Never, ever move here. We still have issues that haven't been fixed since we moved in. For all the money they charge for rent I expect better service. The mice are eating the carpet, they have nested in our furniture. A mouse crawled in my bed while I was sleep. The maintenance department leaves a lot to be desired. They will sign off on work orders but never fix anything.

I lived at Morningside for two years (Summer 2021-2023) and it was nothing but a NIGHTMARE. Pest was a continuous issue. I have never seen that amount of cockroaches in my life. When I informed management, they MOSTLY ignored the problem. Occasionally, we received notices to clear our closets and kitchen cabinets because an exterminator was coming by. After going through all of that to disorganize our apartment, an exterminator will pass by for a few minutes and drop a few sticky traps that you can get for $ 5 from online, and never returned to evaluate the effectiveness. Most of the Leasing Office staff were very unprofessional and didnt care about the tenants. They usually looked angry or was on their phones whenever you visit the office for help. One time, the temperature in the gym went up to 76 degrees Farenheit. I went into the Leasing Office to ask a Hispanic lady to help adjust the temperature because it was too hot. The lady, wearing a long sleeve in the 68-70 degrees temperature leasing office, went into the gym and told me the gym temperature was comfortable and she was not adjusting it. A few weeks later, management started sending out emails to residents advertising the gym. They wondered why people wasnt using it. Our bathroom also frequently had black MOLD-LIKE substances on the wall and roof, because the airflow from the vent was very WEAK. It was a HASSLE getting management to even spray-paint the areas. I called their Corporate Office a few times, left voicemails regarding my complaints, but didnt hear back from anyone. I have lived in many complexes, and I must admit this has been the WORST experience. This is also my first time leaving a comment for an apartment complex. I wish google had a ZERO rating icon, so I could rate Morningside Apartment & Townhomes a ZERO. DO NOT LET FOOL YOU TO MOVE IN. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK- THEIR SERVICE IS RIDICULOUS!

Apartments are nice for the price but I feel like the staff doesn’t provide lots of info unless you ask a bunch of questions. They’re very nice maybe more training? Has the potential to be a 5.

I lived over there for about 8 years in 3 or 4 different apartments building…. I enjoyed my stay while living there. Management did a good job running the place, took care of me and my request if i had any. I haven’t been back since 2017 because i own a house now but I was just checking out the current prices for rent out of curiosity. I would recommend this property

Been here for almost 2 years first things were not getting fixed right. New management things are looking better thanks to Mr. Easy and Mr. Jose for doing great work. Mrs. April has been hopeful as well.

I’ve had multiple issues with maintenance coming to repair things in my apartment. However this morning maintenance tech Darius came to fix my dishwasher and when he couldn’t fix it he was able to get me a new one. I’m extremely appreciative and grateful that he saw it through from start to finish.

They took over 3 months to address my two work orders. When they finally addressed these two work orders, the work was completed in two days or less. Ms. Becky Solloway looked into these matters, and the work was immediately done and completed. Balcony wood, balcony door frame, bathtub and shower really look nice now. Thank you for your assistance Becky.

I am thinking of my new place to call home. I came across Morningside and decided to go check it out. When I got to the leasing office Cindy Mangandi took extremely good care of me. She took on me the tour of the property that was a game changer. Her confidence, patience, and willingness to help was amazing. This is the kind of welcome I look for when trying to find a new place to call home. I think I’ll give it a try plus there’s a lot of updating taking place.

Craig was very proactive. He found a solution and quickly fixed the worn and damaged panel on my dishwasher. Appreciated his effort, as well as his kindness to my little dog.

Just wanted to leave a review about Nyah who came to complete my recent maintenance work order. This is the second or third time I’ve seen her and every time I do, she has a smile on her face. She answered any question that I had without rushing through it or making me feel like it was a bother and she was quick, but extremely thorough.

Yesterday, I made an appointment and went in to view an apartment I was interested in moving into. The lady who was doing the touring was VERY rude to me. I made her aware that I had another appointment at 3pm (I got there at 2). She told me that if I’m impatient that I can leave in a VERY rude way, is that how you speak to someone who you’re trying to sell an apartment to? Absolutely not. When she said that, I just walked out and left. I was very interested in the apartment but if that’s how the staff is, I’d imagine it’d be a nightmare to live there. She lost you guys a sale! Can’t remember her name.

I want to give a big thank you to Craig Parnell. He is with maintenance. He did an OUTSTANDING job. He is the best. He follows up. He communicate if he is delayed. He is 1 in a million. WOW Craig I was overwhelmed with your GREAT customer service skills 👏. . Again many thanks 😊

This is what they offer in exchange, maintenance signs orders that they never completed, and the office staff are very rude, they need to put a person who speaks Spanish but who actually helps people who don't know the language because the person who works there, they act like they don't understand and ignore you and their translation is not good.

The whole time it has snowed not one time Did anyone come shovel it’s no clear paths children have to walk to the bus stops in this my child almost slipped down the steps because of ice it’s still snow outside nobody even had the common decency to shovel the walk way what about the elders what about the children THEY DO NOT CARE the hallway has roaches and the hallways are just trashy smh no one should have to live like this but they pressure you for rent money !
