The very best in South Jersey. This time I had the burger but the hot dog and potato kinish or pastrami on rye is great. It's a good substitute for Katz in New York City.

I ordered 2 items without Russian dressing n they gave me Russian dressing I called downbeach deli to tell them they made a mistake woman yelled I'm not giving you back $65 I'll tell the boss to call you 11am next day never did .this is my first time ordering they got good ratings . I'll never order from them or anybody else again. The paper.on the bag stated no Russian dressing I'm on a medical diet can't have certain things

Growing up going to Jewish Delis I can say this place was definitely one I would revisit. The food was fresh, portion was good. The knish and matzoh ball soup was very good

Great place, great atmosphere, long time family favorite beacuse the logo looks like it says Downbeach Eli, instead of Downbeach Deli(we have a family member named Eli). Furthermore, their actual deli part is cute and is just like a real NYC deli, except for all the monopoly decorations

My go to for lunch here is chicken noodle matzoh ball soup and a hot pastrami with swiss cheese sandwich. Both are delicious.

Great Jewish Deli. The menu was endless. The waitress brought a heaping pickle tray and bread selection before we ordered. The open face Reuben was piled high with lean, tender corned beef and all the trimmings to make a delicious sandwich. The chicken schnitzel was moist and delicious and the eggplant tomato side dish and baked sweet potato complimented the dish. The service was wonderful as was the ambiance. We ordered dessert to go. We are looking forward to enjoying Jewish apple cake and cheese cake this evening with coffee and tea.

My last stop before leaving AC and I stocked up on the best homemade knishes around since I was a kid. Freezer is stocked up and the chopped liver is amazing! Can't wait to stop in again next year :)

Buddy and his team are top notch when it comes to food and customer service. Downbeach Deli is not only a comfortable place, but also an awesome atmosphere and a great experience for anybody in the Margate area or just visiting down the shore in general. When you're hungry be sure to go to Downbeach. Your welcome!

****20 YEAR CUSTOMER****Dined here a week ago With Two Friends. Ordered The Turkey Dinner With Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce and Salad. Added Kasha and Bowties as a Side. Food was Delicious. Ordered Split Pea Soup snd Turkey Club for later in the Week. THE PORTION ON CLUB HAS SHRUNK AGAIN! BECAUSE THE BREAD SIZE HAS SHRUNK! Hope they don't use a Ritz Cracker next. DO EATERIES THINK CUSTOMERS ARE STUPID AND DON'T KNOW? ENOUGH COVID LOSS REVENGE AND SUPPLY B.S. ISSUES. SORRY WON'T CORRECT THIS MATTER.

Haven't been there since last October, but my Birthdays Coming Up! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN DOWNBEACH DELI. The choices are humongous and superb. I usually get the Corned Beef Special and the Turkey Club my friend loves and now me, too! My new favorite: The Turkey Dinner with stuffing (😋 Yum), steamed broccoli, cranberry sauce and I order a side of Kasha And Bowties! The split pea soup is the Best I ever Had, because the Chef knows how to cook and doesn't load it with sodium. The Senior Blonde Waitress is the Best Server anywhere. Only wish they were in Philly!

Had a deli omlette today which was excellent I have never been a big fan of this place and only go there if friends want to go Today I was very pleased

Eaten here a few times and it was usually decent, not sure if staff changed recently but food today was only borderline edible. Prices aren’t listed on website menu. Paid over $40 for a grease filled burger, a veggie burger that my wife couldn’t get down, and a yogurt parfait. Realized no ketchup was provided despite getting a burger and two orders of fries. Fries were bad too. On top of that they charge an additional credit card fee. We won’t be back.

Not the best deli in the world but not the worst either. I Usually have an omelette when I’m here and they do a pretty good job. Knishes are really good here as are some of the salads. Never ate from their dinner menu. The place is about a block from the beach in Margate so you can’t expect gourmet food. I do think ownership tries very hard to give every customer a good experience. Anything wrong that I’ve complained about gets fixed pronto! Ask for Angela - she’s the best.

Yummy spot for deli and diner like food on the island. The chicken tenders are cooked great and the menu is very varied.

Friendly take-out service, matzo ball heaven - light as a cloud, many carrots, celery, thin noodles in an epic broth.

The soups taste like home. Standard Jewish foods are excellent. We eat here whenever in Atlantic City /Ventnor.

This place… it’s a shame that it is just terrible food . Unless you like whitefish salad … honest to god I paid $12.95 for French toast . It came out so flat it was like they put a hamburger press on it . The staff is not very friendly at all, I feel like I bother them when I come in. I saw a breakfast special on the board it was eggs Benny and it was $18.95!! This food comes out looking like a diner but they want you to pay top dollar. Also I have given it 3 try’s since last summer and it remains the same .
