I recently took my girlfriend to Setaara for her 31st birthday 😊. The food here was absolutely amazing !! On Saturdays there is a prefix menu for you to choose from including an appetizer, soup, main entree and dessert. The portions for the main entree are pretty large and everything was yummy. The baclava with ice cream was my absolute favorite. Oh and their selection of hot tea is pretty good as well. The decor of the restaurant is so lovely and they also had live music which was a plus. The only down side was the size of the restaurant. The restaurant is rather small and the seating arrangements are pretty close together without leaving much room to move around. All and all we will definitely be returning

I honestly would have felt bad if I didn’t leave this restaurant a review. Every single dish served from the bread during the first 5 minutes of being seated to the ice cream all the way at the end was phenomenal. It’s a little pricy but truly worth it. We had an amazing hostess (Jessica) and the owner himself came to check on us so that’s the level of customer care we were given. It’s a shame that this restaurant is only local to Atlanta, I would have loved a chain back home in New Jersey. God bless!

Dinner at Setaara last night was amazing! Excellent food, atmosphere, and overall experience. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the spices on the Afghan rice were mouth watering. The main courtyard was under maintenance, but they encouraged us to check it out and take pictures. One of the owners was also very informative about the pictures framed on their walls of historic cultural events. We highly recommend Setaara and look forward to dinning there again!

The food, the atmosphere and service. Entire package is what you find at this off the beaten path restaurant. My meal was outstanding. Service was probably the best I've ever had. Hamid was our server. He was on top of everything. The atmosphere really makes you feel like you are in another country. It's trendy, yet authentic. We sat in a both with decorative pillows and a beautiful chandelier. Just a wonderful experience overall. I will be back.

When you enter this restaurant it looks super small and the door to get in is pretty narrow. You’ll think you’re entering a regular restaurant but it is actually beautiful inside. The atmosphere is really colorful and comfy. The food was very flavorful, I got the mix of lamb and chicken kabob and an order of the meatballs with rice

Everything about this restaurant is perfect! Fine dining, but only $40/person for a 3 course meal is a great price. (Saturdays cost more if you look on their website, the negative reviews I saw seem to have been from people that went in blind). Perfect for our anniversary dinner!

It is a French Afghan restaurant. This place is absolutely gorgeous. It is beautiful with a very unique and varied interior for dining. I had a private little room and loved it. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions are large. Even the tea is absolutely over the top. You are welcomed upon arrival. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make your dining experience perfect and memorable. My waitress Rachel really went out of her way to make sure that everything was to my liking. I am glad they participated in AC Restaurant Week. Thank you for that. I loved the escargot, the Mantu ,and cardamom tea and house vanilla ice cream with cardamom. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

I was blown away with every detail of my experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere and decor is beyond beautiful. Your experience will be authentic and unforgettable. I already can't wait to return !

A hidden gem in the heart of Atlantic City. Beautiful ambiance, amazing service plus attention from staff; and best of all delicious food. Please visit you won’t be disappointed. Perfect spot for celebrations, dates or dinner. Will be going back when in town again. If you don’t know what dish to decide on, staff is well versed and will help you make a great choice. Loved the baklava for dessert and the ‘dumplings’ as a main dish. FYI you can bring your own wine and they will uncork🍷 since they don’t sell alcohol.

A unique and much needed breath of fresh air. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of cuisines in this area that open the door to new culinary worlds. But this fusion… it’s unique, it’s delicious, it’s unpretentious, and it’s much needed. This was my second visit and I wasn’t disappointed. Disclaimer: I do not rate based on ridiculously pristine service or unrealistic decor. It’s about the food. And this food is delicious. Not to say the service wasn’t good, because it was. But my satisfaction stemmed from the Uzbeki Chalau, to the herbal green tea, to the lovely Firni. Don’t be shy. Explore your options. Expand your palate. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. Notable mentions: my first visit I had the Escargots A La Bourguignon and Setaara Kabob. Both very, very good.

Came here for my birthday dinner had such a great experience!! The place has such a beautiful atmosphere. Our waiter was the best he took his time and explained the menu in full detail and gave great recommendations. All the staff were very pleasant and gave great customer service. Can’t wait to go back in the spring/summer time!!!

I love this place! This was our first experience here and it will definitely not be our last! The atmosphere is adorable! It’s very intimate…the restaurant is small, but gives you enough room to not feel smothered. The place is beautifully decorated. The waiter was very informative and gave us great suggestions for dinner. We went as an early new year’s celebration. Everything from the bread, soup, appetizers, and dinners were delicious! Very fresh ingredients, food came out hot, and was very flavorful. They have separate waiters walking around at all times to meet any needs you have. Everyone had a pleasant attitude and was very welcoming and not to mention there was live music. Lovely place and definitely worth the price tag!

What a beautiful gem in Atlantic City! My family had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday here recently. Our waiter Edwin was phenomenal! He shared the history of the restaurant, was attentive, and had great food suggestions for us! The table favorites were the chicken kabobs and cajun salmon. We will be back!

Entering the restaurant it has a nice middle eastern theme. Inside the restaurant it is very neat and clean. Service was excellent staff was very responsive and friendly. The food was great however the quabli pulai is great but the chicken has light flavor instead of the spicy zesty taste. The Uzbeki palau is excellent and shrimp Pernod was great as well. Overall 5 star in my books.

A perfect date night place. My husband and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Although the location is not as what we expected the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We are from NY so we had our fair share of Mediterranean food and this food was delicious. The food is 7/10, service 10/10, place 10/10.

This was such a special GEM, here in Atlantic city. Very unique atmosphère, with absolutely amazing food. Even though they were short of one of thier soups du jour, they easily acommodated by giving extra deserts. However, dont expect this to be a cheap place, this I top tier fine dining but we all agreed that the price value defintely matches what you get quality and quantity in food! The service members and owner were amazing to attend to us and insure we were all having an amazing expérience!

Such a unique place to eat, I loved it! My party of 7 had a few hiccups and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and offered a variety of cuisines to try and explore! My only regret is I didn’t get the mint tea after dinner!

If in Atlantic city, this place is a must. The food is delicious. I would recommend to try only Afghani food. Everything we ordered was outstanding. For drink we ordered watermelon juice and it was fresh <3. The ambience is lovely. I am taking out a star just because the server didn’t do a good job.
