A group of us were in Atlantic City for a bachelor party last Friday. After reading reviews for a number of restaurants I decided on reserving a table here. To make a long story short, every single aspect of our experience here was amazing. The food, the drinks and the grace of our waitresses was perfect. Each one of the 7 of us had a perfect steak. I highly recommend the knife and fork to anyone in the area. If we ever come back down, we will definitely be dining there again. Thank you for everything.

Wowza! What a wonderful chic spot. Elegant and decadent. The service was so hospitable. The decor was calming and relaxing. The vibes were just so good. Friends, and couples just having a good time. The food was exceptional!!! We eat at a lot of fancy restaurants up north but both the steak and fish were unbelievable here! And better than I’ve had at other spots. Perfect texture. Perfect taste. If I’m ever back in AC Ill make my way back here. Keep up the great food and service!

Looking for an awesome upscale steakhouse restaurant in Atlantic City? Look no further. This venerable institution has been cranking out awesome eats since the early 1900s and is still going strong. Terrific steak and seafood options, food is great. It's worth walking off the strip and Boardwalk to give this place a try.

My second time here with my boyfriend, and I wish I could go here every single day! We came for happy hour and sat at the bar for the half-off appetizers. We ordered the big meatball which was so delicious, the duck leg confit which was also great (just came with strange spinach), and he got the sliders. All were a 10/10! For our actual dinner, he got a sirloin which was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. I got a salad w/ grilled octopus which was pretty good! My favorite thing about this place is their goat cheese gratin potatoes. Slices of soft potatoes w/ warm goat cheese in the middle? I can’t describe it, but I wish I could eat this every day for the rest of my life. It is SO incredibly good and anytime I find myself in AC, I’ll be sure to come back for them!!

This place was nice I wasn't over the moon for it. The food was good. My family loved the food. We were there for the lunch special it's a great deal soup/ salad, meal, and cute little cakes. I will go back but I might order something else if I was go back. I got the fish and chips and I didn't finish and the next day the fish tasted off. They had what looked like an amazing green salad which I would have gotten if I realized. The building is very cool would have loved to see more of the building. There is free parking. The staff was extremely nice.

A second floor cozy seating area along with impeccable service made for a wonderful evening. An appetizer of lamb lollipops, along with dinner selections of braised short rib and seafood risotto. Don't worry they have valet parking. Relax and enjoy.

Happy Hour half price appetizers was worth getting in line before the restaurant opened. I’ve been here for dinner in the past and the food and service is exceptional. We decided to go for the happy hour appetizers. Had the Kobe sliders, black pepper bacon, lobster spring roll, tuna skewers, crispy duck and oyster/shrimp/lobster seafood sampler. Good variety of drinks and the service was perfect.

We were celebrating our anniversary and decided to try this restaurant. When I say that the food is simply amazing, we started with the cranberry nut roll and then we had an appetizer- lobster spring roll then our entrees, all I can say is if you don’t try it, you’ve missed the best meal you’ll ever have. Very noisy but...... The food and service was exceptional! Cheese board app, arugula beet salad was amazing and the maple encrusted salmon had a nice sweet and heat flavor. Bridget and other staff were above and beyond perfect, organized and very friendly!

Worth the hype! An absolutely amazing fine dining experience. Came here for my birthday with my husband after years of wanting to dine here. I got the surf and turf and he got the bone in rib eye. Both were insanely delicious. If you are looking for a true authentic Steakhouse with the history to match, this is it! Also be sure to make a reservation as this place gets packed.

Very nice atmosphere in a space packed with history. On the smaller side, so go prepared to dine close. The service was wonderful at both the bar and the restaurant. Ordered the 3 tier tower for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. The lobster and steaks main courses were beautiful. The lobster taste matched the look, but the steaks were a little underwhelming as they were under seasoned and overcooked for a medium cook request.

So loud because of this one table but the service was great and the food was awesome! My hubby had all appetizers. His favorite was the duck. Calamari he was not a fan of. I had the knife and fork meal which was awesome!!!

Disappointed!!! Well you hear all about this epic restaurant with a bunch of history, so of course when you travel to the east coast area it’s a must. Well the cocktails were very boring considering the flair you would have expected since this was the place back in the prohibition. I had the steak and lobster, well I’m sorry to admit Red Lobster puts this to shame, sorry it had no flavor and the lobster was very chewy. Then came the desert, well some just can’t get it right and I think the chef failed here for sure. The Crème brûlée was very dry and the crust was burnt, wife’s pumpkin cheesecake was also dry and blah. Overall the service was great but food did not WOW us like we hoped. Maybe we hit a bad day but not one item on the menu was spot on, like you’d expect from a place with this history. Hope your experience is better than ours.

Went for our wedding anniversary. Lobster Thermador was amazing. We also had tuna tartar, French onion soup, and salad wedge. Complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Service was excellent. Will be back to eat.

Very good meal and the staff was super friendly. I tried the Knife & Fork Inn Dinner Corn & Crab Chowder, Jersey Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella Salad, Lobster Thermidor 1lb & Filet Mignon 8oz. It's worth every dime.

Came for dinner for the first time last night. Atmosphere is decorated nicely for the holiday season. Nice building with on site complimentary valet parking. Great menu choices that will be tastier than the casino restaurants at half the price! Enjoyed the bacon and calimari apps and delmonico special which was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back !!

Haven't had a meal this good in 20 years or more ! Beautiful historic building dating to 1912.... classic, tried and true recipes . Waitstaff was excellent and helpful ! Considering today's inflated costs for literally everything .. this was reasonably priced for the quality of the food . Don't miss it .

Went for AC Restaurant Week! Started with a comforting tuscan bean soup, followed by a perfectly cooked filet with asparagus and potatoes. And the grand finale? A sinful slice of pumpkin cheesecake that left me craving more! Had a wonderful experience.

I was excited to make this review. Their lobster specialty dish which I can't find the name online was to die for. Hands down the best food I have had in Atlantic City. The portions are large. Great service. We made online reservations and we were sat immediately after arriving. The dinning area downstairs was intimate. There was a group of about 8 people in the same room. The group was loud. I could literally hear everything they were saying. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Also, bonus points in my book for using Phade straws( compostable plastic) which are made in my home town.
