Great breakfast spot at the Borgata with speedy and friendly service. We ordered the eggs Benedict and breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed them. On weekdays the buffet isn’t open so would recommend stopping by The Metropolitan. Wasn’t any wait and don’t need a reservation, just stop on by for fun diner vibes.

The service was excellent. I wish I remember the server's name. However, the food was not so good. I had the meatloaf-it wasn't very tasty, and it was salty; however, the mashed potatoes and the vegetables were delicious. My fiancé had the pasta with shrimp; that also was very salty and not very tasty. The jumbo wings were excellent as an appetizer and the hippie punch was pretty good if not lacking in quantity; the glass was half ice. The prices were reasonable.

Had breakfast here and was very pleased. The service was fast and friendly. The eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs were slightly bland but a little salt and pepper fixed it. Home fries were amazing. Some of the best I've ever had. Yogurt parfait was slightly small in portion size, but had fresh fruit and was pretty good. Overall a great place for breakfast.

We had a salesperson by the name of Dave, he had no personality. He not once cracked a smile. The food was good, while the manager did come out to talk to us I do not feel it will be address...the manager was saying oh we never had a complaint and he is one of the best server. Even though I had a bad experience it doesn't mean others will... maybe he has a issue with other who are different.

Almost an hour after paying my bill and leaving the restaurant, I receive a notification of 2 more charges. Had to go out of my way to return to the restaurant to see what happened. The manager Laura couldn't give me a full explanation, but said that there was a misunderstanding and she refunded my card right after the 2 charges happened (45 minutes after I was long gone from the restaurant). Problem is, that she only refunded 1 out of 2 charges. After a back and forth conversation, and copies of receipts, she refunded the second charge. So if I wouldn't get a notification that my credit card was charged, and wouldn't come back to find out what happened, I would've had random charges that I never approved. Could've happened to someone less tech savvy, and they'd never know that they left and an hour later paid for stuff they never received. No compensation was offered at all, to show any remorse for the random unapproved charges.

The menu has been pared down significantly. No more raw bar? Guess we'll only go there for breakfast. Bartender was very attentive and food was ok.

Used to be my favorite restaurant. Not sure what happened but the food was horrible. Service was terrible. Prime rib came out in 4 minutes and it was like shoe leather. Mashed potatoes, ice cold. Broccoli wasn’t even cooked. Sad to see a great place go down like that. Surely won’t be back! Don’t waste your time or money people.

Went to the Metropolitan for breakfast on a Tuesday. Sat at the bar which was less than ideal. I was not expecting a heck of a lot based on the limited options available for a sit down breakfast on a Tuesday, but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is fairly limited, however, order an omelette and I don't think you'll be disappointed. It was large and full of the vegetables I chose. The home fries could be better, but were okay. Service was good. All said and done it was $2 less for the two of us to eat breakfast here than our Wednesday breakfast in the Marketplace downstairs which was not as good.

Came in for dinner last night before a concert. We were a little hesitant based on the 3.9 stars, but were glad we stopped in. Prices were reasonable for AC, service was perfect (Maria was lovely), and food was delish. I ordered wine and a salad, my husband ordered a beer and a chicken avocado sandwich. This is place is a great option for a straightforward, pleasant meal.

We had a very short wait to be seated on a Saturday morning. Our server, Edwardo was super fast and friendly. We ordered Turkey club with chips and a Classic Metro burger with mushrooms and provolone and a side salad with balsamic & blue cheese. The burger was absolutely delicious. The Turkey club was good and the chips seemed like they could have been home made. Overall, a great experience.

If you are looking for Casual dining experience, then this is the place to go. Friendly fast service with great tasting food, you can't go wrong. We came to Borgata for a concert and most places were quite the wait. We've eaten here a while ago when they used to have dessert stand on the side but it had since been removed. We quickly decided to order the chicken park and shrimp scampi as we were not craving pasta. We also ordered a side of fries. Everything came pretty fast and made just right! The shrimp were huge and juicy. The chicken parm was juicy inside and slightly crispy on the outside. Highly recommend both dishes. Really don't have anything to complain about. Service was friendly and very attentive.

We had the breakfast there and it was a very busy place in the morning. Prices are reasonable, they do charge coffee ☕️ but you can refill it. We ordered the Eggs Benedict & Omelette and you can request them to substitute potato 🥔 with more salad on the side for a low carb diet. We’re pleased with our food and service and definitely will return again.

Food was good! Hostess not so much. Restaurant empty and told her someone in our party of 4 had a bad back and can we have a booth instead of table that was three feet away. She said “no area closed” and I said but three feet away and she said sorry it is closed again. Then within ten minutes she seated someone there. I get ithat it may have been a different server in that section, but they should have accommodated us. Will not go back, if this is their customer service.

The food is good, reasonably priced with hearty servings but the dinner menu is very limited, compared to pre covid. Service was excellent. Hours are also limited, closed on Monday and Tuesday, eliminating a favorite breakfast option.

We enjoyed great food, service and ambience here during our recent stay at Borgata. Sean, manager, was attentive and friendly, our server Tambour was very professional, and we can recommend their Spring Rolls, served with a sweet/sour dipping sauce! We had breakfast there in the morning, don't miss creamed sausage on a biscuit and they substituted potatoes with fresh fruit, at my request, without a problem. The Metropolitan was a fantastic experience!

People will go out of their way to say really bad things about a place but I am here to tell everybody we LOVED this place. I was there to support my mom for her half marathon and were limited on food places. The restaurant looked upscale but no dress code was required. We decided to try the metropolitan and it was so good. Seated fast, Food came out very fast, server was so kind I believe his name was Sabu but I can’t quite remember. The negative comments were probably on a busy day. I recommend the chicken parm and shrimp scampi... so yummy! Would go again.

Very nice place! We’ve been coming here for years and never disappointed. I got the salmon BLT sandwich, delish! It came with home made potato chips, perfectly salted. My husband had the roast beef sandwich that came with chips as well. I didn’t eat half my sandwich so I boxed it. So glad for the leftovers since there were no restaurants open when we ready for dinner!

Not sure if it was a cup of cappuccino that overflowed and crusted the handle, unsalted salmon, rushed and extremely rude server who didn't bring drink stirrers nor small plates nor asked if we wanted anything else, but the 30 minute wait was absolutely a complete waste of time.

We love eating here! Our favorite server is Kevin. Kevin is very nice and professional! My husband loves to try the different soups they serve. He's tried five different ones and they are so tasty! You can't miss with the metropolitan Burger, the chicken strips and the fried mozzarella on the appetizers are very good! They serve breakfast all day! They also have a full service bar to order your favorite drink to have with your meal. A very nice dining experience.
