When they say panoramic ocean views, they mean panoramic ocean views! The atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating, and the food was incredible! We arrived early for our reservation, so the hostess gave us a nice table right next to the window. Wei made sure we always had water; our server, JD, was so kind! The view was absolutely fantastic and our food was delicious! You definitely need to check this place out when in Atlantic City!

Great Meal. Great view from the restaurant I wish I took some photos to show. Prime rib was really good and flavorful. (Maybe too much mustard on outer sear). The soups were great. Clams were delicious. Shrimp dish too. Crab Mac’n Cheese. Chocolate Jubilation cake was a nice finish.

Visited Chelsea Five Gastropub on a few occasions already and enjoyed my experience each time. This time was particularly noteworthy so I felt compelled to leave a review. I was staying at the Tropicana and booked my birthday dinner at Chelsea 5. Steak is always a great choice here. So for my main, I ordered the sirloin, medium well. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking and was bursting with good flavor. We also ordered the Mac n Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Truffle Fries, and Honey Sriracha Shrimp. All the sides were amazing. I was given a complimentary Prosecco and Cheesecake for my birthday. We received kind and attentive service throughout the meal as well. An overall great and memorable experience. I definitely look forward to coming back.

The food was absolutely delicious, I got the maple whiskey salmon and it was to die for. The server was really nice and friendly and made sure to meet our accommodations if needed (we brought a baby with us, and we needed a high chair). The food was fairly price as you either get a lot of it or it's really fancy. It's get busy really fast, so I would suggest making a reservation before going. I will definitely visit again.

Food was good, although it’s questionable if we were so hangry it tasted better than it was. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out. I had the crab Mac and cheese and a Cesar salad. Both tasted decent, I did expect a larger salad or a nicer presentation based on the cost. Portions were slightly small. The mac and cheese was enough for one person. My boyfriend had the salmon. I found it a tad too sweet. Both of us enjoyed the truffle fries and their cocktails were great! I loved the Irish coffee. Our food took forever to come out. We had decent service, but the wait time for our food was unacceptable. Both of us were starving and the kitchen was backed up. There wasn’t a lot of people so I’m not sure what the issue was.

Chelsea Chic! Our dear friend, who happens to be a casino whale, invited us to join him for dinner at Chelsea Five Gastropub last Friday. It was my first time there, and I was not disappointed. I adored the decor. So chic and yet very casually comfortable. I loved the blue glass ceiling light accents and the matching blue upholstered booths. Get an upper booth if you can, as it lets you look over the entire restaurant. It was very busy when we were there and the staff was very on-point. My favorite part about the menu was that they tell you where the meat and seafood are locally sourced from. Gotta love local! Many appetizing selections to choose from. We decided to try the Brussels Sprouts, Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, Flounder Francaise, Cauliflower Steak and Filet Mignon Sliders... YUM! Some of their entrees seemed a bit overpriced for what they were actually offering, but all in all, it was a great meal in a lovely space with wonderful company. Thank you, Chelsea Five Gastropub! UPDATE 3/3/22: We returned to Chelsea Five Gastropub last Saturday for our bestest friend's birthday, and it was wonderful! Special thanks to our server, Jamie, for being a hospitality superstar! They even brought our buddy a complimentary dessert and sang Happy Birthday with us.

We were here for dinner last night and had a welcoming hostess who was friendly and pleasant. She seated us in a location with a view of the ocean. The ambiance is classy with great views of the ocean as well as newer and contemporary decor. It’s a change from the usual bustling Gastropubs. Our waiter was also welcoming and friendly and made some good recommendations. The food was overall very satisfying and tasty. I would give this place a five star but I felt my seafood and the pasta primavera dishes lacked sufficient seafood and chicken respectively. The food is delicious and relative to the cost. The portion size of fair. The turkey burger was also delicious and recommended for burger eaters. We had the scampi flatbread and this was very tasty and a recommended choice as well. The waiting staff is very attentive and kept our glasses filled at all times. We had the creme brûlée for desert and that’s was delicious. We ate every bit of it. Chelsea Five will definitely be on our choice of food places to visit on our return to AC. Let’s hope the standards maintain since there aren’t many places like this anymore in the vicinity. It’s great to be back at Chelsea Five Gastropub. The food, ambiance and view were amazing. Excellent service and experience. You really couldn’t ask for more after a global Pandemic. The crab cakes, clam chowder, turkey burger and salmon dishes were all amazing. The coconut mojito is a must if you like mojitos and have a sweet tooth. Marisol, our waitress made our visit a delight. This dining experience is a must when in AC.

Attended a trade show in AC. We were looking forward to a nice meal, budget wasnt really a concern. Wanted a nice environment but great food. Saw the reviews and this seemed the place. Opted to watch sunset in hotel room so cant speak to sunset from this place. We were seated. Given menus and waited over 10 mins for someone to even take our drink orders. This is important because we ordered a bottle of wine, eventually didnt even drink half the bottle because it took too long to get Lobster bisque was good. Not great. No actual lobster in it. Taste was good but didnt seem made in house Caesar salad was fine. I can describe as sad. Lettuce was 1/2 limp. See pic attached Asked for addl bread. Never received We sat w our empty soup & salad plates, no one collected. Then a woman came out w our entrees. Put in front of us. Didnt take dirty dishes. The table isnt that big. I asked to pls remove them. She at first said no. Then agreed. Said no gloves so she really shouldn’t take them. Fine if thats the law. BUT she should say “I’m sorry I cant but I’ll send a busboy right away” Prime rib was tasty, but boring presentation. Baked potato, of all things, was good. Though on an oddly shaped plate. Hard to cut/ eat The stuffed shrimp were not freshly prepared. The stuffing was compact and sauce sat on top. Heavy handed. Shocked because everyone raved about it. **** UPDATING to encourage you to see other photos of stuffed shrimp fr reviews. My shrimp looked nothing like previous diners. Even the bed of greens. My shrimp were not freshly prepared. Compare for yourself Dessert. Order cheesecake. Waitress came out said no more available. Switched to crem brule. Thought the giant whipped cream on top was unnecessary. I apologize for the detailed review. But every item was slightly off The service was unprofessional. People shuffling around yet no one servicing us without being flagged down. Environment was also off. Cartoon on bar tv. Cleaning supplies in middle of dining room. To summarize. This restaurant is not polished. The food and service can be equated to a diner. Ppl were nice enough. Food was mediocre. Im reviewing detailed to save anyone who wants a great meal, or service from wasting their only dinner in AC. If the manager of this restaurant wants to contact me, I’m happy to give constructive criticism.

I think this was our favorite meal of this trip. Everything was delicious. We shared 4 apps and loved them all. We almost missed the place because we had a hard time finding it, but definitely 5 starts once we got there.

Went for the 1st time yesterday for restaurant week. I can only sing praises for this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and very filling. Had to get a doggie bag for half my meal and dessert. If you love seafood, the stuffed shrimp are amazing. The ocean view was a plus, The wait staff were fantastic. My server Jamie was great and described a drink for me perfectly (The Dude) as a cross between an expresso martini and a white Russian!!! The atmosphere is cheery and bright. If you really want a great meal in a nice atmosphere, this is it. I see people saying it's difficult to get to. Take the Tropicana south tower elevator to the 5th floor and follow the signs. Reservations are definitely suggested. This has become a new favorite restaurant !!!

Leave home early because it’s hard to find this place! The food is 3/5, vegan option is 2/5, but the service AND ambiance were 5/5 We went here for my friend’s birthday. First of all, it’s very difficult to get here for the first time because it’s inside the casino. It’s directly over the water, and it’s a really beautiful place when you get there. It’s an upscale ambiance with a beautiful view of the ocean. I was very disappointed in the vegan option. I was still hungry after eating my cauliflower “steak” (yeah, right!) the flavor was good but it was literally a slice of cauliflower with 2 pieces of broccoli and a pile of mushy mushroom quinoa. I was surprised to find that my friends also didn’t like their food very much, even though I’m sure the non-vegan food was better. However the service was EXCELLENT and our waitress brought out a free piece of birthday cake for my friend. In fact, even though we indicated we were celebrating a birthday, we never actually found out how they knew whose birthday it was! Maybe they overheard us or secretly payed attention while checking our IDs? Regardless, they brought the cake to the right person in our group! That really made my night! So even though nobody liked the food much (and my food was especially bad!) we had a really good time there! I might even go back I liked the service so much.

Try to book between 5pm and 6pm so you get to see the Ocean before it starts to get dark during the fall and winter months . Every seat in this restaurant has a great view of the ocean. This is so easy to get to from Tropicana. Our waiter Jamie was amazing and very attentive.

Nice restaurant in the Chelsea tower of the Tropicana AC casino and hotel. Service provided by Jamie and others was great. Food was delicious. Had the special watermelon salad, shrimp and grits, and sirloin sliders. Good cocktail and whiskey selection. Will return.

Great place. Kinda confusing to get to in Tropicana but off the floor area so it's much quieter than a typical casino restaurant. Their version of bang bang shrimp was good. So was salmon though it's a little sweet. Cooked well. My girlfriend enjoyed the country fried steak. Wish I was given option of salt or sugar rim on margarita though.

As usual we split our dinner and good thing! We had calamari and the portion size was very reasonable for two people. The calamari was light and seasoned well. We then ordered stuffed shrimp (4), a ton of crabmeat and lobster inside, the spinach in which they lay upon was absolutely delicious as well.

Excellent food. Great location with most tables having a direct ocean view. Very attentive waitstaff and the food is excellent for the price. I recommend this location 100%

Nice atmosphere and the menu was reasonably priced. I tried the prime rib which was the special and came with three courses. It was very good. The crab cakes were delicious and mainly crab meat. I wasn’t a fan of the lemon cheesecake but they had plenty of other dessert options.

Wow! We ordered breakfast room service from Chelsea Five Gastropub. Both of us had omelettes -- sausage and bacon. They were ridiculously good, with a thick layer of cheese. It's definitely not light, airy breakfast far. But it IS perfect to get your day going and eat away some of the previous night's drinking & gambling. The omelettes were perfectly cooked and good even a few hours later when cold. The potato slivers were cooked excellently -- on the softer side -- but they were delightfully salty.

We watched the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying an exquisite meal. My maple salmon with risotto was incredible!!! Tender, flavorful presented beautifully. My wife's prime rib was cooked to perfection. It was tender and delicious. Portion sizes are reasonable. The décor is welcoming a service is excellent. It is a bit pricey, but a good value. Currently they are open only on the weekend.

Fantastic dinner! Everything from the atmosphere to the entrees were perfection. I recommend the seafood pasta. It was full of seafood and huge pieces of lump crab, shrimp, calamari and more. Perfect. Added the bartender Jennifer was amazing!
