Signature Smiles is a nightmare. They bill for services not rendered, they send patients home as you are sitting there and tell the most preposterous stories. I saw them send an obviously indigent young man while I was waiting for my appointment telling him the dental hygienist 'had an accident' and they are not taking appointments. What I didn't know then was... he was the lucky one!!! From what I understand Signature Smiles doesn't really exist any more. They are now owned by Blackford Dental Management. And Blackford Dental Management does not answer complaints and does bill for work that was not provided. i call to make an appointment for a cracked tooth. I am not a regular patient there. I mean, I tried. I had come previously for a cracked tooth and I really liked the one dentist. So I made an appointment for a cleaning and x-rays assuming Signature Smiles would become my new dental provider. Six canceled appointments later (and a story about their just being a crunch but things would open up later) I gave up and went to dentist near my near my house for a cleaning and x-rays. And I still liked the dentist there so when I cracked another tooth, I took my x-rays and came back. I was really surprised. The tooth was on the lower right all the way in the back. And I had with me a full set of x-rays. But I have had dentists take one additinal x-ray before filling a tooth. The last time I was there, they asked me if I agreed to an x-ray and had me sign a form and I didn't see anything untoward when they took that first x-ray. Then I was told the first x-ray didn't come out and they took a 2nd x-ray. And I wasn't thrilled but I let it go... Imagine my surprise when she came back for third x-ray on the other side of my mouth!!! I asked what was going on and she said she was taking a set of bite wings. And I mentioned the full set of x-rays in my truck and the cracked tooth that I had told the receptionist was the specific reason for my appointment. THEN, the dentist comes in and tells me her last day was Tuesday and they were closing the office. They were only taking emergencies, which does not really explain why they took a set of bite wings without my permission and tried to get me to agree to a crown, right there. As we all know, crowns are paid for in advance and take several weeks from first impressions to finished porcelain. It was a Wednesday, her last day was in six days. They were sending patients home because they had no staff. Why the bite-wings? And what, they would take the money for the crown and then what.... So now they are billing me for four bite-wings that they never took and for an appointment they made under false pretenses. Signature Smiles is a nightmare....

If i could rate this place a zero I would. Firstly, they are very unprofessional and quite "ghetto". They continuously rescheduled my appointment and when it was finally time for my appointment they canceled on me because the hygienist would not be available. I am beyond upset and would encourage any person who can afford to go to a DECENT place to do so. Do not waste your time and money at this office.

Okay, we always have to wait a really long time but I'm patient so I've never complained about that. I wouldn't even be writing this review except today the care was unacceptable! I waited 2 and a half hours to get my teeth cleaned. The hygienist I got was probably overworked and really angry. She kept saying how she had to get out of here. Then after waiting for TWO AND A HALF HOURS, she was done in less than 10 minutes. I was tearing up so bad and I have a really high pain tolerance! She basically went godzilla on my teeth and gums. It still hurts so much. I understand she was overworked today but I was the last patient which was really annoying to begin with but I can never go back here again after the lady took all her anger out on me. I'm writing this review to share my horrible experience. That's how much it sucked!

I, the disgruntled consumer just had a very rude over the phone encounter with a representative from the infamous, ghetto "Signature Smiles" of Atlantic City. When I called to schedule an appointment for my two children I was told that I couldn't schedule an appointment for 4/1/2019 because my insurance doesn't kick in until 4/1. So I then inquired about scheduling an appointment by paying out of pocket, and of course I was told "sure." Since I don't technically, currently have insurance I was told to call back when I get it. Here's the problem: you're only allowed to schedule appointments if you have insurance not pending insurance but there's an exception. If you have cash you can pre-schedule yourself an appointment, but if you have insurance pending you can't. What if I told the representative that I had cash and scheduled the appointment, but in actuality I had insurance pending that kicks in the day of the appointment, they would've never known the difference. Even if the insurance kicks in the day of the appointment, I still should've been able to at least schedule an appointment. This is something that we must stop. We as consumers need to stop patronizing businesses that don't respect the American people. This, the continual fleecing of America is unconstitutional. These ghetto businesses don't respect the American people unless they are able to financial gouge you before they fiscally rob you, unless you have cash, but even with cash you can still at least schedule an appointment. I would NOT recommend this business to ANYONE.

The place is very dirty. Last time my daughter went there for tooth pain as she had cavity and food was getting stuck.,the doc could not even recognize that there is a problem. All he said that there is gap between her teeth. He did filling for some other teeth. My daughter came home with numb mouth and same pain in her teeth as the dentist did not see any problem with it. Horrible

Don’t waste your time unless you’re willing to wait for over an hour after your scheduled appointment. We were scheduled an hour and a half after they opened and the waiting room was full (15 kids or more) when we arrived. They are understaffed and overbooked. Like another post said, if I could give 0 stars I would. The receptionists are nice, I can’t complain about that. And I didn’t expect to be seen at the exact appt time, but an hour and fifteen minutes is a bit excessive, especially when it’s an infant patient. Won’t be coming back.

This place is absolutely terrible. I had an appointent at 1pm and I didn't even get called back for nearly two hours. When I did get called back, the nurses were not very friendly and they left me in the back room for ANOTHER HOUR. I asked when they would get started and they just kept saying "In a few minutes." After taking my xray, the nurses ignored me and instead started chatting in the hallway. They did not even tell me what was wrong with my teeth! AVOID THIS PLACE! It's overcrowded, everyone is miserable, and their service sucks!

Worst dentist office ever, you would be better of fixing your teeth by yourself thank coming here. And if you decide to come to this place make sure you give yourself plenty of time as you will be waiting for ours just to be seen, or you will find out that suddenly when you come your appoitment will be canceled. If you come with your kids for appointment at 3pm you might not be seen till 6pm for just cleaning. Although some of the employees are nice the rest is questionable. Too many staff with not enough Dr. Should have learn my lesson from before but figur Dr. Jerry is a good one so I stayed. Big mistake. Do not recomend this place to anyone.

Please don't go here. I asked for the most experienced person and when I got there, their most experienced dentist told me there is nothing wrong with my wisdom teeth. Mind you I can fit a quarter of my nail in the gap from rot and I told him so and to look again. I had a whole diagram of my teeth beautifully done which explained ALL the problems and pain I'm experiencing and basically he dismissed it all and said ain't nothing wrong with me. He already got something extremely hard to miss way wrong and this is their most experienced person. My teeth have been grinded down from anxiety and it's visibly clear as day as well. Apparently that isn't a problem either even tho I guess I'm imagining the pain. I guess I'm wrong cuz they have 50 years experience right? And I have to spend more time in pain while I try to locate someone who will actually help me not be in massive pain all over anymore as well as the damage gets worse the longer it takes. If I lose teeth cuz this, there will be liability here.
