I lived at The Varsity for 2 years. I really cannot complain about anything. The maintenance was always available. The location is great. Classes were 10~15 minutes walk. A trail for walking/running is right next to you. It was the perfect place to live when I first came to UD. Once I finished my coursework and started my research, I moved to a different place away from campus since I don't need to go to class everyday anymore. I made sure to return the apartment in the same condition I received it and they mailed me the full security deposit in about a week.

My daughter moved into an apartment at Varsity Townhomes recently and the maintenance and office staff has been spot on. All open issues with the apartment were handled promptly by attentive maintenance staff. Also, Beth at the main office recently went above any beyond to help my daughter out of an unfortunate car towing situation. Beth was a complete professional through a stressful situation and was able to remedy the issue and also provided clarity and took measures to make sure the unique issue that happened would not happen again. Thank you Beth and all of the Varsity Townhome staff.

The Varsity is easily the best place to stay on campus. The location meant you were a quick walk from main street and a couple more blocks from any academic building you needed to go to. If I ever did need to go to South Campus I was 2 minutes from the bus stop. Management was top notch and would help out with any issues I had whether it was maintenance or questions about my lease. Beth, Nicole, and the student reps go out of their way to make sure they can get you help/answers you need. The lounge was such a great place to stop in between classes to study, relax, or grab coffee and it’s right on main street. Lastly, the townhomes were spacious and well maintained with 24/7 maintenance . It was a place I could really call home.

The varsity townhomes are in a great location near campus which makes traveling very easy! The main street lounge is a huge advantage compared to other apartments and is what makes living here so unique and great!

Our family worked with Nicole to lease a townhome for our daughter who is a student at the University of Delaware. She was so kind and responsive and really made the whole experience a pleasure. The Varsity’s on-line leasing system is easy to use and thorough. We also found their prices to be competitive and location just north of campus is super convenient. I’ve lived at the Varsity for years and had a wonderful experience. Michael and Don have always been incredibly polite and respectful as well as readily available even on short notice. They consistently respected everyone’s privacy and always gave plenty of notice prior to entering my apartment for any reason. Maintenance is fantastic, ready to help with anything no matter how big or small and also always very respectful. They provide a great environment for students renting apartments for the first time while also maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for non-students. Always dependable, respectful, & kind. I can only hope to have a similar experience at the next place I live.

Staff is amazing and extremely helpful! Maintenance responds quickly to requests. Apartments themselves are well kept and updated! Perfect size!

My friends have a place here and it's so nice. They are so close to campus and are able to share some of the amenities with people at the Rail Yard. The lounge is our favorite.
