😐 The Acme is fine. The owner needs to spend some of his rent money. The parking lot needs paving bad. A lot of senior citizens park here, and the old surface makes it difficult for them to get around. People often mention store,

This center is more vacant then I remember. A lot of empty store fronts. But those that survived are very good to the local people the live in the area. Food is good at the eating establishments. Acme is the main reason to go there. The restaurant there is very good. Other than the closures a place to grocery shop and find inexpensive items at a decent price. Acme prices are high though.

It was beautiful, quiet, and welcoming. We walked every day and was greeted as we are at home. Thank you for a great visit. I had left Meditation at home. The pharmacist there was quite helpful,. getting with my health team to provide me enough to cover me for my stay everyone was so professional. Thank you again for a wonderful Christmas.

I live here. Good store,. But summer time they have increase on their store products. I go there so I don't have to leave the Island,. So convenience store on the island the prices are cheaper off the island of course. But overall good store.

We go shopping 🛍 at Acme Grocery store. Nice produce, lots of good items. Just a little bit pricey.

Like many areas in our nation Brigantine Island is undergoing a transitional infrastructure metamorphosis as well. Their "Town Center strip mall"shops are a visual reflection of the economic hardships of transition - like the effects of COVID-19- mixed with current rebuilding recovery efforts. Larger, more modern stores are emerging and are offset by traditional, "retro" stores literally struggling to keep its doors open; others are closed and boarded up completely. Because the "Island" has an appealing funky flair perhaps the community and federal relief funds could/ should pull together and assist the remaining "mom & pop" stores in modernizing their venues retro style, and upgrade the Island's marketing materials to attract vacationers to visit each of the various places on the Island. Perhaps?

Acme has expanded but very weird to see the deli clerk put half his body in the case to get food out for containers... such as pasta salads or macaroni salad

Shop here alot because it's really the only supermarket on the island but...they need to do a better job keeping the shelves stocked, especially during the summer months when all the shoobies swamp the island because they shop for the entire summer at one time and the shelves are empty...it would seem to me like a no brainer, flood of summer people, increase the incoming merchandise....hello!
