We went to The Palm for my moms 65th birthday. It is supposed to be one of the best steak houses in Atlantic City. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was how extremely loud it was in the entire restaurant. We were there later then usually and it was maybe at 50% capacity. I am not one who typically even cares about noise but it was very noticeable. The service was fair with the exception of the bus people don’t even let you finish chewing before they are trying to take your plate away. Even when there is still sides left to finish. It made everything feel very awkward and rushed. The food for being one of the “top steak houses” in Atlantic City the food was very mediocre and forgettable. Nothing was horrible but caliber and class of restaurant it is supposed to be it was definitely not what it should have been. The steak was dry and flavorless, the lobster was the same. Reminded me of a dinner you could get at outback steak house. We definitely will not be returning. I have zero issue paying for quality food, and will never complain about price. But if your going to charge a premium you should make sure you can deliver. I will say that the raw clams and oysters were very good and my favorite part.

This restaurant greatly exceed my expectation! The waiter, Neil was friendly and helpful. We had an amazing dining experience. The food was delicious. As a pescatarian, there was a vast selection tasty seafood. Along with that, there were high quality greens that suited my husband's vegan diet. The only mishap occurred when the shrimp was placed on the bread, which caused it to be soggy and un pleasant to eat. I would have preferred the bread placed on the side. Overall I had a fantastic dining experience. I would definitely recommend and revisit.

Great service. Great food. First time there. Would revisit. Thanks to our server Daniel and his helper who cracked my lobster. Much appreciated.

For the price, I would totally hit Docks Oyster house or Knife and Fork. My meal was good... but they forgot a bunch of things, I'm assuming staff is probably hard to get right now. I'll stick with the local joints.

I did not enjoy my experience here at the Palm made a reservation 2 weeks ahead of time they seated me in back of the room with my wife and my daughters.and then bringing two groups of men who is seated next hour table the groups we're heavy drinkers. i didn't not enjoy my meal it was not cooked correctly and it had poor taste. And the waitress never asked when she picked up dish if the food was okay because I left 80% of the behind my wife and daughters we're excited 2 be in Atlantic City. I did not want to spoil their time so I just went with the flow. The Palm was just not for me. It's fairly obvious where I was that the establishment relies on alcohol to hide the poor taste of the food not really for a family. I would not recommend this restaurant to any family but would recommend it to some high-end drinkers would like to get smashed and a pleasant environment PS they do not have much of a non-alcoholic drinks I ordered lemonade it was weak too much ice

In a word - EXCEPTIONAL. From the food to the service, this is the best steak place in Atlantic City. Everything was outstanding. We started with lobster bisque (among the best we've ever had), steak tartare (which was very good), and a lump crab cocktail (which was excellent). From there we ordered a shrimp dish (which was delicious), a center cut steak (perfectly seasoned and cooked), a Veal chop (which wasn't on the menu but they made for us and was seasoned and cooked to perfection), and a surf and turf (both the steak and lobster were excellent). The sides (we got mushrooms and creamed spinach) were also outstanding. And the service was top notch and friendly throughout. This is a must-visit for anyone that enjoys an excellent steak. We cannot wait to get back!

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by my recent anniversary dinner experience at The Palm. Despite arriving at 6 pm to an empty restaurant, I waited until 7:15 pm to receive two cold steaks. The manager's lack of concern and absence from our table only added to the disappointment. To make matters worse, three other tables were served before us, despite not ordering steaks. This special occasion was tarnished by a series of unfortunate events, leaving me feeling neglected and disheartened. I hope this review instills a sense of guilt and prompts necessary improvements in the restaurant's service, kitchen efficiency, and food quality, so future patrons can have the enjoyable dining experience they deserve.

I was expecting a knockout steakhouse dinner and was disappointed with every dish. The steak came out cold! Other dishes were not much better. The ora king salmon was not even close to Morton’s version. Frozen supermarket salmon is better. The bathroom was dirty and the place needs a renovation. Service was very professional but maybe the palm is past it’s prime.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday last night and what a great evening. Our Server Michael is definitely the best in the business, service was top notch from start to finish. The food was delicious my favorite is the grilled octopus app. The steaks were all cooked perfectly and oh those side dishes. Creamed spinach you dont want to stop eating and the Wild mushrooms are fantastic. I could go on and on but I will end by saying Thank you Michael and the rest of the staff for making my daughter's birthday dinner great..

Everyone who worked there had a positive and pleasant attitude. We had a ribeye and shrimp with pasta. 2 drinks which were great, an appetizer and a side dish. They placed bread out right away after we sat. The bill was reasonable for a high end steakhouse. Good crowd for a Thursday. I'm sure weekends there must be a long line .

Our waiter, the young women who cracked the lobster and the hostesses were all outstanding. The Wagu Steak was excellent. The Nova Scotia lobster and crab was top notch...amazing. The pasta Bolognese was ok...little bland. The bacon appetizer and the doughnut hole desserts were easily 10/10 good! The wine selection is significantly better that what was advertised on line. The mens room was clean...but urinal spacing is way too close. I had to stand at an angle to prevent wedging my shoulder into a stall wall. The drop off/pick up situation is poorly laid out for folks who cant walk far. The taxi lane is directly adjecent to the entrance, so dropoff/ pickup has to occur in a traffic lane. The French fries were nothing to write home about. They were a little soggy for my taste. The complimentary bread and oysters were also outstanding. The "atomic" horseradish has to be some of the best horseradish Ive ever had. Id love to have a Bloody Mary from this place!

Everything you expect out of a high class restaurant and more! The staff was young, but very well versed in customer service and making sure you are treated right. Interesting combinations of specials and standard favorites...

Food was great and service was even better. Julian was extremely friendly and attentive, and paid attention to the dessert I was debating on getting. I ultimately passed, but he brought it out anyway as a birthday surprise. Made my night!

The general service was slow but our server Jason was good. Salad that I have had very few dressing. The steak was good. They were out of Expresso. The place was very noisy. Overall it was average.

Terrible service & experience from top to bottom. I went in with great expectations and left with a bad taste in my mouth (literally) Initially everything was fine, waitress greeted us went over specials and we ordered our wine. However when we received our appetizers everything went downhill. I did not see the waitress again after the moment she poured the wine. Our entrees took almost 40 minutes to be served on a slow Monday night which a big problem to me but our Bolognese was acidic and had a bitter aftertaste… odd. My Kansas City New York Strip was heavily over cooked and every bite left me with a burnt charcoal taste that wouldn’t leave until I brushed my teeth that night. The Seabass was good though. I wanted to exchange my Bolognese and NY strip but our waitress was nowhere to be found. She never came to check on our entrees so we couldn’t send our food back. After finally being able to flag a hostess down we received our check. After she ran our check the waitress ask if we’d like desert. (mind you, after we paid).

Michael was a great waiter. Desk staff wonderful. Loved the caricatures on the walls. Food was fantastic. Only problem was getting there. Tropicana staff was not knowledgeable of location of restaurant and are not ADA friendly. Recommend taking cab or dropping off guests on Pacific Ave.

My friends and I went there last nite for dinner. We are 3 middle aged women. We ordered a round of cocktails and were very rushed to order dinner.Dinner came in about 5 minutes!!! That's way too fast.My one friend ordered the linguine with clam sauce, almost immediately after eating some of her food she got physically ill!! At the table! Not one waiter, hostess or manager came to see if she was ok.About 5 minutes into my friend feeling ill the manager approached us and insisted that we leave immediately bc we were upsetting other customers!!! Not once did she inquire how my friend felt.We told her to calm down, that we believed she is having a shellfish reaction. The manager then called security on us as a disruption! We were humiliated, harassed and still no concern over how a paying customer was feeling. We wi never ever go back yo the Palm in A.C.!

Our waiter, Michael, was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! They operate the restaurant like a well-oiled machine! The hostess greeted us and seated us promptly, the waiter accurately took our food order, and the chef prepared the food perfectly! All the wait staff and servers are awesome! Five stars all the way!

I found The Palm to be overpriced for mediocre food. Ordered Chicken Parm, it was diner quality, chicken was rubbery. The steak was flavorless and just ok, definitely not a $60 steak. Overall not worth the price. Our server was good and the wait time was not long at all.

Not as good ad before Landry's takeover. For starters, no more valet or comped parking. First time dining inside since Covid. Kind of shocked that no staff wearing masks. However we wore ours as much as possible and were seated in quiet area away from others. Cocktails were good. Great shellfish apps. Excellent waitperson. Steaks very good. Chopped salad was over chopped to point of mush. Would not get again. Home fries not as good as we recall. Too thick and soft inside. Not sure I'd go back.

We went into this dining reservation with very high hopes due to the reputation of the restaurant, and the reviews on OpenTable. I opted for a veal Parmesan, which the menu states is available by request. The server informed me that they transform the veal chop into veal Parm and it sounded wonderful. When it arrived, I was horrified to find this beautifully breaded pan fried veal Parmesan on top of a huge pile of wet, sauced, hot pasta. The entire underside of the veal was wet, mushy, and now tough. My dinner guest ordered the double cut lamb chops, medium rare. They not only came out rare, they were literally the toughest lamb chops he has ever eaten. He actually made a comment that they seemed more like mutton than lamb. The service was fine although, I would’ve assumed it to be a little more elevated than it was for this caliber of restaurant. The ambience didn’t correlate with the restaurant’s attempt at fine(r) dining. There were painted characters adorning the walls bringing the entire experience down. We paid over $200 for 2 people without alcohol. We will definitely not return.

We were greeted by the smiling face of Christie who was a fountain of information. When she sat us she pulled the table out for us. I think " hospitality" is her middle name. I just wish she took care of us the rest of the evening. JC was our server and I think he was absent on training day. I could hardly hear what he was saying. Maybe that's because he doesn't know the answers. I have dined at the Palm for many years and in Atlantic City this was the first time that the service was not up to Palm standards. I was just a guest at dinner on Saturday night so I didn't complain to the manager but I was expecting a knowledgeable server. The food was delicious as usual. Disappointing after such a perfect start to the evening. Thanks Christie!

Nice place. Our server was good even though he made some rookie mistakes. Only brought bread on request even though we had a large party, no garlic mashed potatoes either. The food was really good though. Came out to $87 per person.
