in 2022 still deal with racism truly modified and had.I had the worst experience ever I was treated rudely because I am white I was mortified when I got home and opened up the platter .I ordered catfish with collard greens and macaroni and cheese it was overpriced at $20 the catfish was overcooked a lot of breading and in the worst of it was the collard greens was nothing but stocks I could not believe it. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there it truly was the most horrible experience. And as you can see in the picture more than two third of the side of collard greens was nothing but stocks I even pulled them out and put them on something else they can see how ridiculous it was

Okay so can I brag for a second? I came on a trip to AC & was so hungry ( Im from NY & the west indies myself ) so i was skeptical on just eating any jamaican food, but this right here OMGGGGGGGG! it is great. im so happy i came across this spot, wish it was in NY. The yams were cooked to perfection. Corn bread was great. I ordered curry as well, they gave me rice&peas instead of white but it was still amazing. I actually found this spot on Uber eats so i was extra excited. Its definitely a banger.

Cashier took my order and my name, said it would be 20 min. I sat and waited INSIDE for 20 min, all while food is being pumped out. Came back up to the counter, and continued to wait, seeing the food continuously brought up from the back, with the cashier calling out customers names to get their order. Great system right? For some reason, not for me...they continued to make me wait an additional 25 min, before finally going to check on it, in which they pulled my food from a random place in the back. Not sure why my food was never brought out, why my name was never called, or why no one cared that I waited more than double the promised time, but here we are. I got curry chicken, which was full of little shards of bones, but the flavor was good. So just don't give it to your kids, unless you plan on running your fingers through every bit of meat. The Mac and cheese was dry and baked too hard for my liking, but to each their own. My greens needed to be cut up more, but flavor was fine. Also ordered bbq wings, Mac, and yams. This cost $40+ tip, which I did, in advance, but I will never make that mistake again. In case you can't tell, won't ever be back.

GREAT Jamaican and Soul Food spot in A.C. I’ve ordered from here several times whenever I’m in the area and it has only disappointed me once when I ordered Ackee & SaltFish which was too-too salty to even eat. But usually, everything else is A HIT! I highly recommend. Check ‘em out if you’re in the area. (Disclaimer, I’ve only ordered delivery, never actually went to the restaurant so I can’t speak for the customer service. When you go, write a review to let me know). 🖤✌🏾

Omg that jerk was the best authentic Jamaican food ever. Everything was great candy yams, Mac, and rice and beans. I loved it all and great portions. It’s a little more pricier than usual but it’s truly worth it for the quality and portions. Don’t hesitate and try some great Jamaican food. Whenever I’m in town this is all I’m getting cause I know it will digest good and very nice place and staff. Thank you guys so much!!

Never had authentic Jamaican food before. Love trying different things. The people there were very friendly and understanding that we didn't know what to order. It was a nice environment and the food was delicious. I ordered the curry goat with rice and mac and cheese. I definitely want to go back again and try the shrimping grits.

First I went Friday night they just closed so my husband and I went back Sunday at 12:08 pm I got banana porridge, she said it will be a 20 min.wait that was fine with me,we waited patiently, gospel music was playing (I was crying) renovating was going on,I can't wait to come back to see the finally, the lady on the register I think her name is Georgia,so welcoming and she knows all the customers name and she's having a really great conversation with them. Then when it's my turn she called my name she said I remember you, you were here on Friday night when we were closing I said yes, and I am here early today day. Let me fist say, we took the food back to the hotel , banana porridge , brown stew chicken, jerk chicken, rice and peas , cabbage, Mac and cheese ,ripe plantains.OMG we order the small , seriously these 2 orders can serve 4 people my husband eat ALL of his plus half of my porridge,I had the rest of the porridge and some of my food , going to eat the rest this evening. The FOOD TASTE SOOO DELICIOUS. I can just imagine the other food items are just as delicious. THE ATMOSPHERE AND SERVICE WAS GREAT, ALOT OF CUSTOMERS , JUST WAIT A LITTLE FOR YOUR FOOD YOU WON'T REGRET IT. They open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas , and close early in the snow time which makes sense. I asked her. My husband and I will be back. Many blessings to you and your business can't wait to see your finale renovating I know it's going to look amazing.🇯🇲🇺🇲

Worst food I have had in my life, I wish I could get a refund. I experienced very long wait time. This was not even the food I wanted but due to the long wait time I took this to get out of there .

Being from upstate NY and knowing some of the best Jamaican around, this place definitely ranks in the top ten of my list. I got the jerk chicken with yams and rice and beans. The yams were spot on and so delicious! The rice and beans were super good too with the right amount of moisture and spice. They gave me some jerk sauce and I didn’t even try it before I ate the rest of my chicken! Fall off the bone flavor, and definitely speedy service! Will definitely come back.

Placed an order on Uber Eats and still needed to wait 30 minutes for the order to be ready when we arrived due to a glitch apparently. Nonetheless, our food was excellent and the portion sizes were great! I must say I was a bit skeptical also because we traveled from Brooklyn, NY. We had oxtail, jerk salmon, and stew chicken. Our favorite was the salmon out of everything although it was all really good. The woman at the register was really nice about the situation also so the wait didn’t ruin my entire experience. I would def return when I come to AC again.

The place is in ok shape. Music was too loud however I was getting take out so it didn't matter. I ordered two pancake platters. It was really really good but it was also expensive. Everything is made to order so you need to have patience as well. The cashier/ waitress was super polite and gave us everything we needed to eat the food. The pancakes may have been the best I've ever had. They are a bit darker than what im used to but trust me they taste really delicious. The turkey bacon was cooked to perfection. They also did egg whites. All in all, If you have 30 min or more to wait for takeout I can't recommend this place anymore than I have above. I would not dine in though.

YARDY...where do I begin? I have to say the food here is so GOOD! It is some of the best Soul/Caribbean food I've ever tasted! I honestly believe each bite got better than the last. The portions were very generous too. My daughter and I were stuffed before we could finish LOL. The service was amazing! The lady behind the counter was very nice. When I called, she kindly gave me directions to the restaurant for my daughter and I. My only complaint is the location of the restaurant. I wish it were either on or closer to the boardwalk. Other than that no concerns at all. The food is absolutely delicious and you will not be disappointed and everytime you're in Atlantic City you'll want to order from here! Thank you Yardy!

Had the oxtail - it was ready quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. The plantains were excellent, though I had never had them sliced thin before, so if you prefer for your sweet plantains to be thickly sliced, keep that in mind. They added extra sauce from the oxtail onto my rice and beans as well, which is absolutely perfect. Definitely worth the visit !

Strolling by and wanted chicken wings and fries, also order catfish. Great service, 20 minutes wait.cant wait together back to hotel and chow down! Stick with the Jamaican food, got to be better than the wings and catfish, UGH!

Authentic Jamaican cuisine. Window menus appear to mostly offer bar food (burgers, heroes, chicken & fries, etc.) Upon entering, you can smell the browning of sugar for stew chicken or oxtail dinners. Full breakfast lunch & dinner picture menus displayed, and many beverage and dessert options. Curry & jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, & portions favorable. Rice & peas, nice texture. Oxtail gravy was delicious even without butter beans. Mac & cheese pie was jamaican style nice flavor and moistness. The price is fair to customers. It's a good choice for pick up & hotel room camp out!

I’m not even gonna waste your time. Go buy the food hands-down this has to be the best Jamaican restaurant in Jersey. I’ve been looking for really good oxtails and I found them. The gravy on the oxtails was so rich and flavorful. The rice and peas were delicious. Don’t pass this place up give them a try.

My husband and I ordered a couple of weeks ago. We had oxtails, Mac n cheese, and collards. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. The woman at the counter was friendly and made me feel at home. We ordered for take out and it was ready when we got there. Will definitely be eating from here again. Thank you

I love this place! Every time i eat here the food is amazing! My favorite dish is the white meat jerk chicken, rice & beans, mac n cheese and yams. The cornbread is amazing! Ive never had cornbread that good before.

It was good, but I’ve never been to a Jamaican spot where the rice and peas and plantains didn’t automatically come with it. Definitely sad because then the actual other sides, I had to put extra for….but food was good.

This place is worth the drive. If you are in AC and you like great food, it is worth every single penny. It reminds me of sunday family dinners. And the fish and the rice and peas....MY Lord. they are doing it just right here. enjoy. And grab a dessert when you are there too.

So I think this is the only Jamaican restaurant in AC, and my husband always supports Jamaican food wherever he goes. We came here twice. The food is pretty good. We enjoyed their beef patty and coco bread. The corn bread is very good as well. I like the curried goat, and the stew chicken wasn't bad. Be ready to spend some money though because the food is pricey and is very limited for that price. So if you're used to the packed lunch boxes in NY this maybe off putting. The service the second time we went was horrible. The lady was rude and very impatient. Overall, I would be back for the food if in AC again and needed a Jamaican fix.

OMG, I was so annoyed while waiting for my food while the the person cooking was running his mouth. I was so hungry. Well to my surprise the food was certainly worth the wait. Fried Whitings, Mac & Cheese and Plantains, it was delicious. Large portions enough for 2. I will certainly go back and spread the word. Bless the cooks and may your business stay successful. 🙏

This place is not what it’s hyped up to be. The food is okay I’ve had better and the portion sizes are really small. The food is bland. Don’t waste your money!!! It was more juice from the food than food itself.

It now needs TLC to the inside but the food is great. Not room to park may have to park elsewhere and walk to this place but the food is worth the walk. Delivery is the best way to go. Ordering ahead is even better. Had the tilapia platter collard greens and mac & cheese. They did a food job at portions too. Not a long wait but lunch time goes by fast. Try them if you like Jamaican food they do a lot. Order early because they may run out.
