Casa
Taco
is
most
definitely
mediocre.
I
was
surprised
at
the
lack
of
al
pastor
style
tacos
on
the
menu.
We
ordered
chorizo
tacos
instead,
which
were
good.
My
boyfriend
&
I
shared
a
total
of
4
dishes:
the
aforementioned
tacos,
chicken
enchiladas
with
mole,
jalapeno
poppers,
and
queso
fundido.
The
queso
fundido
was
strangely
sweet
but
good.
The
sides
and
chicken
ropa
inside
the
enchiladas
were
also
good,
but
I
learned
the
hard
way
that
I
dislike
mole.
The
jalapeno
poppers
were
good.
Chips
were
good.
Overall,
the
food
was
just
"good,"
which
is
a
little
disappointing
given
that
there's
a
lot
of
GREAT
food
inside
the
Tropicana.
There
was
a
huge
selection
of
tequila
and
many
fun
looking
cocktails,
though
we
didn't
try
any.
Service
was
friendly
&
prompt.
It
was
the
best
part
of
the
evening.
One
of
the
servers
gave
us
a
hard
time
about
changing
tables;
we
enjoy
sitting
side-by-side.
The
new
server
in
the
section
we
moved
to
was
a
great
sport
about
it.
We
were
seated
in
a
backroom
&
the
atmosphere
was
terrible
there.
I
enjoyed
the
table
settings
but
the
tables
were
awkwardly
arranged
and
the
little
back
room
felt
...
off.
The
front
dining
area
is
very
nice
with
good
ambient
lighting
and
decor,
but
the
back
was
too
brightly
lit,
cramped,
and
cheap
feeling.
Overall
I
don't
regret
trying
Casa
Taco
but
it's
not
worth
returning
to
given
the
plethora
of
fantastic
Mexican
restaurants
in
the
area.
