This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We had reservations for a Saturday night for a party of four. I recommend making a reservation because this restaurant gets crowded. The food menu is simple and right to the point. Their drink menu is awesome. I was impressed with their scotch and whiskey selection. We ordered a fifteen year old(Dalwhinnie) glass of scotch and it was very good. For appetizers we ordered the baked clams, spicy calamari, and the cold antipasto salad. For the main courses we ordered the filet mignon ( just melted in my mouth lol)eggplant parmigiana, and the special which was a halibut baked in bread crumbs with tomato’s and sauce. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the food had great flavor. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing, and very clean and well maintained. Our server was very friendly and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back.

Decided to give Angelina's a try even with all the negative reviews. My husband and I were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. The service was impeccable. We had delicious signature cocktails and I really enjoyed Mom's Lasagna. Which I highly recommend. My husband had the bucatini pasta with short ribs which was spicy and rich. Overall we were really pleased. Felt well taken care of and enjoyed a nice fine dining experience.

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We were very impressed with the overall experience and would absolutely recommend. The chicken parmesan was one of the best we ever ate and the strip steak was phenomenal. Garlic bread and arancini rice balls for appetizer were once again delicious And last but not least, that was the best cannoli I ever ate….delicious and would absolutely go again. Not sure what the bad reviews are about but our experience was great

The Borgata has many restaurants choices when you stay there and sometimes it's downright hard to choose. From Japanese food, fine steaks, gourmet burgers, or Italian food, you really can't go wrong in any of the places. This review is for Angeline's, one of our favorites. We eat here everytime we stay at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is great, the service is on point, and the food is ALWAYS impeccable. Reservations are recommended of course but usually during the week, they can usually fit you in with little wait if any. When we arrived, there are many different areas to sit. Cozy little corner booths where you can sit close, bar tops to easier access, or larger tables for groups. The decor is beautiful and elegant in there but not overly stuff or too formal. You don't have to wear a coat and tie if you don't want to, I've seen others wear shorts and polos just fine. The servers are always very attentive and never disappoint. Ask about house specials, sometimes they have them. We aren't big drinkers but from what I noticed, the drinks others were served look good. We are foodies and we really appreciate the fine recipes they serve there. Their lasagna is better than any I have ever had, anywhere in the US so far, seriously. We get that every time and I added a picture this time. Also, we tried the lobster fritta this go around, but it must have been frozen too long, as it was a bit chewy and I didn't care for it at all. Otherwise, the meal was splendid and we will definitely go back, as always.

Been coming here since opening. Always good food & wine. Love the rustic decor, feels like a movie scene with De Niro in Casino. The grilled branzino is superb. Charred octopus fresh with flavorful red sauce. Let’s not forget the linguine with white clam sauce, excellent. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Seafood night divine. 👍👍

UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!! Fairly disappointed in this restaurant. Menu is very traditional Italian cuisine. I was expecting some interesting takes on old standards and instead was served old standards done reasonably well but at exorbitant prices. Other reviews raved about Momma's meatballs and for $27 for four medium sized balls, I would expect them to be among the best I have had. Instead I found them to be fairly pedestrian. Service was good. Decor was fine but nothing memorable. I have been waiting a long time to eat Michael Symon food since I have always considered him the best Iron Chef. This does not represent him well.

This is one of the best restaurants in Atlantic City. For appetizer we had the Baked Clams and the Eggplant Caponata. The Baked Clams were probably the best I've ever had. The inclusion of sausage really made them stand out. The Eggplant Caponata was equally delicious and reminded me of an Eggplant Caponata that I had in Sicily. I particularly liked the pine nuts. For Dinner we tried the Pork Chop, Chicken Parmigiana, and Lasagna, and we all loved our dishes. The Pork Chop was probably our favorite. The sausage and peppers, along with the fennel, was a combination that worked extremely well. The Lasagna was also very good. You could tell the pasta was fresh and the flavors were great. The Chicken Parmigiana was very good and the chicken was well seasoned, however we all felt the portion was a bit excessive as you got two massive cutlets. We felt it would have been better to get one cutlet and some pasta instead. For dessert we had Tiramisu and Pana Cotta. The Tiramisu was delicious, but what really stood out was the Pana Cotta, which was creamy and paired with a tart berry coulis that worked very well. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal as well. The only criticism I would have would be with the seating, as not all tables are individual and where they had us felt a bit like a cafeteria. We would have much preferred the privacy that a separate table provides... But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan on coming back!

This was our first visit to Angeline although we have heard about it for several months before our visit. Aside from having to wait to be seated for our reserved table, everything else was spot on. The wait staff was exceptional and the food was above the expectations we had for a casino restaurant. We, a party of four, are Italian Americans and tend to be overly critical of any Italian food that our mothers didn’t prepare. The meals here were just terrific and plentiful. Good menu with something for everyone and an extensive wine list albeit they only had one rose. Lasagna was some of the best particularly if you like a lot of meat in the dish. Overall it was a fine dining experience. Probably not for kids snd the prices were a little out of line but the overall experience was very good. We give it four and one half clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

The first dinner of a guy’s weekend out in AC and we decided on visiting a celebrity chef establishment. Overall, the food was just OK. Nothing exceptional about the meal. And for what you are paying for, you don’t leave satisfied. The space reminded me of an “Italian” Balthazar (from the city). Except bare and cavernous. The server and bussers were not very helpful and in all honesty, I don’t think I’d go back. There are other places to check out before giving them another try.

Ordered a tiramisu at Angeline, a famous restaurant during my stay at the Borgata. It was to go but the way it was packaged, i thought was unforgivable for a $14 dessert from a prestigious restaurant. It was also a bit sweet and too much coffee in the tiramisu.

I was expecting more. Service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent but that's where it ended. Pasta undercooked and chewy, Lasagna barely warm, after three bites it was cold. Just tasted garlic in the meatballs, nothing else. Live Michael Simons but not this restaurant.

☆☆☆ Angelines were okay, I read reviews before booking reservations that were overrated, to say the least. The service really impacts the mood in dining out. There is a lack of attention and a verbal tone if you're a table of two compared to a table of four. After being ignored, due to patrons that arrived after us, being anxiously serviced, by our waiter. It appeared that he sent his coworker to wait on the smaller tables. The food was sub-par see pic's. Sorry, I will not recommend Angelines to my friends and family.

Great food here with a spicey sauce. Loved the gluten free pasta. The chicken parm was the best I have had! Not inexpensive, but would go back!

Wife made reservations here for one night during our stay at the Borgata. Not impressed with the food at all. I have to assume that the positive reviews are from people that don't get out much. I actually left hungry after a 230$$ tab. Not worth it..Go elsewhere

Calamari was inedible. The eggplant bolognese was very watery but the pork chop was very delicious. Avoid the dishes and probably you will enjoy it.

This was my first stop in and I went with our service Adoney's recommendation of the Ribeye. It was an excellent choice and I will definitely be returning. Also, Adoney is a great guy and really made our night with his great energy. It's nice to see someone who highly values their job and as a business owner I can greatly appreciate this especially during the post covid era where staffing shortages are a plague to businesses. Thank you Adoney and compliments to the chef on the ribeye.

The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! This was my first time here. You can tell the pasta is homemade, which makes a world of difference in flavor. The Sunday meatsauce was made with shredded, mouthwatering beef, instead of your normal ground beef. Not expensive at all for upscale dining. Would highly recommend!

Fresh Burrata and tomatoes was delicious, as were the cocktails and dessert. Special for the night was a cheese ravioli with cherry tomatoes super good, would pass on the eggplant parmesan though.

Listen, the food is good but a bit overrated and an extremely simple menu. 36 buck for Lasagna? Really? The sauce was good But the Calamari? All rings. That means it was from a bag. Unbelievable, that is not Italian

Food was great but the service was so so. Server seemed annoyed the whole time, even though everyone was polite and nice. Not sure what the issue was but with a higher end restaurant and prices that are far from cheap, you’d think he would have been nicer or at least welcoming.

The place is nice, with its pleasant ambiance and atmosphere. However, we were disappointed with the food quality. I ordered the lasagna, and my wife ordered the linguine, but unfortunately, neither of us liked our dishes. The taste and flavor were not up to our expectations, which left us feeling dissatisfied with our meal. It's a shame that such a lovely place did not deliver on the culinary aspect of the experience.

We fully enjoyed, amazing food- superb pasta, great service, & wonderful atmosphere! It was almost like a mix of my Grandma’s living room with an elevated sophistication of a fancy restaurant. The red sauce which I did not get a photo of is to die for!!! ❤️
