I gave it 2 stars a few years back. I returned last night and it was awesome. Food and service were spot on. Plus this view makes it even better!!

I always like to come and order wings and nachos but this time I went and ordered the menu and a soda and the bartender asked for my ID and I handed it to him and he said it was already expired and told him I was on hold that the new one arrived by mail, that he checked the age (I'm 28 years old) and that he was also only ordering a soda. he was not ordering anything with alcohol and that he was going to have dinner and he told me that he was sorry and he did not want to serve me and denied me service. The truth is that what he did bothered me a lot since I was not ordering alcoholic beverages and I was only going to have dinner and I had the provisional license sheet that they give you when the plastic arrives in the car, but the truth is that with the attitude of the bartender I preferred better to go, for the moment I do not plan to return soon

Found this little wonderful spot through a google search. It was all so worthy. DELICIOUS food & drinks. Samantha was our server and she was just wonderful. Very efficient, informational & friendly. Great customer service. The ambience was also great, with outdoor sitting as well. Unfortunately, it was raining today. We definitely recommend wonder bar and will be returning when we visit AC again. KEEP UP THE GREAT SERVICE GUYS!

For years my wife and I have flown by on our rush to arrive at wherever we were headed. Though the Wonder Bar always got mentioned, we finally stopped here for dinner before heading home. Our waitress Samantha was exceptional! She really focused in on us, made honest assessments/suggestions and was so open and delightful. I would say that we would be back if they only served Doritos - except - our meals were EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD! The beautiful outdoor setting paled in comparison with the quality of the food and hospitality. Samantha said something to Angie and Angie stopped by to chat with us despite the bustling business. How personable and delightful you are, Angie! What a memorable & wonderful night you gave us! Now we have another festive family at the shore to visit! Grazi, Belle Angie & Samantha!

The server was great however me and my husband ordered drinks our 1st drink was good but our second drinks was filled with nothing but juice bar tender was very rude, plus we was charged all types of BS taxes. I work inside the casino where it's way better restaurants however they don't add on BS tax charges so how does the wonder bar get away with it 🤔 I seen another review on here from someone else who experienced the same thing as we did. We asked the server about those extra charges on our bill the 1st thing that she said was how her dad is a cop which had nothing to do with why our bill was so high for that small amount of food and water down drinks, we just took the food to go after leaving we checked our bag they did add on free hard nasty bread. More the less we decided never to eat at this place again. I wouldn't recommend this place especially if your black. Hmmmmm yeah horrible 😒

Hamburger was delicious… some of the best clams casino I’ve had…. House made chips were perfect!!

Went to Taco Tuesday for the first time in a long time. You can't beat 1$ tacos... Also nice to sit outside on a perfect night.. Service was quick and always with a smile... Only issue is good luck finding a place to park!

Great food. Great wings. Prices are decent. Service is good and friendly. Love the outside bar. Big young crowd on weekends.

Time and time again, The Wonder Bar never disappoints! Fried calamari was the best in the SJ area. Fantastic views and friendly wait staff. Love the Wonder Bar!

Not only did we have to pay to park but as we sat at the table we saw multiple people come in and just park themselves without paying. We sat at the table for 20 minutes before anyone came over to get us drinks. Then we continued to wait for 45 minutes for our appetizer, which was cold. Our waitress did not come to check on us. When leaving the valet guy that parked my car was no where to be found with my keys. We’ve been coming here every summer and don’t think we will be back after the service we have experienced today.

We are regulars there but were very disappointed with the food and getting the order correct. Wanted a pork sandwich special with no cheese, Atlantic City sub roll, and fries. Came out with cheese, wrong roll, and when sent back came out with the same wrong roll and now the fries were cold. The bartender and the waitress were great. Don’t know where the breakdown was and/ or the common sense of sending out the same fries.

The food and service are very good. The place was very clean and the bar is huge. I had an excellent Bloody Mary and the fish and chips. The clams casino was excellent. They have a large outdoor deck and you can drive your boat right up to it and dock it while enjoying your food and drinks.

Came in here for a quick lunch Friday afternoon. Sat at bar then table next to windows facing waterway. Service was great food delicious n beers were delicious n cold. Great atmosphere polite and attentive staff. I woul recommend. Love it here.

This is one of my brother's favorite spots to pull up in his boat and hang out with his friends. They brought me with them and now I see why they love it so much! Great food and drinks and in a great spot on the water! It is easy to see why this is a local favorite! Kelly is a great bartender and the servers are all very accommodating!

Great views of the bay.  martini was more on the sour end less . More of a sports bar location for the locals. Service was great. Probably better in the summer months with outside patio seating.

The food was amazing as well as the service. We had the shrimp wrapped in bacon, clams casino, and the steamed clams - in the white spicy - EXCELLENT CHOICES!!! Can’t wait to come back!

The bartender wasn't attentive at all. But I think with a little coaching he could improve. The following night seemed to be a struggle for the same employee. The bartender seemed to be doing both server and bartender

We visited the Wonder Bar in February for lunch. The hostess put 2 tables together for us and we sat immediately, being that the place was pretty empty. The first thing I noticed when our party of 8 was seated was that it smelled like a port-o-pot, not exactly what I want when I'm about to eat. Our server was friendly and efficient. When the menus came out, a one sheet of laminated paper, I noticed they were all sticky and filthy. I would suggest wiping them down regularly. If we weren't referred here and with a large group, I maybe would've left after the initial impression. Everybody seemed happy with their food. The wings were breaded, not what we are used to, but I was told they were good. I got fish and chips and a side salad. The fish breading had a strong beer flavor, different, but fine. After we all finished eating, I needed to use the restroom before my 2 ½ hour trip back home to PA. As soon as I opened the bathroom door, it smelled like a litter box. Maybe we caught them at an "off" time. I dont like to judge a place on just one visit, but I'm not eager to go back, and I wouldn't recommend it. If it felt cleaner, the whole experience would have been different.

They have a surprisingly interesting and diverse menu. I had chicken salad with candied walnuts and grapes. It was sweet and delicious. The garlic bread appetizer came with warm marinara sauce which was unexpected yet tasty. I'll be back

Yummy food. The seared tuna was delicious. Wings during happy were worth the 6.50. Good atmosphere friendly staff. Decently priced.

Excellent crab bisque. Red sauce mussels to die for. Fish and chips a little lacking in flavor but battered very well. Drinks could have been a little stronger, but it was super busy when we went on July 4th weekend. Still, the amazing bartender took care of us and made sure these out of towners were treated with a wonderful bay view experience! I'd love to go back!

I should have walked away before even seating at the bar. If felt creepy, and my burger was awful. So yourself a favor and go to Vagabond around the corner. Infinitely better than this dive. Our server was wonderful, but the kitchen should be padlocked

Went here instead of Ryfe because Ryfe has TERRIBLE service. This place took care of us though. All the bartenders were really nice, made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Highly recommend visiting and plan to go back myself!
