesy. It's not just for pregnant woman - it's for everyone. I saw Dr. Sharon - he is a straight shooter and excellent. I have definitely found the practice I will use for the foreseeable future.

Honestly, the staff is truly amazing! They’re so kind, sweet, and so caring. I never been to a place where they show so much compassion to their patients. I truly love the environment. I love how the midwife take their time to go over stuff with you and make sure you understand every details. They go above and beyond always ❤️

Dr. Christopher Bassil and his staff are absolutely amazing. He is so passionate about taking care of his patient's. You may have a little bit of a wait some days but that is because he takes his time and explains everything in detail, so my visits are worth the wait for the care that I receive. I highly recommend Dr. Bassil to anyone looking for a truly amazing doctor!! He is the best.
