We had dinner last night at Scannichios for the first time and we really found everything to be very good. Waitstaff was really pleasant, quality of food was great and just a nice relaxing dining experience. Great chicken and veal parmigiana. Table next to us were regulars and told us you never need to use a knife; but I did to avoid getting sauce on me (lol). It’s a small place but glad to find a local neighborhood place that I know I will return to on a regular basis !

It’s a mom pop kind a place , but the food is delicious. They also customize what you want. That means it cooked to order. We are Italian and hard to please. But this is really old school cooking like in Italy. The atmosphere is very homey .

My son and I had dinner here and it was fantastic. I am not an Italian expert but I do think maggianos and Olive Garden are terrible if that helps to assess where my bar is. It is a whole in the wall with a broad menu. I would love to go back and try other things!

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on a recommendation while visiting Atlantic City. We ordered the Shrimp Francaise and Lobster Ravioli, Limoncello cake, and were recommended a bottle of Moscato to accompany. The Shrimp Francaise was so delicious, that we went back the next day to get it again for lunch, this time with the steak piziaola which was huge and flavorful (came with a heaping side of linguini topped with a sauce so yummy it could be considered a dish in itself). Staff were sweet and accommodating. If I visit Atlantic City again, Scanniccio's will be at the top of my list of places to eat at.

We stopped in for dinner the same weekend as a big 3 day concert in Atlantic City and tho they were full with reservations they welcomed us and found us a place at the bar. It was my third time there and the food and service was great each visit. I am calling today to book a party of 6, none that have been there before, I am confident they will not disappoint . It could have been 5 stars but some things were just off. I had the saltimbocca which had canned mushrooms (that's a no-no for a $25 dish,!) And the prosciutto was non existent. My wife had the schrimp franchise which was very tasty. But, should have had two more shrimp to make it worth the $27 (skimp on the shrimp....) Add Two salads @ $10 each brought the entree price above $35 per person. After the main meal, we had cappuccino's which was a shot of espresso with canned whip cream on top! (No froth!) The whip cream made the espresso cold! Not worth the $9. Chef Gordon Ramsay would have a field day here! This could be a five star restaurant but they need to step up their game. Especially since they're charging 5 star prices....

A really good restaurant with excellent food and Gina, the best bartender/host/server/joke teller in Atlantic City. Started off with escargot which were tasty especially with the Italian bread and butter. Got the special Veal Chop Parmesan which was probably the best parmesan dish I've ever had and the chicken saltimbocca, excellent as well. For dessert had the ice cream bomba and tiramisu, both very good. Only negative would be that it was quite expensive, which would keep me from going more often, which I would like to do since we had such a great meal, a fun experience and really good service from everyone at the restaurant. I was really excited to try Scannicchio's. I called to make sure they weren't booked up. The gentleman on the phone said 7:45pm should be good. When I got there, they said we could sit at the bar. Maybe the guy on the phone thought he told me about the bar but he did not. We ended up leaving disappointed and not eating there. We ended up at Tony's Baltimore Grill where we were welcomed and given a booth.

Stuffed artichokes (here and at the South Philly location) almost as good as my grandmother used to make. Traveled to AC just for one. The waitstaff very nice. Will be back.

This spot is definitely an A.C. hidden gem. Ordered lobster ravioli and the portion size was perfect and delicious. My dinner companion had Pollo alla Siciliano and raved about it. For dessert was limoncello cake and vanilla gelato. I will definitely be returning!

Ate here tonight for the 1st time, food was great! We had the Veal saltimbocca and a seafood pasta dish. Everything was delicious, and a good portion. Apps were also very good. We will be back for sure!

We called the day before we wanted a reservation and they called the next day with our time. This is a cool, intimate little restaurant. The food is fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and nice portions. With a party of 4 the appetizers, main course and dessert was very easy on the wallet. We frequent Atlantic City often and we will be back again.

Hidden Gem in Ducktown. Read about this in the newspaper and so impressed with the authentic old Italian Atlantic City, atmosphere and food. Had the calamari and shrimp fridablo which was delicious . The veal parmigiana was a large portion and tasty. Highly recommend

Outstanding Italian “old school “ menu. Came out piping hot and you could tell it was fresh. Veal Scungilli Artichokes Escargot Owner and service were great!
