I was scammed out of $143 by Sunny the manager! I had booked a room last Friday night as I was in town to see the Ron White show. Well, the show was rescheduled due to someone on his tour having Covid, so I called very early the morning of to see if there was anything I could do to either get a refund or have my stay moved to Wednesday the 22nd when it was being rescheduled to. I understood that they didn’t necessarily have to refund me since it was the day of, but Sunny decided to be nice and said if I emailed him stating the situation he would give me a full refund anyway (cool!). I very explicitly told Sunny over the phone that if he was not able to issue a refund or change the date, I understood and we would just go to the hotel that night anyway and still enjoy a Friday night out in AC. He said he’d be able to issue the refund though so we opted not to do that... Well, the following day when I heard nothing back I had called Sunny and he said I needed to send him a COVID report. I then explained to him exactly what I had detailed multiple times over the phone the previous day, I cannot send him a positive COVID test as I do not have COVID, it was the performer who had it… He then tells me I’m unable to get a refund as he previously told me I would, and could not even accommodate a reschedule date, which went completely against what he told me previously. I genuinely believe Sunny just misunderstood me the previous day due to a language barrier and he thought I had COVID, but it’s absolutely inexcusable to go against your word and not refund me or accommodate me for what was a mistake me on YOUR PART. We would have just gone to the hotel Friday night if we were told we weren’t getting refunded, but instead we took your word as truth and got scammed. Steer clear of this hotel!

My boyfriend stayed here a couple nights ago. After reading all the reviews he was extremely hesitant but it was the cheapest close to the beach. When he arrived everything went smooth the entire time. His room was completely clean. It looked freshly remodeled honestly. All new furniture and clean white sheets. Definitely recommend! AND WE HAVE PICTURES!

+the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it was horrible it was ridiculous to pay a cent even for free. The carpet smell moister and was wet , dirty bathroom toilet did not work propetly and wost it was blocked no cheat can be flushed . The fluch toilet water system belong to the 19th centry. Nothing was good except the location close to the beach. The safety it's subject matter. No safety any one can take the stairs from the back and force to enter to the room when you sleep during the night or when lieve the room you go outside. Even you stay for long time no one will change you bet sheet or fresh towel. This hotel need to be demoliered . I have nothing positive to say about. Don't waste your money add 100$ / 200$ to reward your vacation instead of stayong there

This motel inn was the worst hotel motel holiday Inn I have ever been to. The motel lobby stunk horrifically. I couldn't stand the smell. I waited outside. We paid $306.66 for an unkempt room that had red and brown stains on the sheets and blankets. The table was filthy. The pillowcases were dirty. The walls were all scratched up. The only thing that was decent was the television. We didn't even stay. We signed out. I would never go back there again and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there either. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! You could tell the staff don't care about keeping the place clean. They are just there for a paycheck. Never mind making visitors feel welcomed and at least comfortable during their stay.

There was bed bugs in room 411 2nd bed from the door woke up to bed bugs crawling around pillows bite marks on my back no room service (no cleaning of room or changing of wash rags and towels) no breakfast wash towel has hair on them definitely has cigarette oder in the room and hallway

I've stayed here numerous occasions and felt like home, because Sharif made me feel welcome he is a good Host anything you need he doesn't hesitate to get for you Sharif makes sure your room is nice and clean and supplied with everything you need I've been to other places in the past but have never felt this warm and cozy

DO NOT STAY HERE! I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is horrible. It was so bad I checked out within 20 minutes of checking in. Room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom reminded me of a rest stop restroom. The front desk attendant was rude and had no type of good customer service. I did not feel safe in the room. Between the nastiness conditions and not feeling safe, I couldn't stay. The cost rate of the room should be $55 per night. Smh

This was truly a horrible visit . Me and my boyfriend stay at many hotels in the city but damn this was just so bad I had to come here and tell yaw. They were so rude . We stayed for 3 days , and each day they were rude about switching to cleaner towels .. I thought that was weird.. the man was even yelling at me when I’ve been nothing but pleasant but by the end of the stay , I had to get outta character . There was straight strands of hair EVERYWHERE ! My hair is literally like 1 inch out of my scalp 😕😕 there was poop on the toilet bowl .. the carpet smelled like straight wet dog , it’s so damn small in there like they cramped everything into one .. And we noticed how empty all the rooms were on every floor . Ask yourself , if this is a cheap room , why are all the rooms so empty ? Because the service SUCKS .. it’s like they don’t want customers or money 😂 There’s a short u g l y man who stalked us during check out . Charged us $20 for leaving at 11:30 but was upset that we went to our friends room upstairs that was under our name lmao like what ?! Message to owner — DO BETTER ! This was utterly disgusting from the door to the exit ! Learn how to talk to people !!! Because we didn’t even do anything ? They made several problems out of nothing !!! I’m truly disgusted because my 3 year old was with us . Smhhh Also , keep your kids from the rails , super unsafe ! NEVER COMING BACK SO DONT WORRY !!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY. I spent $300 for this room on a Saturday, me and my boyfriend are from Michigan. As soon as I got the room the gentleman running the hotel told me if I was to leave my room again he was kicking us out. and all I was doing was going to get dinner with my boyfriend. The housekeepers were going in my room stealing my belongings every time I would leave. I felt the most unsafe I ever have in my life staying at this hotel. It should be shut down. Not to mention he made me park my car on the other side of the hotel, where I could not see it. WORST PLACE EVER ! STAY AWAY AND GO TO A CASINO HOTEL. NOT SAFE

Hi my family and I stay in this hotel. For 2 nights hell. The hotel is very dirty. All kinds of bugs flying in room. Bath was dirty and water running from behind the toilet and the tub was dirty. Spots on the seat. Bathroom wall had a hole in it . Towels and washcloths stains. I will never stay here again!!! Look like the hotel had water damage . The sheets on the bed felt moist and damp. The TV remote with sticky . The wall was swelled up. The bed was disconnected from the head broad. Our stay was just horrible .we stayed in another hotel real Keep from going back to hotel. The hotel is not even worth a dollar a night. My family and I was so happy when it was time to leave!!

Terrible service, Terrible rooms and they charge a fee per night to park!!! The front desk person is absolutely awful and rude. Never again!!! Not worth thr $358 for 2 nights. I wish management would give me a call. Dear "hotel manager", if you truly cared you would have done something a long time ago since it seems that there are plenty bad reviews saying the same thing. Im pretty sure you are the same RUDE front desk person.. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Rented here, front desk attendant did not get his name was very rude a overall a hole, later on in the night we open our mini fridge to discover a heroin needle still full of heroin inside the fridge dead Center goes to show that no one in this establishment cares about who they rent to or how they clean the rooms would never come into this establishment don’t even look here to try and get a room, then the room itself. The paint on the wall has water stains. There’s mold in the corners this place was horrible.

3/28/23 I give them less than a 1 star more like a negative -100 DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION Completely a waste or time and money regardless of your economic standpoint. I made a reservation through choice rewards. They accepted my reservation and took the money our if my account moments after I made my reservation which wasn't supposed to happen until CHECK IN they illegally checked me into the hotel without me being at the property . And calld them they don't answer my direct number only when I call from other numbers do they respond I personally should've never have made a choice to try and stay at the property but it was a last minute decision. I remembered after making a reservation that I had stayed here prior and they had BED BUGS n I took a photo and showed the manager. So could be a personal attack on me . Pls do not stay at this property if u have any self respect and value spend your money else where !!!!!! I still haven't heard back from there general manager.

It is close to everything. The bus system stops by close, the halls stink, the room stinks, trash under the bed, dirty doors, broken lock, rude manager. If I could give it a quarter of a star I would.

This hotel was dirty and smelly…. When I booked the room I asked for a smoking room when I got there they told me didn’t have a smoking room…. And they charge $20 a day to park your car on their property….. and they don’t send housekeeping to clean your room if you’re not check it out…. No fresh towels no fresh rags …. The worst experience ever

I would give a 0 star if i could. The rooms looked nothing as advertised and were extremely dirty. The carpet was wet and had a disgusting smell coming from it. Worst part of it all was the customer service. I went down to the front desk to talk about the room and the guy was very hostile and was cursing out me and my family members. Don’t waste your time coming to this hotel it’s a scam.

There were brownish stains under the sheets. We were given the wrong key card at first. The bathroom was old and dirty. Worst of all I felt an intense burning pain on foot when I moved my foot in bed and was thinking it could be a needle but did not see one but I still cannot be 100% sure there was not a needle especially since I saw a mark on my foot in the spot where I felt the pain but not sure if it was there before I went in the bed. You would be better off sleeping on the beach than here. Look elsewhere!

This hotel is not clean at from the outside to the lobby. That was the furthest I went after just seeing that mess . Roadway Inn charged my card before I stayed on there property and I demand a refund. While waiting my refund another guest came down complaining of the bugs in here room and her bathroom was filthy and she wants a refund also. This hotel needs a major overhaul inside and out. Avoid this Hotel

Sharif is great at the front desk and takes care of whatever you need. I stay here many times and makes sure everything good, the weather is good and nice and there is no issues. I will come back.

I was not able to stay there I made a reservation online it says that I pay when I arrive at the hotel the morning of my stay they harassed me all morning for the money. I have my card blocked until I use it. I called them and the guy got smart and said pay now or your reservation will be canceled. I don't do things over the phone and I told the guy that online it says I don't pay until I get there I always come here and never had to pay before. He told me that is not how we work and you pay now or your reservation is canceled. I ask to speak to the manager he said he was the manager. He was so ignorant I didn't wanna spend my money there nomore. I will never go there again. Roberta Smith.

Hotel rooms are now fully renovated . Look awesome. Service was good. I specially want to give thanks front desk guy (Sharif) . He was very nice and helpful with me. I would like to go again.
