This has been one of my favorite places to visit when my children were little. Now we bring our grandchildren. The rides and theme of the park are geared toward younger children. Probably best suited for ages 1 - 12. My son, now grown, took me here at Christmas time just to walk around and share the memories we had coming here when he was little. It a place to make memories for sure. They have added new rides over the years as well as a small splash pad area for the summer season. Concessions are available for lunch, snacks. and beverages. Christmas time is magical. Santa, thousands of multicolored lights, hot chocolateโ€ฆ Rates are fairly reasonable and you can save almost $4 per person by purchasing tickets online. I never get tired of this place; I think you will love it too.

This place is perfect for ages 2-8! The rides are the perfect size for kids and adults to ride together. The park is big enough you can spend hours there but small enough that it's not an all day event. Advice: buy tickets online in advance, you save a few bucks. Also bring change - there are games & animal feed you can purchase. There is food there but you can also bring your own. It is well shaded, so even in summer it's completely doable. It is so incredibly clean and the staff is very kind.

This was such a great place for you get kids! My son had such a great time. We stayed all day and enjoyed pretty much all the rides and interactive displays they had. The food we had was great and well made. For being extremely packed it did not feel it and the lines went very quickly so the wait times were very very minimal. I have to say this is by far the most cleanest park I aheve ever stepped foot on and this includes the bathrooms and food areas. The price to get in was perfect compared to other places. I highly highly recommend this place!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and now Iโ€™m bringing my granddaughter here. The price is fair at $32.95 a ticket and you can stay the entire time they are open. We bought tickets for the first day of the Christmas light event and the tickets said it was from 1-closing with Santa turning on the lights at 5:00. We got there on time to find a huge line and a sign saying they would not open until 2:00. It was a very chilly day so the wait was not very enjoyable. The security guard blamed the printer and said it wasnโ€™t their fault. Other than that we had a very enjoyable visit. Our granddaughter is 2 so there were some rides that she was too small for. However, there was plenty for her to do. We spent about 5 hours in the park. On out way out we went to the gift shop and everything was super expensive. We stopped at customer service to inquire about season passes for next season and they would not allow us to put our ticket prices towards the passes like many other places let you do. In regards to the accessibility of the park, they do a great job. I get around using an electric scooter. They have scooters there for customers to use. I was able to easily get around the park, get in and out of the cafe, and get in and out of the bathroom. Of the bathrooms that are there, there was one that was handicap and/or family accessible. I backtracked to that bathroom every time I needed one. In that same area they had lockers for people to use. It is very difficult to find a place where my lack of mobility impedes the fun of our day, this place did not. It was really nice to get around and not worry about my limits. There were a few places to get snacks and food. They were expensive and the food was average. My only complaint was the hot chocolate was super watery. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables where you can bring a packed meal. We had a great time and will take her back as she gets bigger and the seasons change. This really is a place that has stood the test of time and will keep families coming generation after generation.

My kids had the best time here. It's such a cute place for Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Claus were wonderful. The snow was beautiful, and the kids loved the train. All of the nursery rhyme exhibits were fun, and the kids recognized all of them. This place is fantastic, we will be back!

Great place to take your kids and so close to Atlantic city. Beautiful park with plenty of rides and attractions. Excellent food choices. The ice cream cones are excellent. Plenty of places to sit in the shade and the park doesn't get too crowded. We loved it.

Storybook Land has been open since 1955- and its still amazing! Such a iconic place! Located on a beautiful forest property, you get to enjoy the rides, sites & cute attractions. Very clean property & maintained beautifully. It really has a charm to it. You can tell this place has given so much joy to adults & children for a long time. We were surprised how massive the property was! A lot bigger once you get inside. Some iconic rides such as Bubbles the Dragon awaits! They have a nice selection of rides scattered across the property, clean bathrooms & food spots. Cute little gift shop on the way out.

Unexpectedly an amazing slice of heaven!!! Dolls become the heros of all the Nursery Rhymes. To adults it may seem creepy, but to a toddler or young child, it is a gripping moment of fascination. I went here as a child. Since then rides were added,so I expected the Nursery Rhyme portion to be run down. NOT SO! This park is absolutely beautiful and perfectly updated and restored. It's pure imaginative and engaging fun, but it's not over-stimulating like most entertainment today. There is a throwback feel, a step back to when times were much more simple. Yet, with the rides, it adds so much to do, you can't possibly enjoy everything to the fullest in one day. The food is fantastic and affordable. The admission price very reasonable. If your children are older than 10, I'd go elsewhere, but try to get here before they are. The park's pathways wind around large beautiful trees that provide both shade and beauty. The staff are all caring and extremely friendly. Almost every ride also gives you an opportunity to ride with your child. My granddaughter wanted to go on rides over and over and she would also love just going through each house and Nursery Rhyme attraction over and over. The trick is not to rush your children, but to let them become immersed in this wonderfully imaginative experience!

OH MY GOODNESS! This place is an absolute treasure! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Storybook Land! My kids had an absolute blast! We didn't realize it was "Christmas in July" and we were able to see Santa, which was just an added bonus! They also gave us a ticket to redeem a free snow cone for each kid. The entire park is shaded by gorgeous trees. We went on a 95-degree day, during the heatwave and we were totally comfortable for the 5 hours that we were there. The staff was incredibly friendly and the maintenance of the park is incredible. It is so clean and well kept. It is clear there is a lot of pride from the owners and employees. A total wow! We will absolutely be back in the Fall... and maybe even sooner!

It is so worth the price!!! Tickets are not expensive and itโ€™s such a cool place for kids. They do a great job for trick or treating in the fall! So many great rides and attractions! Plus itโ€™s shaded well which is good for hot days. You really feel like you are in another world when you were there.

For all of my fellow Marylanders, this place is so much like the old Enchanted Forest that we had years ago! This is the best place to take toddlers, my son is almost 2 and it was perfect. We have tried some other amusement parks that are meant for little kids but they never seem to have enough for ones his age. There were a few true baby rides that he absolutely loved, especially Work Zone! He went on it three times! I love the vintage houses that you look into and see a scene from a fairy tale. There are animals there as well that you can feed (bring quarters)- the Billy Goat Gruff one was especially cute, you can put food pellets in a cup that you can use a pulley to get it up to a goat that likes to wait at the top of a tower. I was also impressed with the amount of shade and how clean the park is. We didnโ€™t know there was a splash pad, so we didnโ€™t come prepared with a bathing suit, but it looked like kids were having fun in it. We all had such a great day and we look forward to coming back in the fall for the Halloween festivities and then again for Christmas!

Today my two autistic grandchildren and daughter-in - law visited Santa. It was a most special visit. Santa and Mrs. Claus were kind and calm and did not rush the children. Santa read my 6 year old granddaughterโ€™s list and made sure to put it in a special box so he could deliver her gifts as requested. My four year old grandson seemed to be most interested in Santa and remained calm the entire time. It brought tears to my daughter- in- lawโ€™s eyes. Sometimes bringing Atypical children to an event like this does not go well but this was an exceptional experience. Merry Christmas and God Bless Everyone

We had an amazing time at Storybook Land. Itโ€™s a very cute park. Tons of shade due to the forest theme. Splash pad in the summer. The rides are very carnival like. Some are very bumpy and shaky so be prepared. Lots of old school favorites here! Food was good and there were plenty of options. We loved ready and singing along with each of the fairytales within the park. Donโ€™t forget to have your kids press the buttons! Overall I would recommend this park for ages infant to 10 years old. Not much for older kids to do. Definitely a great trip!

Magic land for small kids. This place is really beautiful. It's almost summer time and trees/greenary makes this place stand out. In 85F, feels so good because of the trees. It's a must visit for families with small kids. It has mostly 5-10 year old rides, but overall place looks like a small magic kingdom. The best part is it's walkable. Parking is just outside and it's free. Didn't try food there but at least from vending machines I can tell it is bit expensive (as the case with every theme park) Restrooms are clean.

buy tickets online before entering, free car park. Good for family and children under ten years. [ We had a great time ] When you are done playing, there are stories on each site that your kids can enjoy. also there is a water park for kids, you can bring swimming clothes. The food is okay, but my advice is to bring snacks and water with you. We ate cookies and ice cream before going out, and there are ice cream-shaped seats. The place is great. [ Thanks to the staff they are all great ]

Our family went to Storybook Land yesterday. Our 4 year old daughter loves the classics, which many are brought to life with sets and animation. There are rides such as the tree swings, train, cars, carousel, roller coaster, tea cups, and others that young and old can both enjoy together. We went for the Christmas show to see Santa make an appearance and light the Christmas lights! It was a great time. Seeing my daughters eyes light up with glee at the sight of Santa and her endless smiles on the rides made for a magical day together. She also thoroughly enjoyed the sets, especially the animated ones. I for one really enjoyed the classic car garage and the antique train station. The chapel and the manger animation were also favorites for me. Looking forward to coming back!

Great choice for a busy 5yo! Plenty of activities and rides to keep him engaged. I loved seeing some of the characters from older nursery rhymes. The crowd was nice. The corn maze was beautifully done! We'll be back.

I visited Storybook Land with my two kids (7 and 1.5) and Dad. There were rides for all ages. Most rides could be enjoyed by both my Dad, who just turned 80 years old and is a bigger guy at 6โ€™2 ft tall, as well as my youngest child, who is 1.5 years old. My 7 year old daughter was able to go on everything. I would recommend starting your day with the train ride to get a good look at the whole park. We got tickets at a discount with homeschool group so look out for those opportunities if price is an issue. Charming & imaginative place that is fun for the whole family.

Very entertaining park for kids and toddlers. Lots of rides for kids with min 36โ€ height restrictions. My 2 year old (<36โ€ height) could even accompany me to few rides. My 7 year old had a gala time in roller coasters. It had a lot of type of rides but all were smaller versions of ones found in famous parks. Post entry kids could go for each ride multiple times. The staff were amazing and in all smiles. The alley inside the park was stroller friendly and long trees inside made walking in the park so comfortable. Highly recommended if you have a kid under 10.

It is the cutest place for kids ages 1 - 5 or 6yrs old. Itโ€™s colorful, full of fresh flowers and nursery rhyme themes. Each ride is freshly painted and age appropriate. If your kid isnโ€™t tall enough to get on you have the option to accompany them. My grands loves it and we will revisit. Would have purchased a membership but itโ€™s cheaper to pay the 3 or 4 more times we will visit this summer.

I remember my first visit to storybook land I believe It was 1969-70. I have been there over the years for a class trips with my little ones. A birthday party for my daughter and the annual Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ time visit. Now, I attend with my grown children and grandchildren. When Santa appears to open the holiday season by lightning the park with his magic wand, I still get excited! We all feel the magic while walking through the park sipping hot chocolate. The rides are kid/parents appropriate. It seems like they add more lights each year and the light show is entertaining. Never disappointed, I know its the real Santa, my wishes always come true ๐Ÿ˜œ

We visited on a very hot Friday at the end of August. It was busy but lines were short and the staff was excellent. The park was super clean. The food was actually really good. The rides were perfect for our 3 and 7 year old girls. The weather was tough with thunderstorms but after the rain the park was deserted and it was perfect! The prices are reasonable and a day here is just what younger kids will enjoy. We will absolutely return again.

Love this place and always have! So perfect for families. I love seeing the Christmas lights while walking around drinking some hot chocolate listening to the Christmas music playing. I would probably still come here even without kids during the holidays. However, having kids makes it that much more fun. It gets very crowded but if you stay later, the crowd thins out and you can do everything in a lot less time. The Santa here is also the best I've been to. He was very interactive and had my boys mesmerized. The food? Your typical park food. I would suggest downloading the app called Fanfood and order ahead. You get to bypass the very long line. You will receive a text when your food is ready and you just go pick it up. Super simple.

Took my 2yr old niece and she LOVED IT!!! She was able to go on pretty much every ride! The park was well maintained and the attractions were awesome! We loved how the majority of rides the adults could go on too!! Fantastic!!! It was not crowded at all, even on a Saturday, longest we had to wait was maybe 6 minutes for the cars! The food was good for an amusement park (made to order) and the soft serve ice cream was great! We're definitely coming back!

Awesome park for little kids upto 7 or 8 years old. No big roller coasters so if your kids are into that this wouldnt be the park for you. Park is very clean, employees are very nice, great experience both times i have come. The Christmas lights are great and Santa is one of the best! He takes time to talk to each child and you can take as many pics or video as you want. Overall 10 out of 10!! We had kids that were 2 and 4 and the rides are perfect for them.

Storybook Land is a magical place! We took our one year old granddaughter here over the holidays. All of our adult children also insisted on coming along! We had the best time, and it was so fun to hear them talk about their childhood memories of Storybook Land! We had never been there over the holidays, so it was quite a treat. The lights and decorations are beautiful. The park is super clean, and the staff is very nice. The rides are fun, and there are no long lines. Despite it being the last day open until Spring (Dec 30th), the food was good and reasonably priced. Parking was easy. We will definitely come back during the summer!

We love StoryBook Land! Our children are 3 and 10 months. I truly think that it's great from ages 1 to 10. A good variety of rides and activities, clean, and just adorable. There is also a discount for military (active or retired) and it's pretty decent.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to take kids. Tons of space so it's not crowded. Rides were very cute. All the storybook fairytale/areas /houses were super cute. If you have kids that like story book characters & rides then this place is a must!!! Food is reasonably priced & ice cream sooo good!

I came in August and it was pretty busy but the lines moved pretty quick throughout the day. My girls loved it. They have about 3 different eating areas but the main one near the cake hut where they serve pizza, etc. You pay 1 price at the entrance and you can get on the rides as many times as you'd like. The gift shop wasn't all that. I enjoyed the kids enjoyed. Definitely a place to visit.

Fun little Park! They have close to 20 rides and attractions. Kids had a lot of fun. Everything including attractions can be covered in around 4-5 hrs probably and the price is reasonable too. The best part is they have lots of trees and shade throughout the park which helps a lot during hot summer days. Recommend the place.

  • 5/5 Colleen V. 2 years ago on Google
There weren't really any lines and my 2 boys rode the rides at least 2-3 times if not more. The kids loved all the rides!! It's a great place to bring the kids!! At Christmas time they light the park with over a million lights! It was amazing! Santa took time to actually talk with the kids which I loved!

This place is amazing! Itโ€™s affordable and free parking. They also accept military discount. You can bring your own cooler/lunch if you wish which is great if your kids are picky eaters. All of the rides had short lines so my kids were able to go on everything multiple times. The train ride throughout the park is always a hit for the kids! The park is also super clean and all of the workers are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back again! ๐Ÿ˜Š
