(writing as of today 2021 of this year) the egg harbor city lake is very clean, the new manager (which is my mom) is the best manager in the whole world ❤️❤️❤️ and i am proud of her!!! the life guards are good at their job! please come to this lake! thank you! ❤️

I grew up coming to this lake and I will say the new management ruined this place. This old blonde haired lady with horrible teeth patrols the place like shes a cop. Her and her life guards are just harassing people. You re cooler and bags are also subject to search. Theyre just taking it to a higher level and because or that, I wont be back. The place was not crowded at all like it used to be...especially for a weekend. I suspect other people are getting the same vibe.

have been going to the Lake for the past 2 years and we used to love it, the people in charged were amazing, very polite, extremely respectful. so we decided to go this year again, to my surprised they changed the manager, and believe me, it was a very bad surprised. we had to leave early, because the manager kept on screaming at all the people at the lake, not to get in the water!!!! the reason why we couldn't get in the water was that supposed it was thunder, so they closed the water for half an hour, and from half and hour it when to 2 hours, we never heard any thunder, but everyone was following the rulers ,why can't they tell the kids that were doing this? it was very disrespectful, and uncomfortable, for everyone that was there, I usually don't take the time to write reviews!!! but my god, learn how to treat people, we are paying to used the lake, we are not there for free, don't we deserved respect? Really I hope something is done about her behavior.

This place is where u want to come after a long work week to relax. Juan and his beautiful Wife are Extraordinary people they welcome you like if your family, always with a smile on their face and the food from Kathy’s kitchen is a taste of the island, Puerto Rico. Delicious! I come once a week and I always enjoy myself with my family. Thank you to the Riveras for making my Family Sunday a great experience. Bendiciónes. God bless. 😍

Great alternative for our primary lake “bass river” very well ran and closer to our house. Management is a little stricter then bass river but keeps everyone in line.

Under new management. They are amazing people friendly and very helpful. Food great music awesome. Beat lake in area.

Love it, its a great place to have a cookout with your family and friends, very relaxing and a great atmosphere, very kid friendly and clean, the grills and tables are a great add on to have a cookout and sit around.

Nice peaceful place. Water was a bit turbic. Some bits of trash in lake. Sign stated no smoking...but had ppl smoking there.

Nice place to hang out with family, water is ok , red but not as dirty as other lakes I've been.

Started going to this lake about a year ago,and have since made this the only lake I go to. This year there is new management. Tommy the manager is great, keeps the lake and beach immaculate! The workers are also doing something to help maintain the environment. Lifeguards are always at their post doing their job as well. Highly recommend this lake!

Nice family picnic area

The place looks decent, we wanted a grill and looking empty they said there wasn't one, they didn't let us use ours so we decided to leave and not go in.
