So I like the free parking and admission. Well it’s clean for a free beach. Water is okay well it’s ocean not a pool. Can’t ask for better. Parking is free, but come early to get spot. We got in around 11am, and there was plenty of parking spots. Otherwise you will have to look for it at nearby streets or there is also some empty area near some playground and construction site. But I’m not entirely sure about those. It has restrooms behind the guards building it looked nice from outside and my mom said it was clean. sign says don’t feed birds and some family didn’t even bother to say anything to their kids. Some would leave their trash. That why we can’t have nice things smh. For the size I expected longer and bigger beach, because it was starting to get crowded.

Took my granddaughter to Atlantic City Beach. She loved it. It's clean. It's not overcrowded. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. The beach is clean. The lifeguards keep a watchful eye

I love Atlantic City Beach! There's places for quiet and busy beaches as well near music if that's what you're looking for.. There are no beach tags required. Large mix of people are always friendly. And you can walk for miles. With kids you can go up on the boardwalk, go on the rides, grab a slice of pizza, get ice cream, play mini golf and so on.

The water here is so clean! You can actually see through it. Very hard to find a beach like this. I love how wide the beach set up area is. You won’t have other family evading your personal space. Trash cans on the beach for everyone to you. There is umbrella/chair rentals on the beach and the workers even set up for you. (Great service). The board walk has so many things to do, from (clothes shopping, restaurants, bars, and even a CASINO!) You will have to pay street parking, I suggest not settling for the first parking lot you see. Prices are different every half block. One parking lot would say $10 for 4hr parking but another will say $8 for 8hrs. I found $7 for 8hrs half block from the boardwalk and I came at 11am. Come to this beach and enjoy life! Leave all the negativity at home.

Atlantic City has so much to offer. Given that it’s a free beach and you have abundant street parking/ cheap parking options, the boardwalk has a bunch of things to offer - great restaurants, games, drinks, shopping & so much more. Easy access to casinos and some amazing beach sundowners! The best part according to me is that you can drive to & back from Jersey. You don’t have to stay the night unless you want to and still spend an entire day packed with activities. Also, tanger outlet mall is right there - for people looking to shop over holiday weekends while your family is hanging at the beach! 😀

It was a very cold winter day when we went to the beach in Atlantic City. I love how the Boardwalk connects the beach to the businesses. The beach was still in great shape for being cold and rainy. It was 25° - 30° while we were there. Overall I’ll come back - when it’s warmer!

We had a great time here. The beach was huge, lots of room for everyone. It was crowded but not overly so. Lots of parking, a boardwalk, lots of places to eat, drink, listen to music and lots of casinos.

Love coming to this beach. It’s free, and if you know where to look you can find plenty of free parking. There are showers on the boardwalk, no more sand in the cars. The water is clean and pretty clear. Bring your beach gear and toys. Have fun and soak up the sun!

It's great if you like swimming with trash. This beach is disgusting. They have workers standing around on the boardwalk, and nobody is cleaning the beach. Even the lifeguards don't care. These are just 2 pictures, but you can take one every 10 feet and see trash. Papers, cans, plastic bottles, etc. No wonder it's free!

Long stretch of board walk good for jogging and biking. Not the best swimming area. Just lots of piers for fishing.

We drove straight to the beach and used A& K parking. The woman was nice. It was very close to the boardwalk. On our right was the handicap ramp and to the left were public restrooms. It was very busy and the stalls were decent enough. Highly recommend water shoes. Both kids were complaining of hot feet, especiallyon the sand. It was packed and the lifeguards were very strict about forcing everyone into one main area eventhough there was plenty of ocean and would have been much more enjoyable if all the bathers weren't cramped into a certain section. Quite frankly I feel like when you go to the ocean you take your chances and shouldn't be forced by a couple teenage lifeguards to stay herded like sheep. They were constantly whistling and yelling at beach goers to move. Safety first I suppose. The sand has fine shells mixed into it. And it was super hot. Mostly I'd recommend it. My son was done very quick he got knocked over by the waves several times and wanted to leave ASAP. First time for them seeing the ocean.

The beach is just ok. Will not go here unless its a casino trip. Not well kept and a bit untidy. You will find other beaches along the coast that you can head to instead. In fact, the Atlantic city is not for beach. It’s for the casino!!! There is a good broadwalk along the beach, which is good with multiple arcades, food places etc.

First time being back sine pre-pandemic and although it has changed, while we were here the weather was nice, the beach was clean, the water was warm and nice, the boardwalk shops were not the greatest as it showed they were severely hit by the pandemic but the Steel Pier was great for the kids, the showboat resort was awesome for the kids with a nice size waterpark and all the amenities, it was a great stay. The hotel staff were great, no matter where you were although I can't say they same for the people working in the local restaurants. Sorry, but when a family of 4 spend $80.00 american for taxes or tip for breakfast, we'd like to think some pleasantry and a friendlier environment is warrantied.

It was a place we dreamt to be in for a long time. We came from India and were smitten by the reviews, pictures, amenities extended in this particular sea beech for a long time. This time we made it. The beach is very long.. the slope is adorable, waves are moderate, the sand very of fine grain... and towards the water, you can walk with rubber slippers on. Most importantly, the entire mile long beech is so clean... you may lie down even without resting on the chairs. From our hotel Bally's where we stayed, it was just 10 minutes' slow walk and you touch the Atlantic Ocean. A wonderful experience. Even simply walk ing on the Board deck with one side roaring sea and on the other side shops selling various items... of course, there were plenty food outlet. Our overall experience is superb.

The beach is excellent - the surrounding areas more than a block away from the boardwalk and casinos, not so much. Went to a Country Music fest on the beach in front of Caesars and Bally's.

I know there are a lot of opinions out there about Jersey Beaches.. I’ve been going to different Jersey Shore Points since I was a child and have always had a GREAT TIME! As an adult I’ve frequented AC Beach quite a bit along with the Casinos of course! I’ve been lucky enough most times that they’ve had pity on me and sent me Room Offers so I get to enjoy the beach, the people & the night life for a reduced if not free rate! haha Don’t listen to what others have to say, experience the AC Beach for yourself!!!

We love AC. Always so much to do. We fish in the morning and then hit the casino or just relax.

Please wear sturdy-soled shoes on your feet when visiting this beach. The sand is full of trash, broken glass and other dangerous debris.

It's not OCMD, the beach is dirtier. However, it was still nice! Who doesn't like the beach?
