We definetly had a great experience dining here. It was our first time and we def will be back. I dont eat much pasta at all but we definetly fell in love dining here. I enjoyed my pasta because it wasnt overcooked like most restaurants would do. They cook it just perfectly right. Our server was great and the place is beautiful to dine in. Love it all.

So we are here at about the 1 hour and 10 minute mark and we still do not have our appetizers. Two tables next to us now have their dinners… party of 6 came in next to us and they seems to make them a priority…. I will post updates as to when we actually start to get the food… I hope it’s worth the wait!!!! Sincerely Hungry guy Update…. We were finally served our food and it was very good. I can’t knock the food at all. My fiancé liked it but the pasta was a little too undercooked but they did say it was served that way. I like it that way… the waiter was nice but definitely favored the other party over us. I recommend to the management that they watch their ticket times a little more closely.

Food was delicious. I had the seafood linguini which was a special that evening. I absolutely loved the decor. Very nice contrast in black and white. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Expensive as hell. Also the giant picture of the owner/namesake in the back wall with his hands folded in prayer kind of takes away the ambiance.

We went on a Tuesday night and everything was perfect! My husband wanted to go for his birthday and I was worried because I'm gluten intolerant that I would be eating salad. They had Chilean sea bass as part of the specials and it was fantastic. The ambience was nice and loved the background music. Also our server Sherry was Amazing as well as the entire staff. I will say that it was pricey but food was worth it for me.

Horrible experience. Had a Large chunk of bone in our meatball and were told that was normal. They stated that they were told to prepare it that way by the owner...they also said it was from the pigs feet bone... The owner's response is just a typically autogenerated response. Look at all the reviews and you will see how bad this place is...

Fantastic place . Atmosphere was very nice. Food was top notch, absolutely no complaints. Our server Eli was phenomenal. His customer service he provides is at a high standard. His skill and attributes are above all. He is the epitome of a quality server and he should lead by example to other employees . Overall we enjoyed our time here and I highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed a spectacular dinner at Martorano's during our 7 Stars trip. My wife and son both had the Chilean Sea bass and I had Steve's favorite linguini with clams. Service was excellent from our waiter Jay. Very informative and friendly. We have eaten there before and we will definitely return.

My new favorite Italian restaurant! There staff is absolutely amazing and so understanding and helpful. We tried there risotto and it was my favorite! They also said that they there short staff and there would be a longer wait time for food so they gave us some bread and a choice of oil and/or butter to put in top. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Soo I really miss the restaurant that used to be here. Nothing has changed inside interiorwise, but atmosphere and food have. The variety on the menu is good, updated cocktails menu. The problem was the food, including the fact that it is AC and prices are already high, the food was not up to those prices. And everything was extremely salty, I do suggest a cook not to put so much salt and let people add it if they miss it in their dish. My husband ordered a NY strip steak on special and it costed $90, so if the price matters, ask ahead for the prices on specials, it might not be cheaper than items on the menu, and it was ok, just ok. We did like the pistachio cheesecake dessert. The service was good the night we visited, maybe because they weren’t that busy.

Made a reservation for my 1 year anniversary with my wife. I mentioned it when I made the reservation, and we got nothing in return the day of, not even a happy anniversary from any of the staff. It took over one hour for our entrees to come out after we finished our appetizer, so we wound up missing the show we were supposed to see. I spoke with Rafael after we paid our bill, but his only response was that the average wait time for an entree is 50 minutes, and he asked me for my email address so he could email me later. I would not recommend eating here if you have plans to do anything after. We spent a total of 2 hours here, and we didn't bother with dessert.

Decided to try this new restaurant for my birthday dinner. The service and atmosphere were pleasant but the food was ok. My dish was salty and too al dente for me. I left without eating and had to get food somewhere else. I wouldn't return to this restaurant.

You can't even get into the restaurant if you even tried. I have tried multiple times to book a reservation online and over the phone. I guess I didn't miss much, as after, I saw pictures of insects crawling on their food. Would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Been here a few times. The pasta is as they describe it “crunchy”. The steak is also okay I ordered well done and it was basically burnt. After a certain hour they blast the music pretty loud so it’s hard to have a conversation. The dessert is really good!

This restaurant occupies the old Matoranos (sp. ?)restaurant site in Harrah’s Casino Atlantic City. We, a party of six, had reservations for an early dinner and were promptly greeted and seated in a back alcove table suitable for a group our size. The menu was not large but covered all the basic Italian standards as well as some unique takes on seafood and appetizers. We had a variety of entres as well aa the soup of the day and the calamari shared appetizer. Our entres were very large and could be split with a shared appetizer between two people as a full meal for two. All were good to very good with the flounder special and the scallops with risotto as standouts. The orecchiette with sausage was a little dry and a little too al denté but was acceptable. Prices were high but service was very good and noise level was low enough to allow normal conversation. Overall a pleasant dining experience and we give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

Arnell greeted us with a warm smile and enthusiastic “you’re gonna love our happy hour menu” and that we did! We ordered calamari, fried polenta and this delish eggplant burrata crostini (all pictured). The red wine on happy hour was perfect, and the service and attention to detail really was a great way for us to finish our amazing weekend away. Will definitely be back!

Fabulous place, the best Italian food on the planet. Anybody who doesn't love this place can't stand letting go of a dollar. A truly great dining experience.

SUPER LOUD, but great food! It was very loud in here with the DJ, but even before that it was loud with the design of the open kitchen and packed dining room. We couldn't really understand our server between the loudness and her mask. Thankfully we were able to communicate but there were definitely a few minor misunderstandings. We had the cheesesteak, classic calamari, carbonara, and chicken parm. Everything was really good -- the calamari is definitely some of the best I've ever had. The carbonara had a strong and wonderful bacon flavor and was super creamy. There's a reason it was very loud and filled with people - the food was absolutely amazing! So while the loudness was not to our tastes in atmosphere, the food was amazing. We'll definitely be back at an earlier time in the day or we'll try an order in.

The best cheese steak best Sunday gravy and the bronzino special was absolutely delicious! You know when an Italian restaurant is gonna be great from the start, it's bread service. Delicious crispy warm seeded rolls accompanied with olives marinating in oil also they have pepper oil on the table because some like it hot and if you do this is the way to go. Great music playing, its a wonderful life on the television sets complete with fantastic service cant Wait to return an all around amazing experience A+++ 👌👌👌

Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. Restaurant décor is very nice, though the very loud blasting music made no sense for a nice Italian restaurant and really ruined it for us. Food was delicious and portions were good size. The pizza, mozz with prosciutto, chicken parm and special pasta with mushrooms were outstanding. Prices were fairly reasonable as well. Service was generally good ... until the very end when our server spent 15 min talking to people at one table and completely ignored us, when we really needed the check and to get going.

Food was horrible and overpriced. To start we had calamari which was the only good thing we had. It had a spicy sweet sauce that made it really good. The bread also was extremely mediocre. Feel like I’ve had better bread from Whole Foods. We shared a mediocre Caesar salad for $17!!!! And The main entree was horrible. I ordered the linguine with clams and my friend ordered the linguine with shrimp and they were both extremely salty. We had to send the plates back because there was absolutely no way we could eat it. After one bite of it, I felt like I had put a spoon of salt in my mouth. It was horrible! We thought about giving it another chance by possibly ordering something else but we just felt we would be disappointed again so we left and had dinner next door at Gordon Ramsey Steak even though we had gone there the night before. Do not recommend this place at all.
