This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The pictures online make it look nice, but let me tell you, it is disgusting inside. The rooms are tiny. Our room didn't have a TV remote. The TV quality was awful. The AC wouldn't work. The door didn't shut right. The room was dirty. There was hair in the shower. It smelled gross. Lucky for us it was raining. We didn't bring anything inside at first because it was going to stop raining shortly after we arrived, so we figured we would wait it out. In the meantime, an emergency alarm went off and scared my toddler. She screamed until we got in the car, and she cried that she didn't want to go back. At that point, my husband went inside to let them know we were leaving and ask for a refund. The desk clerk said we would receive a refund, but that was apparently a lie. I tried calling multiple times and haven't gotten an answer. My daughter is still fretting about the alarm days later. We spent maybe an hour at this place and it was one of the worst hours of my life. Stay FAR away. We went to Showboat and practically kissed the ground when we got there. My daughter called it the "safe hotel" and Madison was the "bad place". From the mouth of babes, there ya have it.

The hotel was a huge disappointment. Photos online were very misleading and I have no idea how this place had a 4 star rating!! We paid $1,000 for the weekend and had to pay an additional $80 to park for the weekend in a parking lot where people party, huff balloons, urinate, and sleep in vehicles. There was garbage everywhere in the parking lot. The room was undesirable. We had to shower in ankle deep water because the shower didn't drain properly. The sink also didn't drain properly. Washcloths and towels were old and nasty. We spent as little time as possible in the room.

There are bums and drunks in the front of the building hanging out...some glass was missing from the door frame. The entrance doesn't look inviting. Though the lobby looks updated and clean, unfortunately the rooms aren't. They have modern photos on the wall but the curtains and furniture need to be replaced and carpeting need to be deep cleaned or replaced. It looked like an attempted upgrade but definitely cutting some corners. The so called parking lot look sketchy....not affiliated with the hotel but the only convenient spot...there's a man who has a hand held machine that can swipe your card to pay for the parking but he was there sometimes and there is a machine but exact money only it doesn't give change back. Definitely a place with some potential if the owners would invest their money to really spruce it up.

DONT DO It!!!!!!!Worst experience ever. I barely slept. Honestly the hotel should be closed. You diffently will not get what you paid for. There was no breakfast, no discount for parking, shower was broke after the second day, it only had hot water, the room shown in the picture I was like where the heck was that. There was however plenty or roaches which I saw on the second day ,black bugs around the fridge which blended in, dirty floors, dirty furniture. I am ashamed of myself for staying but my kids got really upset when I said we were leaving. We stayed 3 nights. 4 days after the stay II am still itching I can't bathe enough to get this off of me. Brought my things in the house one at a time and still managed to bring a roach in my home.

Terrible hotel! In the process now of filling a BBB complaint and pursuing ligation for a refund I have still not recieved. Our first room was so small and with a very foul smell we requested a different room that had space. When we entered the next room we looked at the sheets and there were bed bugs on them took pictures and showed the desk clerk and requested to end stay at that point. Had booked a three night stay only stayed an hour was charged 1 day was supposed to get refunded two days as per receipt I was given never received refund. Emailed the Gmail account and was told upper management had to approve my refund. They have not returned an email since.

First off, the moment I arrived I was told that the last functional elevator was now broken. When I got to my room, there were burn holes on the curtains, bed sheets, and pillows. We were only given one set of bath towels so I requested some more and was given face towels instead. The toilet seat was stained and rusted along with the windowsill. It was not worth the money spent.

Will NEVER stay here again. Booked a room randomly from booking.com and it had 4 stars on their site. I was very disappointed. It just wasnt what i expected. It looked and felt like i was staying in a homeless shelter. The shower knob came off. Water came out the faucet brown. Shower stopped up. The sofa had a stain and looked old . I refused to sit on it. This is an old low budget hotel. Only good thing is the access to board walk and staff was nice and friendly.

I mean if you just need a place to sleep and shower for a cheap price. this is it. Yes they had random people always hanging outside but for the most part everyone was nice and didn’t bother us much. The rooms we had were way bigger than expected so that was a plus! Decor and cleanliness wise it wasn’t amazing but again, if you just need the basics then you can make it work. Parking was kind of annoying because we had to pay at the lot next door but it was 40 for the weekend. But it was right next to the beach and the board walk which gave it another star for me.

Bed bug infestation. Couldn't get a refund and they dont respond to any complaints. Don't waste your time or money going here. My back and legs were covered with bites.

This hotel is terrible! The AC in our room didn't work, when we were given "fresh" towels they had black hairs all throughout them, the floors were disgusting, there were holes all over the bathroom wall that were stuffed with tiny pieces of toilet paper, and we saw multiple cocktail roaches. Not to mention the hallways recked of Marijuana smoke. Once we saw the cockroaches we packed our bags and left leaving a night earlier then expected, I am awaiting a call back from the manager to discuss getting a refund.
