We have heard a lot about Bourre, and we went in last Tuesday for an impromptu date night as well as scouting the place for a future event. I gotta say it's far different than anywhere else in AC. Our barkeep was Anthony and he was very personable and seemed like he had great stories to tell. We were the only patrons there at that time so we got full attention and got a much better sense of the venue itself. I liked the various musical instruments hanging from the ceiling over the bar and throughout the place. The sleek black booths along the back wall seemed welcoming and the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the entertainment on stage. Apparently it used to be a strip club, but now the interior seems ideal for a Cajun BBQ live music venue. Their menu really intrigued me. It was my first experience with alligator meat and their Alligator sausage bites did not disappoint. Nor did their Fried Green Tomatoes! Fried Pickles, Pulled Pork Egg Rolls and their Cajun Mayo also deserve mentions. It was an interesting venue for sure, and the atmosphere and service definitely seemed apt for a future event. Thank you, Bourre! See you again for sure! Oh and BTW, Bourre means "stuff" in French.

Great food, great atmosphere! It was nice there was no wait and no reservations were needed on a Saturday night. They had live music, but you had to pay a cover if you chose to sit inside. There is a bar area and outdoor seating with a fire pit. Food was delicious. We got the jambalaya and cornbread. Both were fantastic. We wanted the gumbo but they were sadly out. Service was quick, although we had to get our own box. Can’t wait to return!

Very good BBQ. Very reasonable prices. Disappointed that alligator is only served as sausage. Po'boys taken off menu. Inside and outside seating. Picnic table style outside. The meat is smoked outside and smells so wonderful as you walk near. There are 2 huge bars. A stage is inside for entertainment. It doesn't offer many Cajun dishes but is excellent for BBQ Large portions. Very nice waitress.Definitely worth a visit.

It smelled and looked amazing when we brought it home! Tasted great too, sad because I thought $4 fries would of come with an almost full box. It is also possible my spouse got food poisoning from the jambalaya (only thing I didn't eat that he did) but since we can't be 100% sure won't let it affect our thought too much. Little pricey, but overall not a bad place to stop and try

What a great find. Our Family is staying right next door at "Atlantic Palace Suites" and just a quick walk to some good Louisiana eats !! Lots of alligator dishes but we chose some others. Two of us got smoked 1/2 rack of "fall of the bone" ribs with a side of fries rice and beans and a few great buffalo flavor wings !! Another got the swamp pasta with shrimp and my wife got a smoked chicken sandwich. Kids got mac and cheese and we had a wonderful meal !! After a little one bumped her head our Server Courtney took control and was so nice to bring an ice pack from one of two bars !! Once settled back down we were able to have an incredible meal and memory !! There are two bars and one side includes a stage for live shows. There is an outside portion done like a picnic area. Also on site is an outside entertainment area for large live shows. I'm told that it isn't all music. There are "side show" type venues that come thru our server told us !! She says to check their website for shows and dates !! Again not enough can be said about the wonderful food !!!

AMAZING! Did I say amazing?! The swamp pasta and fried pickle chips are addicting. This is my second time here and the food tasted even better this time. The soothing atmosphere and friendly staff makes this place feel like home. This will be my spot every time I’m in AC. Shout out to our waitress Theresa and their new manager! ** Gotta try and make it for the live music next**

I don’t rate many places 5 stars but this place was phenomenal! It has a Nola food vibe and atmosphere. We got the brisket which was ok but the pulled pork was incredible! Very moist and the bbq flavor was just right! We also got the Mac and cheese and the rice and beans, the Mac was everything!!! Then our bucket was the perfect mix of pineapple and banana very delicious with a not so overpowering liquor taste. Scott our bartender was very attentive and friendly and I give him a 10/10. Absolutely will be back this place is great!!

A wonderful dining experience. My husband had BBQ ribs that fell off the bone. So tender and the sauce was excellent. Sides of greens, Mac & cheese were very good. I had the fried green tomatoes with a huge Cajun Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Everything was tasty. The music playing along with the outside seating made for a lovely time. Our server was amazing too!! We can't wait to return with our friends to eat again.

I enjoy this place! Nice setup, especially the outside! Good vibe. The drinks are amazing. The food is delicious. I wish there were a few more menu options. Overall a great place and I recommend it.

Great spot for enjoying a drink with your pals. We tried some of the food (brisket, gator sausage, Mac n cheese) and it was amazing: we really loved the spiciness of it. Kudos to the staff: super amicable and always looking to help.

Nice place, good food, draft beer selection lacks variety (what’s with all the hops??). But a Narragansett tall boy for 2 bucks is a rare site. Could use a little variety in the music department, it’s ok but lacks something that I cannot explain, seems like the same tune over and over.

This is a great venue for live music. The sound is amazing, the atmosphere is very cool and the staff is very friendly. My only knock is the food...it took forever to come out (even though the place was not very busy), it was cold by the time it got to me, and the brisket was not very good. It had the taste and texture of preprocessed microwave food...not authentic smoked brisket. It wasn't nasty...it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. If the food was better, it would be 5 stars easily.

I felt Like I was in an episode of that show “Bar Rescue”. As a lot of reviews state..the service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. The entire staff including our waiter were too busy goofing off with each other in a very unprofessional way the ENTIRE time. 2 women who seem to be regular customers because of how they were involved with the staff..were treating this place like a living room in their house, Doing what ever they felt like, including going into the back room to change songs playing. Also Touching each other on that boarder line of Inappropriate. Felt as if this was all a big prank on us or something. The place is very awkward looking and themed almost like it was trying to hide that it was a strip club or something. You would never think this was a BBQ restaurant when you walk in. As for the food..it all looked incredible. I could not wait to taste everything. The ribs were the only thing that made me give a star. The mac and cheese, corn bread and Cali greens were all legit tasteless..despite looking so appealing. We both were trying to figure out how this was even possible. There is absolutely NO WAY I could EVER recommend this place to someone. I will not be back.

Staff was very friendly and eating areas were all clean! Wanna feel like your eating at the beach on the sand? Sit outside it is so beautiful ! Their drinks are also a must and the burgers are awesome

An eclectic mix of indoor and outdoor furniture. Food is exceptional especially that creat sauce. Drinks are reasonable and they also have hemp infused drinks. Live music on weekends. Our host and server Amanda made us feel right at home. Best value in AC.

Excellent service. Was seated right away and the server quickly brought us water,silverware,appetizer plates and extra napkins before taking our order. Music was great! Good sound and a nice big stage.

Saw nice comedy show! Gary Garcia was great! What a nice date night.. attentive wait staff very strong 🍹drinks!! Tried Fried Alligator bites (very good taste more like kielbasa with a slight kick) celebrated my wedding anniversary nice place will visit again!
