Visited here for the first time and the service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and courteous. We had the Blue Point Oysters and the shrimp for appetizers which were amazing, the NY strip steak that was cooked perfectly, and the Ora King Salmon that was delicious as well. Our sever was very nice and friendly, she was on point with everything. The atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic place. Ended up going here because Cuba Libre was all booked up. What a treat it ended up being. We got the $75 tasting menu and it was amazing. Empanadas, ceviche, surf and turf (amazing) dessert and many other dishes. I loved the airy bright atmosphere. Def will be back. The complementary Brazilian cheese bread is amazing btw.

We were very excited to visit Chef Garces' new restaurant at one of our favorite places the Tropicana. While the wait staff provided impeccable service and most of the food was excellent, the kitchen staff made us almost leave because we waited almost 40 minutes for our entree which consisted of a fish and a chicken sandwich. The restaurant was not busy at all and we thought the wait time was totally unacceptable.

This restaurant is a joke the food is really bad I have no idea who write this reviews and are not honest don’t waste your money on this restaurant we been there three times and we have ordered most all the food they serve including fish ceviche Peruvian style was lacking the fish I thought I was eating corn ceviche. I tried empanadas they are really awful. We also tried the most expensive plate (sea food tower) on the menu and did not like it and every one around the table tried and had really a bad experience, the service was really nice and accommodating when we returned the grilled octopus which tasted like burned rubber. Tropicana has a lot more good restaurant don’t waste your money here.

I've only been here twice. It is worth the trip to A.C. if only to go eat here. Both times I've gotten the chef's tasting menu. It's a complete surprise, you have no idea what they'll bring out. The quantity and quality is well worth the price.

The brunch is the absolute best value within 45 miles. Chefs know what they’re doing. Service a little spotty but the food more than makes up for it. Guacamole is excellent, as are the cocktails. The Chowder here (2nd place at the AC Seafood Fest [but should’ve won]) is bliss. Atmosphere and design is beautiful. A proper return to Atlantic City for Chef Jose Garces. A gem at Tropicana Atlantic City that deserves more than a try.

By far one of my favorite restaurants ever! My wife and I had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing. Patrick, Erin, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. All of the guests raved about the food and said it was one of the best receptions they had ever been to. We could not be happier. Thank you guys!

We had an excellent brunch experience. The raw bar was fresh, our breakfast entrees were delicious and satisfying, and the dessert was so light and amazingly delicious we look forward to our next visit. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful and airy creating a welcoming environment.

Went for my daughter’s birthday. It was beyond excellent. The waitstaff were amazing, even singing Happy Birthday to her!! But the food!!! The food was soooo good. We all got the Restaurant Week menu and were not disappointed. So many great choices. It’s not often that I get chicken out but I’m glad I did tonight. We’re looking forward to our next trip there.

Our experience was truly awesome! We found this restaurant online and decide to make a reservation for us and friends. The decor, atmosphere, staff was superb. Kate and Cheech were friendly, and truly happy to make our first experience a night to remember. We a party of four decided on the tasting menu chefs choice for $45 a person and what an experience! Bring an appetite! The bread was not typical , was authentic South American and the spiced butter was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The shrimp were perfection , the marinated chicken was done to perfection and the empanadas were gone fast! And did I mention the crab cake? Delicious! Will definitely be back!! Rebecca N.

Truthfully, I was looking forward to trying a new restaurant. However, it was my first and last.  Outside of the service which was excellent, the food was a major disappointment. We had a variety of beef/pork/poultry and seafood appetizers and main courses.  I was expecting the various types of dishes to be a melt in your mouth experience.  Needless to say, everything was chewy, not lean, and overly salty.  Honestly, my feet started swelling at the table.  Everyone tasted everything, but most of the food was left uneaten. Such a disappointment, and we are all missing Fin a great deal.

We have dined at Olon many times and it has always been an enjoyable experience. But this past Saturday night was a totally different story. Ordered shrimp skewers, Branzino and Chilean Sea Bass. The skewers were brought out and right behind them were our dinners, which the server ran back with as soon as he realized the mistake. We just ate the last skewer and our dinners we’re placed on the table. That not being bad enough, the sea bass was a cold flat piece of fish about 1/4” high, and tasteless. Definitely not the nice thick fluffy piece of fish you would expect for $45.00. In all fairness, the management realized the mistake of the food coming out all at once and could not do enough for us, but the damage was done, my wife ate her dinner alone while I waited for mine. So it seems Jose Garces name has become just that, a name to charge a higher price for average food. It’s too bad, “Olan” started good, but has seemed to gone in the wrong direction.

Extremely disappointed on Valentine's Day when four of us went to have dinner and I never got mine! They claimed "there was a glitch with everyone who ordered the Special of the evening and the kitchen never received the order." By the time I found my server to inquire where my dinner was, my three companions were almost done with their meal. It was around 5pm so the rush hadn't begun yet so there was no valid excuse. It totally ruined my Valentine's dining experience since I was celebrating Valentine's Day as well as my husband having told the server it was the 27th Anniversary of the day I had said "yes!"

Absolutely wonderful experience, it was my parents first time in Atlantic City and I am so happy I picked this place for us to go! Creative plates and an adventure for your tastebuds. We tried a bit of everything-- the oysters were sweet, the pork belly skewers were smooth and savory. We had the whole red snapper as the special and it was INCREDIBLE. The coconut parfait as dessert was the cherry on top for sure! Our waitress Marisol was incredibly kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for something unique and fun. Cheers!

My date and myself had dinner here for Valentine's Day. The food was excellent, very flavorful. Had the Filet Mignon Entree, cooked to perfection. Had a nice Ocean View while dining which complimented the nice ambiance. The service was very good & Barbara our server made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely be going back.
