Beautiful park. Man made lake in the middle. Soft playground for the kids. Basketball court, swim club (open during summer...dunno if membership and registration required), soccer field, dog park and a trail around the area. Restroom located near the playground area. Lots of benches for some alone time to read, rest and reflect. Some pictures of information for the area animals (& plants?). Some bird houses. Lots of trash receptacle along the trail to maintain park cleanliness. I bet it is safe also because its located near the township police department. The Atlantic county public library is nearby.

It is a nice park that is dog friendly. We took our two dogs there and a baby in a stroller. There is a nice paved path around the lake there. Picnic tables and a large fancy playground is there too. No dogs allowed in the playground. Dogs have their own playground as there are two fenced areas with sand covered ground. One is for 35 pound or less sized dogs and the other one is for larger dogs.

In town visiting & wanted a pet friendly place to take my beloved fur bestie. She enjoyed the walk around the lake & meeting other fur babies in the dog park. I also noticed a HUGE children's park. This park was very peaceful & clean. Next time I'm visiting, I'll come by again!

Beautiful park to take your doggo for a walk! A lake surrounded by a paved path with beautiful flowers. There’s an off leash fenced-in area where doggie bags are available too. There’s a separate area for dogs under 35 lbs and over 35 lbs. My dog loved the friends he made. 🐾

I've lived in Jersey for 6.5 yrs now and worked in Galloway the entire time and I didnt know there was a back side to Patriot Lake Park lol. My husband new about it and we took our dogs to the dog park in the back part of the park. The parking lot is accessible from 6th ave in Galloway. The parking lot is big enough that even on a busy day, theres parking. There is a really nice play ground that was packed with children when we went and then it was a 2 min walk to the dog park. The walking path circled all the way around the lake and on the other side where the municipal complex was there is a gazebo (this is the only side I knew of.) The dog park is a nice size for and has separate parks for big dogs and little dogs. The dog park is made of sand so be ready for sand to get into your shoes, boots, sneakers, etc. The people there were friendly and aware of their dogs and if they got too rough. All in all a good park for Galloway

Nicely appointed little park with a walking trail around the lake. When the fountain is running it's very appealing. Quiet and peaceful. There is a large playground for the little ones. Nice spot for families and pets. Tons of parking.

As usual. Dog poop everywhere. I counted 5 different piles. Disgusting and unsanitary. I try to go to Absecon bc they keep the park clean.

A great park for dogs! Nice walking path, loads of clean up stations, and off leash area. People clean up after themselves, and the dogs are always enjoying themselves.

I am posting a comment about all the vandalism I have been witnessing at patriot Park for the past few years and it has been very upsetting. I see knocked down signs, loved ones plaques that go missing, vandalized trees, and trash cans pushed over with debris on the ground. I’d like to advise anyone and make aware that whoever is thinking about planting a memorial tree for their loved ones to be very careful. It is in my best hopes that the park gets better cared for in the future and near future. Thanks Sincerely

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a cool play area for kids of all ages. Plenty of things for toddlers and older kids to climb and slide on. There are quite a few baby swings, about six big swings, and two of the adult + baby swings. A bunch of ways for kids to get up the playground - ladders, rock climbing walls, a ramp. Picni...

πŸ‘ Their campground is a hidden gem. Very beautiful and quiet little place. I've never been here with more than a few camp sites occupied. Thier shower house could use a serious update. You can use the Smithville Recreation center showers and bathroom which are way nicer. But both are always clean. You...
