This restaurant is so charming and cute! Plenty of outdoor seating as well as very comfortable indoor seating. Mabel was our server and she was the sweetest! She helped recommend dishes we could get and she did not steer us wrong. The crab meat Benedict had lots of crab and was so delicious, the chicken and waffles was crispy and you can get it with hot honey. Would love to visit this place again.

I’d say it was the best breakfast place on the island. We had breakfast tacos, avocado toast, Mediterranean omelet , pancakes, and Oracle Benedict. Everything was delicious. Their home fries were exceptional too. The service took long time but that’s because they were understaffed due to labor shortages at the end of the season. Overall, it was a very good food and we will come back again. Update: we came here for dinner too. The food was great. But the service was bad. It took them 55 mins to serve us our appetizer. The waitress hardly ever showed up. We will only come here for breakfast since no on.

As fate would have it, we stumbled upon this spot and were surprised to find a bustling crowd with a 40-minute wait. Despite the delay, I must say it was well worth it, as I had one of the best brunch experiences in a long time. As I savored every bite, I couldn't help but wish that this gem of a spot was located closer to my home. Alas, it wasn't, but I made a mental note to make a return trip to Atlantic City and indulge in their delicious brunch once again. The service was prompt and friendly. All in all, I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Atlantic City or looking for an exceptional brunch experience. It may require a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's well worth it.

We loved this restaurant so much that we came back two days in a row! The breakfast food was wonderful and Elvina served us both days. Her smile and kind nature made the experience feel like we were eating at a friend’s home. Thank you! We will be back!

I’m not necessarily a foodie, that’s really more my wife. But I have to say I don’t think I’ve EVER enjoyed a better breakfast. The Órale Benedict and Chicken and Waffles were AMAZING! If you’re in the general AC area, it’s worth making the trip to Ventnor to have a meal here.

Excellent chicken and waffles as always! The chicken was crispy, had the right amount of crunch with a hint of salt that really elevates the flavor. The service here is always great and the food is incredible. If you’ve never been, you need to visit! It’s very reasonably priced for the quality food that you get.

Enjoyed the brunch a lot, especially my Shot Rib Benedict. Very nice and stylish interior. All tables were decorated with the vases with live flowers👌

Highly recommend to give this place a try. Nice comfortable restaurant with a manageable menu and great options. The Crab eggs benny was super fresh with no fishy taste and poached eggs perfectly done(It however was not a crab cake). The balkan toast was also amazing and a very different option. For a table of 6 the food came out very fast with no issues. The only disappointment was 3 of us wanted the braised short rib benny but it was not available that day. Out of 6 people not a single complaint other than being too full. Staff was very kind. Will without a doubt be back to try the rest of the menu.

I LOVE BRUNCH and this place delivered the best flavors to wake up your taste buds. Our waitress’s recommendations was on point. The Chicken and Waffles was crispy, hot, and fresh! Our Egg’s Benedict was delicious. The classic neighborhood spot.

Wonder Sunday breakfast "al fresco" at Velo Cafe in Ventnor NJ. The food was delicious and innovative. And the service was superb especially our server Mable who was attentive and wonderful!

The Good: The jumbo lump crab meat on the benedict was great and there was plenty of it. The chicken and waffles chicken had a great flavour. The home fries were good. The venue is good and the outside seating was great for a good weather day. Presentation of the food was good. Less so: Coffee was not great (very weak) and we got the check before being even offered a coffee refill. The syrup was cheap given the quality of the other ingredients and given the price of a waffle with no sides. Portions were a bit on the small side.

Great ambiance, tasty and healthy food, decent sized portions. Service could be a little faster but servers were pleasant. Good music too.

Chicken & Waffles get a 3/10 for flavor and a 10/10 for presentation. The chicken was a little dry and not crispy/flaky enough. Might not be their specialty, but could improve. Bacon Eggs Benedict were delicious. Perfectly poached egg, runny yolk and a rich/creamy hollandaise sauce. Overall 10/10 Service was 10/10

One of the best restaurants i have ever been too. I have been coming to Velo for breakfast religiously for years, but tonight I finally got the opportunity to come for dinner! 1. the food is outstanding. I had the Lobster Ravioli and my partner had the Blackend Tuna. Let me just tell you that we didn't even come up for a breath! We devoured our entrees. 2. the chef came out to ask about our meals and he was more than pleasant! He was very personable and interested in our feedback. An AMAZING guy 3. towards the end of our meal the owner came up to our table and made sure that everything was up to par and that we enjoyed our meal and i can say with 100% certainty that everything was fabulous. From service to food i can not recommend this place enough!

Breakfast fare... really enjoyed the waffle smothered with fresh fruit. Really enjoyed the small town diner atmosphere, great food, and quick and great service. Really nice place to have breakfast with friends.

This is hands-down one of the best places to eat at the shore. The staff is great and the food is INSANE! Whether you’re looking for brunch or dinner, Velo is the place to do it. Sal, the chef is a culinary creative genius - just look at these photos! The Fried mozzarella & Tuna Tartare are favorites, but honestly everything on the menu is delicious and the specials are even better. We live in the neighborhood and are always blown away that there’s a place like this within walking distance. Bring a bottle of Asti for Sunday mid-morning mimosas, or a couple bottles of wine and your friends for dinner. Amazing!!

Absolute perfection from the perfectly tender and well-seasoned octopus appetizer, to the crispy-skinned samurai salmon and short ribs. We barely left room for dessert, but thank God we did because the warm and moist apple cake took the…cake. Excellent service by Nicole, and lovely ambiance. 10/10, will be returning for sure.

Had dinner here last night. We ordered the Velo Cafe Salad, lobster ravioli and filet Oscar. Sad to say we were disappointed as we had waited to try dinner here after the summer crowds had left. The waitress and busboy were terrific and very attentive but the food was just okay especially at the high price point for Ventnor, we expected better. The lobster ravioli were in a sweet, watery red sauce with crab and shrimp. The filet was good after we got it back, we ordered it pink but it was very rare. The salad was just okay and the bread was served refrigerator cold. I would not go back for dinner although breakfast was good both times we went. Bottom line when you pay $110 for two without drinks or tip you want to feel like you had a really nice meal and this didn’t live up to the price point ☹️

Loved this place! Super cute, friendly staff and delicious food! I had the burrata toast with an over easy egg and it was really great. The rest of the table also loved their food. Super interesting menu options, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on here

First time visiting Velo Cafe, and I had a wonderful experience! The food was great. My waitress Alura was fabulous, she was attentive and kind. I'd definitely recommend this place to others, and for sure come back when I'm visiting Ventor!

Salads were exceptional—large portions with a variorum fresh ingredients. We had the Balkan and the Vegan-both good healthy choices. Traditional breakfast choices are also tasty and filling. We tried them too. Yes, the place is a little small but it has a great corner location in walkable downtown Ventnor. Enjoy. We are definitely coming back!!

Very nice place for breakfast, brunch, lunch... good selection of food and everything we had was really good. Servers are very friendly and helpful. We had this combo to share and it was more than enough for two of us, we could not finish it. They also have very good espresso. If you get a chance definitely check this place out.
