Nice peaceful local park. Just wish there was a little more to do. Maybe a playground or something. But it’s great for a nice little stroll or picnic!

This place is located in Glenside, Montgomery County on Church Road and Greenwood Avenue. You fan access it from Church Road. They have a dog walking park located down the hill near the ponds. I was here in early spring so not a whole lot of blooming yet. It's a great place to relax and sit on a bench enjoying the fresh air and nature. Would be a good place for a power walk or a jog as the paved road traverses a hillside. You could get a cardio workout here for sure. Will update soon to check out what flower tyoes bloom here.

Curtis Arboretum was the first place I visited with my future husband. I was looking for a venue that was whimsical, natural, yet could deliver upscale glamorous vibes, had outdoor wedding charm but also indoor space for an equally stunning potential rain plan and most importantly ,overall ,would give me bang for my buck. I looked at various options online and visited several in person with my fiance and Curtis Arboretum is where we happily landed. The ceremony site gives me fairy princess whimsy, the partially clear tent provides for natural light in the day, stargazing opportunities at night and rain coverage if needed. The ballroom delivers old world charm with hand-painted grandiose wall that trumpet sound "Bridgerton this is your Diamond of the season" and the ceilings are fit for a royal ball. This place aesthetically is my compiled wedding dreams come true and it could be yours. Getting married can be pricey if you're doing so with a large guest count but I feel their cost is better or fair value as far as weddings go these days and they provide all the "bells and whistles" or upgrades for a reasonable fee making it affordable if you plan properly financially. Our wedding is happening in 3 weeks, so I will update post wedding bliss!

Beautiful surroundings....benches so sit and relax. Have a picnic or go for a nice walk. Great place to spot some turtles! We saw lots of turtles, frogs, a snake and more. We even saw a giant snapping turtle come up for air!

Curtis Hall is a gorgeous wedding venue. So gorgeous that my fiancé and I picked it to be the venue for our wedding. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the inside of the hall has beautiful walls and ceilings and the staff and planners have been so helpful. The trellis where our ceremony will be held is straight out of a movie and we cannot wait for our big day! Also, their catering company Jeffrey A. Miller catering has delicious options and they too have been a huge help to us.

The Curtis Hall Arboretum is the perfect wedding venue! The grounds and landscaping are beautifully manicured and the Hall is stunning and filled with so much charm. Jeffrey A Miller Catering, which has an exclusive contract with Curtis Hall Arboretum, is a dream to work with. They are so organized, knowledgeable and helpful! And it helps that their farm fresh food is amazing! I would highly recommend this venue and Jeffrey A Miller Catering!

Nice venue for a small wedding or similar event. The grounds are very nice. You can walk roughly one mile around the perimeter, but there aren't any trails.

The Curtis Arboretum has everything you'd need for a gorgeous and unforgettable wedding celebration! If you're getting married in the Philadelphia metro area and want a venue that combines natural beauty and grandeur, put the Curtis Arboretum on your short list. You won't find a more beautiful spot to tie the knot than the lawn behind Curtis Hall (the main building). The stairs that run from Curtis Hall down to the park's grassy expanses and then back up to the ceremony site allow you to make an entrance that builds anticipation. And the long, elegant pergola that runs across that space creates a lovely backdrop for your exchange of vows. You could spend hours having your wedding portraits done and still not exhaust all the possibilities the arboretum's 45 acres of meadows and forests offer. And Curtis Hall gives you an indoor space that is perfect for celebrating your nuptials with dinner and dancing. (At the wedding we photographed there recently, the couple used the tent-enclosed back patio for dinner and the toasts before moving into the intimate and historic ballroom for the party.) Another reason to consider the Curtis Arboretum for your wedding is its partnership with JAM Catering, which handles the food, beverages, floral arrangements and onsite coordination. In our time as wedding photographers, we've rarely worked with caterers/florists/coordinators who are so helpful, friendly, creative and detail-oriented. And we can tell you from experience that the food is delicious!

Attended a beautiful wedding here with the most tender filet and savory banana foster. Scenery at the arboretum could not be more stunning. The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dance floor were located in 4 different locations which I did not find ideal, but it was still a beautiful time.

Gorgeous venue , great place to have an event. Photos don't do justice to how pretty it is. Not sure about prices, but it's worth the stop. Saw a company work there called active photo booth so atleast I know they use people at this spot. Enjoyed my visit

I am sooooo excited to have my wedding at the Curtis Arboretum this year! The outdoor environment for ceremony and cocktail hour is serene and relaxing. This element combined with the hand painted walls and intricate ceilings of the ballroom perfectly match my planned aesthetic for “modern bohemian chic.” I can’t wait for my guests to enjoy all of the same things I love about the venue and more especially thanks to the attentiveness of the venue coordinator (through Jeffery A. Miller Catering) working so closely with me and my family.

VERY BIG!!! I love the separation for dog sizes. My little dog rolls with the big dogs tho. The entrances are a bit tricky, but overall great! Be careful for a hole in the fence that separates the animals. My dog slipped threw and got to the “big dog” side. All of the dogs were very friendly , the people were friendly.

We're thrilled to have booked Curtis Arboretum as our wedding venue! We can't wait to exchange vows surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the arboretum. The picturesque gardens and landscapes will make for breathtaking photos and a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, we're excited and counting down the days until we can say "I do" at Curtis Arboretum. It's truly the perfect setting for our dream wedding.

My fiancé and I are getting married on June 1, 2024 at Curtis Arboretum and we couldn’t be more excited for our wedding day! Curtis Arboretum was the first venue we toured, and we were immediately taken with the lovely, lush grounds, gorgeous outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour areas, stunning clear top tent, and intricately detailed ballroom. With its elegant terraced gardens, stone patio, and ballroom, Curtis Arboretum feels European, a unique gem on the East Coast. We searched high and low for the perfect venue in the tri-state area, but ultimately couldn’t find anything that comes close to the peaceful and joyful beauty of Curtis Arboretum. Besides the wonderful aesthetics of the venue, we chose Curtis Arboretum because of the venue’s caterer, Jeffrey A Miller Catering. Each person we spoke and worked with thus far has been on top of their game – responsive, knowledgeable, and inspiring total confidence that our wedding day will go without a hitch. JAM provides the ultimate wedding day experience, taking care of everything we need from catering, linens, and planning, to providing great recommendations for other vendors. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to get married at Curtis Arboretum and are eagerly awaiting our wedding day!
