I'm not sure if we went on a bad night or if the pizza is just overrated but we were not impressed atall. First the pizza we brought home was not what we ordered. They were quick to fix that mistake but when we got home with the 2nd pie it was watery, undercooked and honestly just plain gross. My husband and I are 3 pieces and went for ice cream instead. Maybe we're spoiled with amazing pizza where we come from but this was very disappointing.

Busy place and popular with the locals so that tells a lot right there. Big menu and the subs are great. At $20 bucks for the large they may seem pricy but they really serve 2. Haven't tried the pizza yet but that's next!

OMG!!! This is the way pizza should be made EVERYWHERE!! As a Damn Yankee (one who's moved to the South and is staying) born and raised in NJ, this is the pizza I dream about. You don't need any toppings on it - just plain cheese.....fold it in half and watch the grease drip off of it (as your mouth waters), and take that 1st bite and you are in heaven! If we could just get someone down here to make pizza like this I wouldn't have to go up north at all! It was our 1st meal when we got to NJ, we brought 2 pies back to the hotel, and then stopped on our way out of town and got one to eat on the road. Does that give you any idea of just how good this pizza is???

I called to place my pickup order. I walk inside and I stated I called in an order politely. The Indian guy immediately said, “Remember I said 30 minutes” no greeting or anything. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and a veggie pizza. This is what my pizza looked like, needless to say the taste was horrible. The pizza was very bland , the “veggie” pizza only had three toppings: frozen broccoli, red onions ,and some canned mushrooms. The grilled chicken caesar wrap was okay compared to the pizza. This meal costed $37.59, I will never return again.

It may not be Southside pizza fault but ordering off Slice , I chose thick crust and sprite. Had to choose from Pepsi products (no big deal) but got a thin crust instead. Might want to order directly. Otherwise pizza and mozzarella sticks were both solid

Great food..Recommended..Sweet buffalo chicken. They changed owners but food is still great. Doesn't have same big young crowd. Small inside but has about 6 tables to sit and enjoy and 2 outside tables as well.

They were prompt with the food and very respectful! I would go back again! If you go just 2 miles from the boardwalk you can get your pizza much less at South Side Pizza! 94$ for 2 pizzas at boardwalk and 43@ southside pizza!

I always come here for their pizza it's one of the things I enjoy the most there. Especially their Buffalo pizza! It is always perfectly cooked! I always go here when I'm craving pizza or anything. The place is clean, and the employees are very nice to the customers. This is why I rated it 5 stars.

I ordered the pepperoni pizza, turkey club sandwich and a BLT and everything tasted fantastic. Since my hotel room didn't have a microwave I ate some of the pizza cold the next day and it still tasted great. The BLT had extra bacon thrown in and the sandwiches had a perfect amount of mayonnaise, plus delicious onion rings and fries on the side.

Great food quality for hoagie, however portions are lacking. Half sandwich with soft roll is more like a shortie size with a toasted roll. Don't order fried shrimp. Pizza is AMAZING! Salad portion is great. Great customer service and speedy delivery. Would order again with modifications.

Pizza was ready quickly even though they were busy. Pepperoni pizza was amazing! We also tried the buffalo pizza, and I was happy they took care to put blue cheese on only half as requested. We weren't a fan of the sweet buffalo flavor though- wish they offered regular, spicy buffalo.

The cashier makes up prices for regular slices from the top of his head, terrible crust, overrated probably because of the area, they do not know they’re differences between a large and extra large pizza, they do not have a pricing for slices as well, bad customer service, the cashier overcharges you and pockets the difference from your bill. The food is decent although my pizza was very hard and tough.

Blt - bomb. Perfect ratio of every ingredient. My husband didn't love his bacon and Bleu chicken wrap, so maybe skip that. But the BLT - get it!!! It's delicious. And comes with fries and onion rings. Honestly so good. Delivery driver was super nice too. Thank you!

Got the buffalo chicken pizza. Had a weird sweet taste to the sauce. Would've been great if it was spicy. Came around 1130 pm after the Prince tribute concert at Ballys

First time here and the pizza is bland. The only good pizza they have is buffalo chicken. These people aren’t even sanitary not wearing gloves while handling pizza. I was I was curious when the guy cut the pizza. He scraped the residue off from the other pizzas and used it while cutting mine.

Pizza with extra sauce was good. If it only had been crisped up. Pizza without extra sauce honestly tasted like a Pizza with olive oil between the cheese and the dough. Not a discernable taste of sauce or a hint of red. Still decent, but I would ask for no sauce if this Pizza is what I wanted. Onion rings a awesome. No option to buy sauces online.

The new sign out front makes the place look modern and new to the area! First time here and pleasantly surprised that the pizza slices were large and the chicken and bleu wrap is great toasted. Great food, will come back

So we got half/half, buffalo chicken and Mexican. The Mexican was really good, no complants there. The other half, the buffalo was honestly was just sweet. Not quite what we expected but the dough and everything else was quite nice.

Amazingly good pizza, I'm here visiting and had to get a real pie.. arrived hot and delicious, fresh ingredients

I am not sure how people who wrote these reviews define Buffalo chicken pizza. We got it and it tastes nothing like Buffalo chicken. It is sweet and tastes like Chinese flavored chicken. It was way too sweet and we had to throw it away. The cheesesteak we got was good though which is why I didn’t give one star

First time here food was great Pizza was Cooked to perfection the wings were crispy and the Service is Great...By the way they took care of me an Half an hour before closing in a snow storm.

Southside was always my go-to for their yummy Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad! Ever since they have reopened though, their portions have been much smaller and their salads have been very bland...even with the Blackened seasoning. However, I'm not giving up just yet and will give them one more try!))

Best pizza in the square. Very out of the blue. Delicious. I loved it. Cesar salad pizza with ranch over it is my preferred, but there are some much nice options like buffalo wings pizza, my son love that one.

Not your traditional style pizzeria. I ordered a medium Buffalo chicken pizza which tasted more like a sweet Asian chicken on pizza dough. If sweet is your go to then go ahead, unfortunately it not for me. I also had mozzarella sticks which was coated in flour crust instead of the usual breadcrumbs.
