Great service in a clean and timeless BYOB restaurant. The menu and specials are creative. The portions are large so come hungry and plan carefully. My hat goes off to the staff and chefs at Chef Vola’s. Keep up the good work. The banana cream pie is a crown jewel and a must try so save room after consuming the veal chop. I was in a food coma and failed to make a future reservation upon leaving. Cheers & Enjoy!

Well, after a little over a year of trying, it FINALLY happened, we were able to snag reservations at Chef Volas for our Anniversary. Can say I am NOT disappointed!! Everything was beyond phenomenal and I understand WHY this is such a hard reservation to get! Service and Food solid 11 out of 10 in my high standards book. Hayley was amazing and the entire team was extremely professional. Can't wait to go back and try even MORE!!

Not your typical restaurant, house converted into a restaurant. Interesting history. If you haven't heard about it and never ventured off the boardwalk you probably would never drive/walk by it. We were escorted into the basement through the side entrance. If you are taller than 5'-9", ask to be seated upstairs, low ceilings in the basement. Super kind and friendly staff. Stevie was our waiter. I am only giving it a 4 star because of esthetics, but the food was fantastic (5star). It's a BYOB.

A unique place, very popular. Called a week in advance to get Tuesday night dinner reservation. Place was packed. Animated and knowledgeable staff, interesting decor, food was great. Bathroom was in the kitchen which was fun to bust thru the door and see kitchen staff hard at work. Waiter told me to say 'hello as I went into the very clean and pretty bathroom. Owners are present and work as hard a the rest. Well worth a visit to Atlantic City. Not many places left like this one.

One of the best dinning experiences I’ve had outside of Italy. Def lives up to its rep. Lou stopped by to see how the meal was going. You can tell they really care. Started with the mozz with peppers and salad. Couldn’t have been more fresh if we were eating out of garden. Then had the veal, chicken and veal on bone parm. All exceptional. The best part of neal were the desserts. We chose the banana crème pie and apple cheese cake with Carmel sea salt gelato. As you can see from pics it’s world class. Can’t wait to go In again.

Had a great experience here! Came here recently for dinner Saturday night—we got a 5:30pm reservation and were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty dim lit, so it has a semi-romantic vibe going on. Service here was outstanding—staff were friendly, helpful and overall pretty attentive. Food was great! Top favorites were the Signature Veal Chop, Chilean Sea Bass Macadamia Nut Crusted and the Crabcake! For appetizer, the Homestyle Tossed Salad and Meatballs were okay. This place is BYOB—you can bring your own beer, wine or seltzers!

This place is definitely a gem in Atlantic City. So beyond happy we were able to get in and celebrate my mom’s birthday here! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was amazing! All I can say is that banana cream pie is out of this world… my new favorite dessert. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area!

Absolutely the best meal we have had in AC! They are known for their bone in veal Parmesan and banana cream pie. Both were amazing. The crab cake was filled with lump crab meat and the shrimp francese was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Really unique restaurant set in the basement of an old house. We were fortunate to get in while visiting the area. The service was excellent and the food was very good as well. The salad to start the meal was excellent. And among the meals we ordered were chicken parm, veal chop milanese, veal chop parm, flounder milanese, sea bass, and a pasta special. The consensus was that the veal & chicken dishes were the better ones. Hope to get here again next time I am in town.

Amazing dining experience! Was able to secure a same day solo reservation at 5pm. Arrived ten minutes prior and was promptly escorted to my dining room area on the second floor, "Italy" room. It's a quaint feeling eating in a small home decorated for the holidays. The waitress shared all the specials and made recommendations for me, as a first time guest. Ordered the salad, pasta trio (blush, bolognese, and clam sauce over linguini), and the acclaimed bone- in veal parmagiana. All was excellent, especially the clam sauce pasta which I felt had a generous amount of clams. The place is BYOB, but honestly there was no more space for alcohol when you had delicious food. Half of the veal became leftovers. Highly recommend a same day reservation if you're in AC on a Weekday during the winter months, otherwise reservations are hard to come by. Enjoy!

This was my first time at Chef Vola's and it surely won't be my last! Everything was delicious and Mary Mack was an excellent waitress, we loved her. The best part was definitely dessert, do NOT skip out on it! Everything is homemade and you will not regret how full you feel for the next 18 hours.

Delicious! Great food and top notch service makes this a must when you’re in AC. Came in with a party of 11. And they handled it smashingly. The apps were amazing. The bread basket - delicious. I had the bolognese and it was so tasty. Ask for a tiny bit of ricotta with it. My colleagues raved about the veal chop. We had a dessert sampler of cheesecakes. Wow. Just wow. Unexpected varieties - but they just worked. Give it a try. The food portions are way too big so prepare to take it home - even if you don’t have a microwave in your hotel room. ;-)

This place lived up to the hype! We called for reservations about a month before we planned to go and got a call back quickly. We ate in the Sinatra room - tight but still felt cozy not like we were sitting on top of the other diners. Limited bathroom space but the bathroom was gorgeous! The food was phenomenal! Wish we weren’t on our way to a concert so we could have taken leftovers! Will definitely be finding time to come back!

By far the best restaurant in Atlantic City. We have never had a bad experience there. Everyone from the owners to the staff are are always pleasant and attentive. It would not be a trip to AC without dinner here. All of the positive comments and reviews are well earned. Just returned from another great dinner at Chef Vola’s. The owner is very accommodating and sat us exactly where we requested. My wife and I had the veal cutlet malaise along with linguine with garlic and oil. All I can say is fantastic as always. Chef Volas’s is definitely our happy place when visiting AC.

Absolutely amazing! Garlic encrusted sea bass, bone in veal Parmigiano, and the special. Angel hair, asparagus, and lump crab. What a treat to have so much fresh lump crab. It had to be fresh. It was incredible!

Old world Italian in the heart of Atlantic City does not disappoint!! Chef Vola, a staple in Italian cuisine, continues to dish out large, delicious portions. The salad, pasta trio, New York strip and chicken parmigiana was simply delicious. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable helping us navigate the rather large menu. Now to the food! The chicken was juicy, pounded thin and comes with a perfect sauce-cheese ratio. The New York strip was beautifully charred on the outside and juicy cooked to temp on the inside. The pasta trio was a nice “tour of Italy.” We sampled penne in meat sauce, linguine in clam sauce and Angel hair in blush sauce. The salad was light and tasty. We will be back!

My first time here last night. Have been hearing about this restaurant for many years, but never was able to get a reservation. Many tganks to my friend Drew Fishman for inviting my wife and I after two of his guests were unable to join him. From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we walked out 2 hours later was absolutely amazing! 💯 The staff there was very warm, friendly and helpful. Having a friend to make recommendations on menu choices was a great help. Started with salad and pasta with asparagus and finished with lobster fra diablo as my main course and finished sharing lemon sorbet and pie that were equally delicious. The friend's conversation made our dinner even more memorable. I'm a foodie and have dined at many great restaurants across the country. Chef Vola's is now in my Top 5! Tough to get a reservation here, but well worth calling 30 days in advance to get one! Compliments to the chef and our servers for a very memorable dinner experience!

A very awesome experience from beginning to end here. My third visit here, and first time upstairs. This is a BYOB which makes even better, as we enjoyed our champagne before the main course, and wine with our main course. Everything is freshly made here and their service is top shelf and enjoyable! The only downside is the difficulty getting a table. You have to book a reservation many weeks in advance to have a shot. I highly recommend trying Chef Vola's, especially if you are a foodie like me!

By far, it is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to!! Every aspect was perfect! You can even take your own wine. It's a must... add it to your bucket list! It's hard to get a reservation so plan ahead!

Outstanding gem just off the boardwalk. The food is divine, service attentive and atmosphere homey. Recommended dishes were spot on. With BYOB the cost is super reasonable. There is a reason this lovely place is beloved by people in the know and why reservations are tough to secure. But make the effort it is definitely worth it!
