    My worst hotel/lodge experience Stayed there for just for 1 night with family (we were 5 people), booked a larger room with 3 queen size beds. We go to the lobby, see that the manager arguing with 3 set of customers as the he was not going to accept the 'lower price' those customer booked their reservations with. After waiting around for a 30+ minutes, he finally called on us, while the others were still around this tiny lobby area. He said we could only have a room with 2 queen beds, and 1 twin bed, that is NOT what we booked, but at this point my elder parents are not feeling well anymore after the long wait. So I just signed the paperwork and took the keys to the room. The room must have not been cleaned since 'I can't even guess' The lights had dead bugs in those, the toilet smelled, the floor felt sticky, it was awful. oh BTW, though it stated we would get complementary breakfast, it was NOT true either I tried to talk to my credit card company about the fact that we did not get what we purchased with the card out of this reservation, after 45 days of investigation, the credit card company came back to me saying that the manager had me sign a paper saying 'I cannot ask for refunds' .. how messed up is that? I am guessing a ton of people had done the same before.

    Is what it is. Spent 1 night. 7hrs. I slept good. Burn marks on tub. Dust all over the top of the 1 shelf. I wrote clean me in the dust. Room 203. Let me know if it's still their. Owners aren't tall enough to see top of shelf. 5ft7in or taller you see it.

    The owner was very rude and the room was very dirty with bugs on the cover on the bed. Plus there were cigarette buds on the window sill will never stay here again.

    After a long day of driving my family and I came to stay here for the night . This was the worst mistake I ever made . The room was Filthy. DOOR DIDNT LOCK , ashes was in the drawers . It had gum that someone chew on the window , broken lamps , no pillow cases , toilet and shower didn’t work, dirty seats like someone got unalived in it and SOMEONE UNDERWEAR WAS ON THE FLOOR . The front desk was very rude and dismissive I tried to show him pictures he said he didn’t care stop showing him and he knew it was like that ! he showed 3 rooms and ALL 3 were disgusting ! I couldn’t believe it ! I packed my family up and found somewhere else to stay . Please do not stay here not even for a night !

    This place is the worst of the worst and when I say DO NOT STAY HERE please do not waste your money or your time booking any rooms at this place. As soon as I walk into the room I was scared to touch anything because it was very nasty. The room was dirty as hell. The bathroom was nasty and the shower curtain had MILDEW on it. The room was nothing like it described from the sites. They are falsely advertising their room.

    THEY HATE PETS. Wouldn't let us stay with a 10lb dog that has health issues and couldn't be boarded. I guess they were afraid she would ruin the near condemned motel. They are still clinging to COVID protocols and won't come out of the office to have a conversation about your issues. They conduct every transaction through a small 2x6 window, 3 feet off the ground. Can't hear a word he's saying unless you stick your head in the slot. Makes communication extremely tough. Tried to pawn us off on the 'son' to deal with us, but was never around - if he exists.

    The owners of this establishment are incredibly kind . They made every effort to make my family comfortable.The room was up to date and clean. I was happy to see new hard flooring . I will come back .

    I never received my $20 refundable deposit after speaking with the owner 3 times he said he would refund, and he didn’t! Although its $20, its still my money and the principle of things!! This leads me to believe this is simply just what they do to people.. STEAL their money! I would never stay here again, there was a FLOSS PICK in my bed nestled under the sheet they gave us in replace of a blanket! There were stored mattresses in the room and old folding tables like WHAT!!??????!! The water was lukewarm at best!

    Their remote for their TV didn't wk unless I just didn't no how to use it. That worked out OK cz I was too tired to watch anything any way. Their lock was a little tricky but figured out how to use it. They honored a Mother's Day $5 discount that of which I requested. That was nice of them. Hey Google, where's your request for my shopping experience for shopping at the Boscovs dept store, @ Egg Harbor Township, NJ that's located on Black Horse Pite? I think they should FIRE Lisa D. because THERE IS 1 REASON Y AN EMPLOYEE MIS TREATS, MIS BEHAVES & chooses to dis-regard the safety of her store's customers and that is that she wants to get FIRED. So, I say LET HER HAVE IT (!) WHEN I brought THIS UP WITH SECURITY, SHE FAILED TO record THIS TO THE STORE MANAGER & DIDNT OFFER ME A FORM FOR THIS. MY 2ND ATTEMPT, I FILLED OUT A FORM WITH A HUMAN RESOURCE REP THAT AGREED TO LET ME FILL OUT SOMETHING THAT WENT INTO HER FILE. 4/29/22 WAS WEN this HAPPENED. THE STAFF BEHAVED AS THO THA R MORE CONCERNED ABOUT JUST SAVING $ FOR THE COMPANY THEY WK FOR AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE DAMAGE THRU WORD OF MOUTH THAT 1 CUSTOMER OR 1 EMPLOYEE CAN DO . UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS ARE NOT DEDUCTED FROM their PAY CHECKS JUST FOR APPEARANCES. THEY R SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSES. BOSCOVS SHOULD HELP HER GET UN EMPLOYMENT benefits FOR A FEW WEEKS IF* SHE'S WORTH THE TROUBLE BECAUSE SOMETIMES EMPLOYEES just NEED A BREAK. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT OR HOW A LEAVE OF ABSENCE WORKS AS FAR AS WITH OR W/O PAY GOES , BUT I HAVE HEARD OF EMPLOYERS HELPING THEIR PEOPLE GET PAID FOR periods OF BECOMING TEMPARILY UNEMPLOYED.     There is strange smell in room. There is no laundry room as advertised. The jacuzzi in room was actually pretty cool. Not the best looking but worked great and is very large. Area is very quiet and the view of the water is beautiful.

    The door wouldn't close right you really had to force it. There was a huge stain on the rug and there was a drawer missing. I had just bought an 8th at the botanist and came here to get baked. It's quiet and no one bothers you while you get medicated

    I booked through priceline and jave stayed at many hotels in absecon and never had an issue until booking with royal lodge. We hit a ton of traffic and dodnt arrive until 1am. It tool 25 minutes for the guy to answer the door after the sign said ring bell amd knock on door 101 which we did. After 25 min q man came to the desk and gave attitude as soon as je walked up. Then asled us of we had any pets and i replied yes 1 certified service dog for my husband who has epilepsy. He immediately said sorry no dogs allowed. I told him he was a trained certified service dog for my husband. He said i dont care no dogs allowed. I informed him it is illegal to deny a service dog and he said i dont care. The worst discriminatory hotel ever. I am reporting this place bc what he did is illegal

    It is very conveniently located to the boardwalk. The first red flag was the check in process happened sitting outside on a folding chair and the caretaker was writing everything by hand no computer!We had to clean the room prior to feeling comfortable to bring our stuff in. The bathroom had molded around the shower, caulking, and the room smelled damp. The hotel caretaker seemed annoyed when I asked to see the room before signing any agreement. Upon entering the room, the caretaker started plugging in the refrigerator, and the TV then turned on the AC. Don't book based on the pictures like I did! The pictures show a coffee maker, nope! The pictures show breakfast, nope! We still had a great time, but that is just us. We make the best of every situation.

    There was a black woman's weave hair hanging from the in room sprinkler head. The carpet outside the rooms should say enough about what's happening. It's basically just in a great location so they don't invest anything into making it nice.

    Friendly Service. The owner is a humble person, helpful, very kind, the treatment he gave us was unique, I really loved the service, the rooms was clean and nice accommodation, you have a nice view from the outside of the room, it's pretty quiet.

    Complete dump. Bugs Everywhere... Just do yourself a favor and don't stay there!! You will thank me! Oh and they charge you $10 a car if you bring more than one car.
