Do not, I repeat DO NOT stay here. The only renovation to this place is the new sports book area. The carpet is old and stale. I'm a Black card holder, obviously playing thousands to maintain my status. I haven't hit a jackpot ever. My last comp room overlooked the rooftop and a wall. The best part of the room was the sunken tub. Unfortunately, the stopper needed to be replaced. If I could post photos. I would.

Checking in was not pleasant. 30 people on line with one person checking people in. 1/2 hour check in is too long. They tried to change us to dennis tower when we booked the bally tower. Ok they lie to you saying nothing is available. Then after we ask to talk to someone at a management position, a room suddenly becomes available. Ok we get the room we wanted. Why do these people have to play games. Love to not go here again but the room was great and worth dealing with the terrible customer service relations. I guess is hard to hire people to check people in that are friendly.

The staff at the door was nice, drinks were OK but it was really frustrating that we told our waitresses we planned to order food and her response was "sure, let me get your drink orders and I'll be right back." I guess it was pretty close to the time the kitchen closed. She went, put our drink orders in and then stood at the bar until 9 pm (so about 10 minutes)... came back and when she said our drinks would be out shortly, we asked about ordering food and her reply was, "oh the kitchen closes at 9." Cool location, but wouldn't return here.

So much better. They've made huge improvements. Had a major renovation. And added new slots. I love the new lobby. Feels much more clean and modern. I just wish they could ban smoking altogether. But overall a complete 180!

Very accomadating. Had to switch rooms three times before we got the room we asked for. Handicap accessibility needs a little more work but was able to get around Casino fine. Access to the boardwalk was OK. Beach access was superb. Nice long ramp with adequate incline to get to and from beach. Overall stay was pleasant except for first day room mix up.

Its gotten much better. The staff was a lot more friendly during our last visit and more accommodating. My only complaint is that some of the "queen" sized beds were actually full sized which caused a slight issue. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

This place is HORRIBLE. I have a 2 night stay and only stay for 1 night. leaving tomorrow 5/29/22. The rooms are old and dark. The carpet is old and smelly. I was staying in the Denis Tower. I went to the front desk and talked to the representative at the counter. She was very rude and abrupt. The room I was on top of their air conditioning unit so I couldn't get any sleep because of the air conditioner constantly running. This place looks like a homeless shelter. VERY DISAPPOINTED

This was my first experience staying at Bally's Atlantic City. First the good. I stayed in a part of the hotel where the rooms have been renovated, and my room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the boardwalk and ocean. Now the bad. This Bally's has perhaps the worst guest services I have ever encountered. When I arrived, at about 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday, there was one person working the front desk. One person - for a hotel that boasts 1200 rooms. The line was short, but even when I was at the very front, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be helped. When I commented to the staff person how long I had waited, she gave me a look of indignation and said in a rude and brash tone of voice "We have OTHER guests that we need to help as well as you." No apology, no explanation; just rudeness. I was with a group of friends who stayed in four rooms for four nights. NONE of the rooms ever received house cleaning. And in fact, you'd be hard pressed to find any information on a house cleaning policy anywhere on the website or in the room. By the last day of my stay, I had run out of the toiletries usually provided by a hotel. There are other hotels in Atlantic City with the same price-point as Bally's. But if you want to pay upwards of $200 night for a room only to be treated poorly by staff who are supposed to make you feel welcome and comfortable, Bally's is your place.

I’ve always loved this casino and hotel . I’ve stayed here multiple times and it has never turned me down . The restaurants are pretty good and very elegant ambiance especially now that they’ve jerry longos, guy fiery etc . Go ahead and book the hotel if you want to enjoy the casino and the stay . The view from top floor is spectacular especially in morning .

Clean, friendly staff. Casino was nice, restaurants were good. Right on boardwalk. Close to beach. Everything you want or need is in same area. Pool was nice and clean. Not many people, no life guard for those interested. Wish when you checked in someone would have told you about the rewards card. We instead heard about from others who have been before so we lost out on many "points" we would have acquired.

I want to write two positive reviews. The first is when we stayed for the airshow last year, and it was perfect. Great location, rooms were clean, and it was an awesome experience. The second is for today. We were planning to go back but had to cancel. The website was telling me I would have to pay a cancellation fee (which was not correct since I was more than 48 hours away from cancellation). After calling customer service, she escalated the situation and was able to get the cancellation complete with 0.00 charge (as expected). I appreciated the nice customer service and being there when I needed them in a world where not a lot of people pick up the phone, or you get tossed to an automated system.

The room was unpardonably bad. Motel 6's are nicer. Dinged up furniture, poor lighting, awkward arrangement...not worth it at all. The casino was fine. The restaurants were all overpriced garbage. Avoid. I will say the people who work there are lovely. There's that. Only reason I give it a second star.

The renovated rooms are excellent. The place was spotless. Your socks didn't even get dirty from walking on the floor. The only bad thing was which is something I really hate...is I saw 2 roaches. A baby and a full grown one. I didn't want to complain because I didn't want to switch rooms. I might have gotten and older room with the same thing. The restaurant downstairs, " The Yard" was excellent also. I'm curious to see Bally's when all the renovations are completed.

Absolutely fantastic location on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The rooms were nice. The valet was limited when we went. We were told it was closing at five on Sunday, but they actually stopped at one. We had a great bartender and service at the yard bar, but the carousel bar service was not great and we ended up getting really sick off the drink. No one but the bartender touched our drink or was anywhere near us. A lot of the on-site restaurants were closed when we went. for a casino, it actually didn’t smell too smoky which I appreciated. there were also great views from our room of the boardwalk and ocean.

Al Al Al the Bell Man if it wasn’t for this gentleman I would have been writing an altogether different review. So, if you don’t know when you arrive with luggage and need a dolly the guy to avoid is name Keith and his manager John is just as bad. They want to be tipped before allowing the dolly to enter the building. I had no idea I usually tip after it arrives to my room. Keith literally pushed me off the dolly and rudely told me that if he didn’t get a tip I wasn’t touching the dolly. John came and instead of diffusing the situation he instigated and never reprimanded Keith for berating me or putting his hands on me. I started to call the police but Al came out and calmed me down. He gently explained to me that he would have no problem being my luggage up. Then proceeded to push the dolly into the hotel and assisted me upstairs. He was so polite and contrite for his fellow staff that I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. He checked on us every time we saw him in the halls throughout our weekend stay. Corporate needs to hire more staff like this amazing Man Al and get rid of Keith who stated he been there over 35 years..which in his adled mind meant he no longer needs to cater to the guest. It’s his way or no way! John needs a demotion because he has no supervisor skills at all. Again if it wasn’t for Al I would actually be contacting an attorney and pressing charges on Keith for assault. Actual facts!!

My boyfriend and I stayed to celebrate my 21st birthday. We bought a room with an ocean view, when we got there they gave us a room with a construction view. They told us that even though we pay for ocean view, it doesn't mean we will be guaranteed that view which makes no sense if that's what we are paying for. They proceeded to tell us that they were short staffed on house keepers so our room would not be cleaned until our stay was over. Most of the staff members are rude and seem like they hate their job or are just annoyed when you ask them questions. We went to cafe and grille around 12pm, the lady said there was no problem even though the restaurant closed at 12:30pm. The waiter however was super rude and told us "hurry up and order we are about to close" we couldn't order drinks or dessert because we felt rushed the whole time. Not to mention all the waiters were talking nasty about us and other guests that came in at a later time. We had also made a reservation to eat at Guy Fieri's restaurant, upon arriving we waited almost an hour after our reservation and they told us "you can dine in if you were invited or it's going to be $85 per person if you were not invited". A lot of the food was simply over priced and not even worth it. The only good thing was the casino. Even the staff members at the carousel bar were rude and seemed like they did not want to serve us. Overall it was a waste of money. There are plenty of other hotel/casinos in the area that are worth a try. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Really well ventilated for a casino where you can smoke inside! Normally my allergies do me in, but I was able to stay out all night just fine. Didn't do any gambling, but I had lots of fun drinking and dancing as there are plenty of places to do both. Very easy to have a nice time here, hope to come back soon.

Check in was slow. Our room was dark and musty. Carpets in halls are filthy. Cigarette odor in hall even though the entire corridor was non-smoking rooms. Room not cleaned during stay. Hot tubs not available and no plan to reopen them any time soon. Pool only open on weekends.

Overall the stay was good. The location is central on the boardwalk. Beach bar is in back of the hotel, a new outdoor restaurant and near all the other shops, and resorts. I did feel like the room was older. No mirrors other than the bathroom. I wish we'd have known that our room was right above the restaurant that has the loudest band playing until 2am.

Went to Ballys for the first time this past weekend for my girls 30th birthday - never been so was excited to see what it was about. The check in process went smoothly, decently nice staff at the counter. The walk to get to our room, just looking around it was VERY in need of TLC… The wallpaper was peeling, the trim was half falling off, there were holes in the carpet. The paint was chipping in every room, half the appliances/lights didn’t work in the rooms. Very 70’s feel & dark wood accents. We had conjoining rooms which ideally is pretty cool. We ordered more pillows but each time they came to deliver it was literally just one pillow, although we ordered several. We were not in the smokers section but everything just smelled like a stale/wet cigarette. The room was cheap & that’s kinda how our stay was. We were only there for one night but I kno the restaurants in that area, especially The Yard House are really good! It wasn’t a bad stay but prob won’t be staying again.

We started out in the cheaper room and quickly regretted our decision. We were able to upgrade, the room was nicer but the shower didn’t work properly and although the floor was non smoking the ac stunk of stale pot. The staff was rude, the check in guy couldn’t care less, the staff hardly looked at you, and the parking attendant pretty much said “too bad” when I asked where to park a truck over 6’4”. All in all cheap place to stay and good location but definitely did not spend anymore time there than we had to.

I stayed in the Dennis Tower, which looked fairly updated for an old hotel. Overall, my room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Still, the bathroom could use better lighting and a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup. Oddly, there were no outlets near the bed for charging my phone. Checking in takes no less than 20 minutes on a weekend unless you have VIP access, so plan accordingly. The touch screens on the self-serve touchscreens don't work well, and even if you make it to the end, it will just tell you to get in line with everybody else.

This was our first time visiting Bally's Atlantic City. When we walked in, it was hot, stuffy, and a strong smell of cigarettes. The line to the Bally’s Hub for a reward card was not long, but the line was moving super slow. They only had 2 workers in the member hub and they were doing a scratch-off event where you had to actually stand at the desk and scratch the card with a coin. After the associate input the reward into the system, you stepped over to the kiosk to activate the reward where there was another line. You would think that if they were doing a special event, they would have more help at the counter. The customer service was lacking. While standing in line at the rewards counter, the off-going workers were joking around with the workers that had just started their shift all while they were trying to assist customers. If they would stop playing around, the line would probably move a little faster. The guy that assisted us did apologize for his unpreparedness because he had to walk away from us several times to gather his work supplies (new reward cards, new scratch-off cards, coins for the scratcher, etc.). He explained that he had just started his shift. However, he was also a part of the crew that was playing around instead of servicing customers. Once we finally made it to the floor to play the slot machines, we noticed most areas and machines were not clean. This was a terrible first impression! Needless to say, we didn’t stay long.

No, there was Not a lot there to say about this place. Building looks like it's falling down carpets are worn and faded. furniture's old, and there are lines. Waiting to get to access your card out the rear. Have 9 computers and only 2 attendees to help assist. Most of the places to eat were closed. Overall I spent more time waiting on line than any gambling. So It being easy to assume that they would. Rather you wait on line than to spend your money in their establishment. But I see you can get on the flower

There are better places to stay. If all you want is a room to lay your head and maybe a few slot machines to occupy your time then maybe this is the place for you. But we were here during the largest convention of the year and bars were closed, no place to even get a bag of chips and absolutely no nightlife at all. And this was a Thursday night. There is a lot more to do a bit further down the boardwalk. This was our go-to place for over a decade but not anymore which is sad because the location is excellent - it’s just that there isn’t a damned thing to do unless being in bed by 8:30 is your thing.

Dated furniture in the room but the bed was comfortable. Pillows were way soft. Refrigerator worked well. No operating ice machine on my floor. The casino was undergoing renovation in the lobby. Water Dog and Guys Steakhouse were very good. Need better signage to the Claridge and Caesars as they are all connected.

The rooms are small and need upgrading. The staff was not super friendly. We won five dollars that were never added to our game card. The yard was the best place for dinner and the staff was good. For a short stay is okay!

Accommodating staff, let me check in past check in time (of course I was calling every 30 minutes with an update so I didn’t lose the room) but they assured me I’d be fine. No fee or cost to me. And the older bell hop gentleman was super friendly and relaxed considering he was working ALONE on a Friday night … B- lol

Can't really fault much in this hotel. We had an ocean view super king in Bally's tower which was absolutely fine - only downsides are the bathroom needs a little update and there appears to be an odd gap around the bedroom window which allows you to perfectly hear the neighbouring rooms conversation as if you were in there with them! Luckily our neighbours were super quiet when it mattered and so wasn't an issue, just odd. Room did not smell of smoke which is great considering it is a smoking casino. View was gorgeous. Easy to navigate around. Only tried one restaurant in the hotel, Johnny Rockets which although a mess was super tasty!! Bell service was an elderly man who was so wonderful and friendly - say hi to him if you see him! Had no real issues during our stay.

We had so much fun at the casino my wife really enjoyed it as well I did. It was so big. We walked on the boardwalk there now that was so cool and relaxing to listen to the ocean. The time we were there it wasn't busy still had a great time. Did visit the Korean War memorial there which was very nice tribute to our veterans from that time.

I stayed at the Bally Tower. I stayed on the 26th floor. The room was renovated. I really enjoyed my stay. I liked everything about the room I'm very satisfied. I plan to go back again very soon. I also was at the Bally's casino, it was really nice I feel safe they had a lot of security guards walking around. As I'm writing this I'm planning my next trip

The place was pretty empty, more deserted. I was a quick stop on our way home. I couldn't get any bonuses and lost money here. It was no fun at all. Maybe just an off Sunday as they were calling for snow coming.

The renovated room we stayed in was amazing. It had a nice deep tub, separate shower, cozy seating area, and everything was so fresh. We can't wait to go back.

I deposited money so I didn't enjoy myself as much as I could have. I wish she would have $5 craps tables and enjoy myself more. But it was $15 table so to cover the table properly cost too much money and I lost too much money. Big ☹️
