Went
in
as
part
of
my
tour
of
NJ
coffee
roasters.
This
place
lives
up
to
its
spectacular
reviews
in
the
coffee-nerd
world.
It
is
unassuming,
cozy,
and
non-pretentious,
but
has
some
of
the
best
roast
I've
had
in
the
state.
There
is
a
clear
(and
successful)
attempt
to
try
new
things,
such
as
anaerobically
processed
beans
wherever
they
can
be
sourced,
and
a
faithfulness
to
mainstay
roasts
that
have
been
carefully
sourced
and
roasted
according
to
refined
recipes.
The
shop
seems
to
have
an
equally
faithful
clientele
that
loves
the
neighborhood
feel
of
the
shop.
In
a
similar
vibe
of
neighborliness,
the
owner
seems
to
know
most
of
the
major
roasters
throughout
the
state
and
likes
talking
about
what
is
new
and
upcoming
everywhere.
He
is
very
knowledgeable
and
genuinely
seems
to
love
coffee
in
all
its
forms.
Although
I
had
black
coffee
and
a
shot
of
espresso,
my
wife
had
a
much
sweeter,
milk-based
drink...and
we
both
delivered
high
praise.
I
took
home
an
anaerobic
roast
and
the
coffee
was
superb.
I
highly
recommend
this
place,
whether
you
are
an
average
coffee
drinker
or
a
total
coffee
nerd.
