I stayed in AC for a week with my Bestie and her two daughters. We worked a fully remote schedule at the time and decided to take advantage of it. We worked from our room during the day and spent the rest of our day shopping and eating😃🥰 Carmines was on our list of places to visit. I don’t have to tell you they didn’t disappoint us. The only down side was we had to make early reservation to be sure we got a table. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the rosemary infused wings, lasagna and Cesar salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. I’m suppose to go to the NYC location soon and I know it will be another great experience

Took in takeout back up to my hotel room. Family style dishes served in catering half trays. Make sure you’re hungry before ordering! Food is very tasty and love that they actually ask if you need plates and plastic ware.

So delicious! We had the Fried Calamari and Linguine with Seafood. The Calamari was crispy on the outside soft and delectable inside. The batter was not falling off. But stayed in tact for a delicious crunch. The Seafood pasta was full of mussels, clams, calamari, and a whole lobster all cooked to perfection. We chose the white sauce as not to take away from the flavor of the seafood. Vodka Martinis very good. We had reservations for 2:15 pm and were seated promptly. We had an attentive but not hovering waiter. He was great. The atmosphere was lively with a few Birthday celebrations. I will definitely

Awesome food and place. Staff is very friendly. We went in pretty late, half hour before closing and the hostess advised no tables available. I asked if I can speak with the manager who didn’t hesitate for a minute and offered us a table. The waiter was very nice, food was delicious and huge portions. Not my first time and will definitely come back 😁 Note: Shrimp scampi is delicious 😋

Goodness!!! Carmine's was impeccable from the wonderful host at the entrance, the ambiance of the venue, the soft music in the background, and an amazing waiter named Chris! The food was AMAZING and portions you won't believe! We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and amazing mixed green salad! The bread snd rolls are such a weakness here.. This experience was top notch! I will be going again for sure!

We had two kinds of pasta - veal and shrimp scampi. Per serving is pretty large that is suitable for 2-4 people according to the staff. However for us party of five are stuffed with loads of pasta lol, we didn’t even finish them. Veal tastes like pork loin different from what we were expected. Could be a place for family or large group. Staff is attentive and simpática.

This is a great restaurant, particularly if you have a family. The large portions can serve an entire table making the restaurant very affordable for families and groups. We particularly enjoyed the steak and sausage as both were cooked very well, well seasoned, and delicious with the peppers and onions. The gremolata on top of the steak was excellent as well. The service was really outstanding as well and very attentive. As a small group (2 people), we particularly appreciated the warning about the size of the portions so we didn't over-order unknowingly. We still over-ordered because we wanted to try a couple of things, but we did so knowing what we were doing so it wasn't a surprise. We appreciated how informative and upfront they were with us about this. Great service and staff all around! We will definitely be back, probably with more people.

We were really hungry after a full day at the pool, and had no reservation, but were seated in the bar area immediately, without any wait. The bartender is on top of his game - very accommodating, friendly, and the drinks were top notch 👌 One of the better shrimp cocktails - shrimp was firm, flavorful, perfectly chilled - 5 stars Ideally seasoned stuffed mushrooms, absolutely delicious. And they served like 9 or 10 mushrooms - all portions are humongous 😋😍 Chicken marsala entree was served literally on a plate that's the size of the tray! Could be the whole catering size dish almost 😄 Not to mention, it was absolutely delectable. 6 stars and will be back!

After 8 years and pandemic, we come back to enjoy the CARMINE'S. Lunch is open at 12 noon, (not as Tropicana AC website said closed for Wednesday and Thursday. ). Lunch menu's 3 jumbo meatballs spegati so delicious comes with giant CARMINE'S portion spegati for only $19.95. Our sweet server ALLIE is the best. It's always worth the trip to eat at CARMINE'S..

I’ve heard great things about Carmines and I was not disappointed in what I was given! I went for a friends birthday and everything from start to finish was great! The service was good but the food was even better than I expected! You have to come on an empty stomach though, as their portions are enormous due to them being family style but nonetheless was delicious! Their Garlic bread was definitely the best I’ve had, and I highly recommend their manicotti and eggplant parm, the best right next to my own mother’s! I highly recommend you try this place, you will leave very satisfied!

Well highly disappointed! Dry! No sauce! Pasta was hard like they cooked a week ago. And does not look like the pic on google at all. I was t going to complain , however , the manager was just floating around and that’s when I said something. They did take it back and heat up and add sauce which was good , since the manager saw it was bone dry. This should come out perfect, maybe chef has an off night, who knows. my sister in law did ask for a free dessert which they did accommodate . she’s 79 seniors ask for extra everything. I would come back again, I always love coming here.

Absolutely amazing! Our server was impeccable, a woman named Marie D. As an old 100% Italian, I was very impressed with the flavors and the ambiance of Atlantic City’s location. Very clean & comfortable. We ordered the Pomadoro sauce, fresh basil & plum tomatoes with prosciutto & bay leaves flavors were perfect,(gluten-free) pasta & a meatball. At first we only ordered the one, to try… it was love! We ordered 2 more meatballs. From start to finish was absolutely delicious. Bravo! Definitely going back! Ask for Marie D.

Carmine's food is off the charts delicious and the portion sizes are meant to serve 6 individuals. We ate 4 dishes (including a salad) and a dessert amongst the 6 of us with leftovers! The service is top notch and I will absolutely be returning with friends and family for the sights, food, and drinks. 7 out of 5... really exceptional.

I love Carmines in NYC. Don't care for Carmines in DC and was eagerly anticipating my Friday night birthday visit to this location after moving nearby 2 years ago. I had My usual, Porterhouse garnished with full size sausages (4) a potatoes/onions/peppers. It's a battleship sized Platter baby! My gal had a great Rigatoni Country Style pasta dish that we enjoyed while my Medium well beast was being broiled. The platter was brought out by the kitchen manager who planned on giving us some helpful instruction but I assured him I was very familiar. It was incredible. Close to the original NYC in taste which is a very good thing. (DC shape up!) Its really enough food for 4 and a doggie bag. The entire experience was A+. We had reservations and was seated right away. Staff is plentiful and top notch. By boat was a $150 price tag but it was worth every penny. I plan to eat steak all weekend. I highly recommend this if you are one who appreciates quality food, massive portions and expert staff.

My husband and I shared the penne alla vodka and tiramisu. Service was good, food tasted great. As everyone else stated, portions are shareable, so they are worth the price in my opinion. The only thing that could be improved is, if they are in a resort, they should just add plasticware to the take out bag.

A meal at Carmine's is the ultimate Italian feast. Carmine's in Atlantic City is a must go for me every time I've been to AC. The restaurant's service and atmosphere stirs memories of Sunday Suppers and Italian family gatherings. Portions are supersized and meant to be shared. Everything is packed with flavor and you can't go wrong with anything you choose. The chicken entrees are tender and juicy, they melt in your mouth. Pastas are rich and shouldn't be skipped. I suggest to skip desserts and sugary drinks and save room for the savory. One of my favorite dishes is the house salad -a perfect blend of fresh greens with the flavors and toppings that define an "Italian salad". Simply perfection every time at Carmine's. 🇮🇹🍝💖

I eat at Carmine's AC at least once every other month but last night's experience was far superior and I just thought I'd share. The food is always on point and the portions are family size. No one ever leaves hungry and there's almost always doggy bag. Our server last night, David, was wonderfully attentive and when I asked to tweak the saltiness of a recipe, he made certain it was done. I was thoroughly happy with our experience and will definitely be requesting him as our server from here on in.

I must say this, it is hard to find a place now a days where you can rate 5 stars in all categories. However, at Carmines you will not be disappointed. The overall experience was a 5 star. From making the reservation, wait time to be seated, server, time for the food to be served, taste, temperature, the drinks, and I can keep on going. I must say, if you in the area, definitely visit. If you are not in the area, plan a trip, and you won't be disappointed.

Hey everyone! I want to thank everyone at Carmine Italian Restaurant for a beautiful and delicious birthday celebration. My server Don was amazing and as I sat and watched I could see that he really cares about his customers. He was very attentive and spot on. We enjoyed a Caesar salad, linguine with white clam sauce. For dessert we enjoyed tiramisu. Everything is family style which is nice it keeps the cost down. I hope when my husband and I return I June for our anniversary that we are able to come to Carmines again and have Don as our server again. Thank you every one for making my day so special. As always I thank you for reading my review. Remember to have fun with what your doing and keep in real. You know I do with every review. I want to thank Don for such a great time. With amazing for and some great laughs. Yours Truly The Real Deal 12401

Family style Italian decadence. I've eaten at four of their locations and it is top notch. Recommend almost any dish. Desserts are a spectacle. Just remember that family style means that portions are intended for multiple people to share. So don't be scared by the prices. The value here is almost impossible to beat

Pretty dang good! Came here for a celebratory dinner with 9 other people. We had a reservation but still had to wait a little, though it wasn’t too long. Our waiter was also very nice and answered our questions patiently. I didn’t get to try everything on the table, but the garlic and oil pasta is always fantastic here! They also had great cocktails. My favorite part, however, was the chocolate torte. Holy cow! We ordered the ‘Titanic’ 👀 dessert, which came with a bunch of stuff loaded on the chocolate torte (which I believe you can order separately.) Maybe I expected dry chocolate cake, I don’t know. But it was ANYTHING BUT. It was creamy and rich, almost like a ganache. Definitely for the chocolate lovers out there!! Based on this alone I’d recommend Carmine’s 😂 But the experience overall was nice. We dined very late so we couldn’t complain about them running out of bread or espresso cups. And honestly, because it’s a family style restaurant, the price per person came out to a very reasonable amount. An entree, for example, is usually shared between 3 people and could cost around $36. You could have a very nice affordable meal here if you come with a group! Definitely recommend it. My only complaint was that the bathroom was so far away. It’s on the first floor, towards the back, down the hall, and to the right. If you’re on the second floor, you have a bit of a trek to get there. Just an FYI for those with mobility issues - you might want to opt for the first floor dining area!

Great place, we had Ricky I believe as our server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and very professional and super attentive and timely. Great service from him. The only reason I went there only that second time cause Vinny was our waiter the first time And the experience then was above and beyond. Otherwise the food is ok. With places like chef vola, Girasole, and cafe 2825 in the same town, this place is like a better olive garden. More than likely won't be returning there as I prefer the other options waaaaaaay better in town.

We had a great meal here at Carmine's Italian Restaurant (inside the Tropicana Hotel & Casino) in Atlantic City. The "stuffed mushrooms" were certainly the highlight, and the bartender made me an excellent "old fashioned" to accompany dinner. Everything was prepared (as ordered), and I look forward to returning here on a future visit. Thank you!
