I was approached by a beggar while waiting for clerk to unlock lobby door so I could check in. The second morning there, I went to breakfast room during breakfast hours to get coffee and the door was locked and did not see anyone in room. I enjoyed the water pressure and hot water in the shower. The bed was hard as a rock. Otherwise, the room and linens were clean. The hallways to the rooms were very cold. I felt uncomfortable in parking lot because of the beggars.

Room 304 in the hotel has bed bugs. The bedding and mattress were clean but when inspecting the seams of the headboard you could see something in the cracks where the fabric met the wood headboard. Upon poking it with a pen the family of bugs decided to move around and confirmed my suspicions. The front desk didnโ€™t seem too concerned. Moved us to a different room but I would not be staying here again. I wish i took pictures but please inspect everything carefully before laying down or our short vacation would have ended a lot different. Parking is an added 20 dollars a night. The area feels a bit scary after dark and is about 2 blocks from the boardwalk.

Iโ€™m never going to stay anywhere else when I visit Atlantic City. Smooth check-in process and staff is very friendly especially Ali at the front desk who went out his way to accommodate me and made sure the process was seamless. I had no issues checking into my room and Ali was warm and welcoming which is what every guest desires when they come to stay at a hotel. The overnight security guard also made me feel very safe and he is there to always help all of the guests. The employees show a great deal of caring for each and every guest that shows up at their doorstep. The rooms were very clean, spacious and each one comes with a microwave and fridge which is very convenient. The whole experience was wonderful!!!

My King room was very nice & clean! Nice continental breakfast every morning! Only complaint I have is that the front desk DID NOT tell me that parking was an additional $20 at check-in! Didn't find that out until I received my receipt at check-out! Would stay again, just won't park there!

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The hallways reeked of heavily overused chemical treatments. The room had dead flies scattered around in the open to make it obvious they didn't vacuum the room recently. The bed was an old spring mattress that was worn and unsupportive, and the sheets were stained. The bathroom was useable, but didn't seem like it got particularly well cleaned. We requested a late checkout or final day because we overslept and they were only willing to allow for an extra half hour because they were "busy" (every other Best Western we've stayed at has given an extra 1-2 hours no matter how busy they were). They also charge $20 a night for paying and don't provide you with a reserved or guaranteed spot. The biggest issue, however, was that the area was overcrowded with drug addicts and pushers....even on the hotel grounds. When we were heading out for the event we were in town for one of the nights there we had to carefully make our way around a man in the middle of the hotel parking lot who was freaking out on drugs, screaming, and stripping his clothes completely. There was no security at the hotel to handle this situation, or any of the other drug related issues occurring. If you are going to be staying in Atlantic City, pay the extra money to go to one of resort hotels to ensure that you will actually be safe and be able to get a good night's sleep!

Please know that room 304 is infested with Bed bugs.๐Ÿž I stayed there with my husband and kids. Unfortunately, I did not read anyeviews before I booked. Because I am a Gold Member and stay in many Best Western. But this time, I learned the hard way. On our 1st night around 3:00 am I woke up with my arm full of bumps from the bites. I immediately searched the bed and they were 4 big bed bugs under the pillow. I killed them (took picture of the blood on the pillow) and left one alive which I brought to the front desk along with the pillow. His immediate reaction was โ€œwhat you want me to do about it?โ€ He was not concerned at all. They know about it (shame). I was offered another room but I decided to check out (yes! at 3:30 am). I got a full refund. I am allergic to bedbugs. So I was not taking another chance with them. They do not care about their guests. I have booked for 2 nights and I canceled the 2nd one as well.

We usually have no problems when using booking, but this hotel tried to charge us twice and we had to have booking call them. Then they said they wouldnt charge us the 20.00 parking fee, but they did. The front desk clerk was very rude, he was arguing with 2 other couples why we were waiting to resolve our issue. The hotel is in walking distance to the boardwalk. And over all the room was fine.

Worst hotel experience I ever had in Atlantic City! The first room they gave me had some sort of white goo on the table and a half drinking water bottle refrigerator not to mention the floor was dirty. Their breakfast was horrifically unorganized! The staff stop making waffle batter before breakfast was even done. A great number of us waited 20 minutes in line and waited for a family to make 10 waffles! Their breakfast hours are way too short for so many people. Parking is very expensive given that a majority of hotels are charging only $15 for your entire stay, compared to $25 a day at this facility. The staff doesnโ€™t seem to care much for their guests. I would suggest NO ONE stay here unless you really have to.

My stay at the Best Western was great. The room was clean the bed was comfortable. The staff was great. Speaking of the staff a guy named Amaan was very kind, sweet, generous and you can tell he really cares about the customers. Also him being handsome with a big beautiful smile was a bonus of how he greeted you with grace. Sincerely the trio.

l really like coming and staying at the Best Western in Atlantic City. The price and location are perfect for a short stay. There's free breakfast included and parking for a small fee. The staff is super friendly and thats the best part... only one downside, the neighborhood is not so great...But see y'all next July for my 8th stay...

Room was not at all as the pictures show, fridge did not stay close, the vent in bathroom was hanging from the ceiling, and the hallway was barely passable for the luggage cart. Location to casinos was great, walkable, the cleanliness of our room was exceptional.

I would go back, especially if it's last minute and I can get the jacuzzi room again. TV needs to be bigger. Besides that it was nice and not expensive. Comp breakfast is really nice.

Thank you Best Western for making my one night stay at your hotel a great one. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. As soon as you walk into the hotel it smelled clean as well as the room that I stayed in. I would definitely recommend your hotel to my family/friends and I will definitely be back soon to stay at your beautiful hotel. If I could give you 10 stars, I would. Thank you! The rooms were clean . Would have been nice if the beds were Queen instead of full. But what made me give 2 stars was we asked for room service to clean the room while we was gone and when we came back they took our Pepsi 2 liter and gallon of deer park water removed it and replaced it with poland springs and Coca Cola soda.. thatโ€™s just a big no no especially since the front desk had no clue nor could answer our questions. It was just a red flag for us anything could have been done to the drinks.

The rooms were great and clean. But, the carpets in the hall really needs cleaning and they should have a some type of snack machine. I would stay again. Very convenient to everything, stores, boardwalk etc.

Rooms are decent and we did not find shampoo and soap to use for the shower. The rooms are comfortable enough. The breakfast was good and there was enough to choose from.

Great staff. Very clean rooms. Cumphy bed. Housekeeping very polite. I just felt I booked there vrs one of the casino hotels because I thought I was saving. It does say parking extra but doesnโ€™t say how much I paid 20 a day to park at the hotel I was staying in. I will definitely stay again however. I understand things are different in the city vrs the country lol

This hotel isnโ€™t terrible but it is a bit expensive for how outdated it is ! House keeping did a pretty good job cleaning up the rooms.. I was just disappointed in the king suite. My tub was super cracked so I wasnโ€™t able to get in it. It didnโ€™t look enjoyable.. Definitely a disappointment and the only reason why I wanted a king suite! The room is spacious though and the breakfast is good. 4 stars because itโ€™s a good location.. Close to the boardwalk . Ballys, margaritaville etc.

The location is great, Check in is quick, fast at the hotel. with easy access to shopping, sightseeing, casinos (not a gambler) world-famous boardwalk that I truly enjoy walking 5.5 miles . I also like to take trips to Philadelphia via the 551 bus or New Jersey Transit train to the 30th Street Station (the Trading Places movie scene was filmed there). Philadelphia is a great city to visit as a tourist, more shopping. Sightseeing and enjoying the day as a whole.

Very good value & friendly hospitality/great service. Oldish hotel, clean enough for the money spent. Left too early for [complimentary] breakfast which starts @ 7a. <5 min walk to boardwalk, <15m walk to train station. Didn't have any problems & would stay again.

Lets start with the addicts surrounding the hotel. I have never seen so many addicts on the same block and nothing is done about it. The rooms smelled like cigarettes, rooms were not cleaned properly and the air conditioning worked poorly. On top of everything my vehicle was hit in their parking lot and they just told me to report it to the police! they refused to look at the cameras. I would not recommend anyone staying here specially if you are with kids.

when i paid 1400$ for three nights i expected something atleast decent. rooms were dirty there was hair everywhere in the bathroom when we got there the toilet didnโ€™t even work. you step outside of the hotel and itโ€™s like the walking dead. homeless people literally sleeping on the side of the building. best western you should be ashamed to charge those prices and have people deal with that.

Had an attitude from front desk employee as soon as we arrived. Blindsided by $20 a day to park. There was trash in our room, ants crawling on the walls, and HORRIBLE smell. The fridge didn't work. General cleanliness was just very poor. The hotel itself is in a very, very unsafe and rundown area and would not recommend bringing children.

Diana at the Front Desk was just great. The room was crispy clean, very nice . View is just a building.Understandably, it's in the town. It's not right in the vicinity of the beach. 4 minutes drive away though. Free breakfast, microwave and medium size refrigerator really were convenient. Family friendly,I think with those conveniences.

This was a decent hotel. But we had to request room service since they only had 2 workers for housekeeping. So if you didn't request room service/cleaning, you would not be given any. Otherwise, the building is walking distance to the boardwalk so that was convenient for us. And a plus is that breakfast was included. But there were homeless people harassing us in every corner around the building. And the backdoor was never locked overnight and one homeless guy snuck into the building somehow overnight, and slept in the stairs. Which was a big turn off. Otherwise, Thank you Best Western! Had arrived in Atlantic City too early with my family and the Hard Rock Hotel couldn't make an exception (not cool Hard Rock). Tried finding a hotel but everywhere was sold out and I had to get my kids to bed. I tried the Best Western and it accepted my reservation. I arrived and started the check in process, very easy and quick. I had no extra funds on me to pay for parking ($20). The clerk (which I should've remembered his name) not only understood my dilemma and frustration he also waived the parking fee. I always recognize great service and this gentleman was exactly that. The next morning I made sure the manager knew how incredible he was and I couldn't thank him enough. It may be an economy hotel and small, however it was clean, affordable and the most important part is the CUSTOMER SERVICE! I salute this hotel and thank you again for working with me. Your kindness is truly appreciated. Now for the 480,000 followers I have to see this...

Terrible experience this time ar Best Western. No body wash for 2 days, was a whole run around for some body wash i went to the front desk they said I have to wait for maintenance to get there at 9am. When maintenance gets there they tell me I have to call the front desk.. finally the 3rd day in the morning I got body wash. Breakfast is sucks in this place and the ppl working there are very rude and not friendly at all. I got the jacuzzi room and had to ask for extra towels twice. Everything seemed to be a issue with them serving the customers. Diana at the front desk checked me in and couldn't help herself from staring at my partner up down in such a weird way. The whole experience over all has gone from always a 10 to a 1.

very new, flooring too We came in winter and this place has an awesome heater to keep us warm Spacious, very spacious (half a kitchen, one full sized bedroom, one middle sized bathroom) Bathroom is a bit dated Has 2 big cabinets, one big mirror, one LG TV, one window, one queen sized bed (for my room), hair dryer, a stove with 2 burners and a sink, a refrigerator, a couple paintings hanging on wall Great service, welcoming and polite boss/ host Family runned, my room feels like home If this place claims to be a 4 or 5 star hotel and charges more than 100 dollars, i will give it a 1 star. But hey, this is a 1 star hotel now offering 3 star service and amenities, and charging at a fair rate ($70 plus tax), what more can you ask for? Hi everyone. I think this place is way underrated. Here are something about this place: I believe the wall of this place was newly painted, it feels very new, flooring too We came in winter and this place has an awesome heater to keep us warm Spacious, very spacious (half a kitchen, one full sized bedroom, one middle sized bathroom) Bathroom is a bit dated Has 2 big cabinets, one big mirror, one LG TV, one window, one queen sized bed (for my room), hair dryer, a stove with 2 burners and a sink, a refrigerator, a couple paintings hanging on wall Great service, welcoming and polite boss/ host Family runned, my room feels like home If this place claims to be a 4 or 5 star hotel and charges more than 100 dollars, i will give it a 1 star. The hotel is quite nice, actually. Rooms are spacious, it's been recently updated, despite the fact that the building is old which makes things difficult. Breakfast is passable, and the location can't be beat. The neighborhood, on the other hand, is absolute garbage unless you are specifically looking for drugs.

This hotel is located close to the fun, yet not too close to be noisy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Every need is attended to quickly. Feel like family when we stay here.

Great place. They were extremely willing to help with a special request. It's one block from the boardwalk and the Irish pub. On either side within a block or so are the casinos. Very affordable rates for a Friday and saturday. 7-Eleven and liquor store right next door. I would stay again.

The room was very neat and tidy. The decor of the room was nice. Also, the room was spacious. The staff were friendly. The room is located next to a Seven Eleven, so if you were craving a late night snack, or were just hungry, you could go there. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV was a large flat screen. When we checked out, the staff was courteous and friendly, again.
