Great ambiance, beer, TVs and a variety of food: seafood, burgers, sushi, pizza, outdoor seating and live music in the back. Would have been 5 stars but the flounder both grilled and fried was a bit bland.

Was visiting Brigantine from out of state , gave this place a try . The Pizza was not good at all, hardly any sauce and the cheese was very little also. The pizza tasted old The hot wings were ok … could of been a lot better. Only given 3 stars because the cashier who took my order and who I picked up the order from was very nice. Food was not so good.

This is written to forewarn those who want honest reviews. First, the hostess was pleasant as all. We were seated very quickly at 730 Saturday night. Music night. Wasn't our cup of tea. Water... No lemon available for drinks.. "Only fish meals" "Don't call me Sheila" is horrible. Both, on the rocks and frozen. Draft beer's okay. Crab cakes.... Mediocre at best. Didn't bother keeping for leftovers. Ribs? Believe me, if there was any more sauce slathered on them to cover up their dried out texture, it would be to expose a McDonald's grade of bad. Grade D, but edible. Now, it's one thing to charge the full market price of items from a more reputable restaurant, but cheeez at least put something edible on the plates. It's a bar style venue. I should've expected that kind of food. Salad was okay. Fries were very good. Coleslaw is a bad presentation of chopped cabbage. No flavor. I asked the waitress if they forgot to add the vinegar, sugar, salt, Mayo, etc... Her reply was non-caring at best. With that being said, we left as an unhappy party with no comment to management. I know the place will continue to stay in business, but not with ours or any of our friend's business. ........ I just read quite a few reviews of this place. Most support my thoughts. Others, don't have a very high standard in which to place their money or taste buds.

The food was pretty good, prices were a little higher than in the restaurant then what saw online. The service was very kind and pleasant. They sell still bottles of liquor inside their bar and the outside seating was really great!

Everything is WAY over priced for the quality. I’m not a picky person but the sushi and burger were terrible. Absolutely terrible. Burger was like a hockey puck even tho I went with “medium”, I can’t imagine well done. Also there is no way they hired a traditional sushi person, DO NOT GET SUSHI HERE. I don’t even think they use sticky short grain rice. 18$ for one of the worst rolls in my life. I feel insulted by this place, even the crab dip appetizer was trash. Read the newest reviews. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN.

This is one of my worst food experiences. I rarely write reviews, but this experience warranted it so you don’t make the same mistake. We went as two families ( 4 adults and four kids). The giant menu is not what is advertised. We couldn’t even finish our meals the food was so bad. The waitress was great, but the food was terrible. The Brussels sprouts weren’t roasted, they were steamed and gross. The wings were awful. The burger wasn’t cooked to order and tasted terrible. The calamari was gross. The kids pasta was terrible. The only edible things were the French fries and chicken fingers on the kids menu. It was so overpriced for such mediocre at best food (and mediocre is a gift). Don’t waste your money— our bill was over $200 and it was all terrible.

Service was extremely slow although it wasn't busy. Waited 20 minutes before the waitress took our order. Once ordered, the food came quickly and was delicious. Great ambiance. 8/23 Gave the place another chance after a couple of years. Chose to sit at the bar. It was wonderful! Service was quick, the bartender friendly. The food was phenomenal. Will definitely return and enjoy a bite and and ice cold drink at the bar. (Had clams and calamari...delish)

As always, service and servers are great. Food is okay, but pricey, pricey, pricey. Chicken tenders for my kids $18. Wha!?

We love the Cove. Service and food are very good. Friendly atmosphere, great seating inside and outside. It’s a place where you can feel comfortable to pop in to get a drink at the bar, go with your friends and family for dinner, have lunch on your break with out all the uppity nonsense. Go in watch a game, have a beer or a cocktail. Check them out when they have live music, have dinner with your friends. You can’t go wrong when choosing the Cove, unless you expected to pay more for your drinks and food than you were charged lol their prices are fair - they don’t increase their prices during the summer. Overall, a great place you can tuck in and chill or have a nice night out.

Amazing restaurant near Brigantine beach in NJ! After a full day playing on the waves this is a great relaxing place. Great margaritas and drinks. Outside has a big patio for everyone to enjoy. Service was amazing our server was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. Food delicious! You must try the crab dip, it is out of this world!!

This place has a little something for everyone! Sushi is delicious and the fact I can get it made with brown rice and no seeds is a win win! Friday nights Prime Rib dinner can’t be beat for the price. Joe the manager is such a hard worker and you will find him their most nights. The staff works just as hard and are very accommodating. Atmosphere on game days is energizing. Thank you for all you do!💜

Consistently decent food & service. Sushi is excellent. Many options for seating. Also have alcohol takeout.

Service took way too long, our original server had to leave and a new server came to take our table over. The food order was improperly taken and the sushi error could not be corrected by staff. The oysters were horrible, the oyster meat was still stuck to the shell and torn apart by when schucked. Would not order oysters here again. My wife’s sushi came after I ate but was told earlier the sushi chef left and the order could not be corrected. Overall not happy with the service or food. My receipt had a “don’t make” notation on it, don’t know why. I should not have to find my server to finally get my food served.

We sat outside on a beautiful night! The server was so nice!! He was awesome. We ordered crab dip and it did not disappoint. We decided to get 2 sushi rolls and the crab & shrimp pizza. With a side of sweet potato fries. It fed both of us with some pizza to take home. Everything was amazing!! Delicious 😋

Food was below average. It's was not an appealing view staring at a heavily travelled road. Prices are above average. Beer was warm. Sorry we went. But the name "the cove" was so appealing. Live and learn.

Waitress was nice. Food is just not good. Pasta seems like it was cooked and then left under the heater and dried again. Drinks have no carbonation and they know that it's like that. The fix is to get a drink with no carb in it. Everything was just bad. The prices were high but the quality of food is really bad. Cocktails taste like water with a bit of mio in it. Don't come here. Save your money. Also. There are flies everywhere.

We love this restaurant for casual dining and their delicious food and also they went above and beyond for our private event! We had the whole back room, which they set up beautifully, and they were so accommodating to our party and the prices were very reasonable. It was so easy to plan and the service and staff were top notch to our guests. They stand out on the island (other places don’t return calls/move very slow). I highly recommend them for your next party, ask for Joe!

Our first visit to The Cove was outstanding! The wings were great and so was the French Onion Soup. We loved the bar design with tables built into the bar layout! We would definitely go again!!

The food was pretty average compared to most other restaurants in the area. Some food came out a bit cold, which is somewhat understandable for a busy night. Dinners arrived before the appetizer, and the entree was missing certain components. However our waiter Joe was super accommodating and professional which made the experience a bit more positive for us.

We stopped here just as we were coming into Atlantic City after checking in to our hotel. It was a nice. It wasn’t too busy but you could definitely tell they had regulars who come in daily and if it’s because of the food I can understand why. Their crab dip and mussels were fresh and their food and drinks weren’t overpriced. The chill atmosphere, great music and fantastic food make it a place I will definitely be checking out again sometime! I’d definitely recommend it if you are on vacation or if you are local in Atlantic City. 💯*****

My family and I were spending a few days in Brigantine, NJ at an Air BNB and the homeowners included this place's menu with their other restaurant recommendations. On our last evening in town we decided to give them a try and we are glad we did. What a unique and quirky place! The Cove is a restaurant, bar and liquor store all in one. It is a large place with a very welcoming atmosphere. Their menu is just as unique and diverse. I had their sushi while myan had their meatball pasta. Both were very good as well as their drinks. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our first inside dining since March. Good all around sanitary practices. Our table was properly distant from other dinners which took rhe "worry factor"away. Our Server Patrice was excellent, very engaging, served us with a smile which we could detect through the mask. She made thedinni g experience enjoyabke. Meals were nicely presented, fresh fish, well prepared and tastey.

This was our first time here, the restaurant is nice and big and the food was good. We were the only one's sitting in the dining area and that was a plus. It didn't start picking up until about 4ish and by that time we were finished with our meal.

😐 To be clear, the food was excellent! The unfortunate situation is not related to the food quality, rather it is to how they handled the issue (hence I gave the 3 stars to be fair).
