Would be 5 stars except for very limited parking, vigorously enforced by police. Most dogs very well behaved. Most owners likewise. It can become pretty crowded, but the dogs like all the new friends they can meet. Best on windy days. On calm days the biting flies can be insistent, but that is the case on any south jersey Beach.

Wonderful beach.Perfect for dogs to run around and play off leash while you enjoy the beach with them. People who come here are dog lovers and they are very friendly and kind towards each other's pets. Parking can be challenging because this beach does get pretty crowded during the weekends. Be sure to get there early in the day or later in the afternoon so that you don't run into crowds and find parking in the lot right by the beach area or across the street from the beach parking area.

One of the best dog beaches we’ve been to. Our little toy maltipoo at 7 lbs still had a ton of fun with the other dogs. Also, super close to OCNJ and about an hour from Philly.

Great beach to bring your pup at any time of the year, just make sure you pick up after your dog, it's the responsible thing to do. Small parking lot for about 30 vehicles, you can park in the other lot across the roadway but no shoulder parking, will be ticketed. Far end of beach is closed off to protect wildlife and bird nests.

I love it here but I think people forget that this is a dog park. It's on a beach but still, you're supposed to be there for an hour and leave. These are protected wetlands and cars will be towed. Please don't bring an umbrella and a cooler. Just let your dog have fun and leave.

Gave it 4 stars just because of the parking. Otherwise, it’s the perfect place to spend a day with your dog/dogs! All of the dogs seemed to be in heaven! The “humans” seemed to having a good time as well. Being able to safely let our dog off the leash to just run, explore, etc was the best. The beach is protected, much larger than I thought it would be, and the water is calm. It was also clean. We brought our own trash bags, etc, as there aren’t any cans. Be patient and wait for a legal place to park. The cars parked along the road where it clearly says “No Parking” were all getting tickets. We will definitely be back. My dog got a bath and crashed!!!

More length of beach than I imagined when my fiance found this beach online looking for a dog friendly beach. On the way on there is a spit with dog toys to borrow, to get bags to clean up after your four legged friend, and of course lots of dogs! People were all very friendly. Dogs are allowed to be unleashed once on the beach. One caveat: the only place for humans to go to the bathroom are two portable toilets across the road at the fishing pier. However, our dog and her humans had a great time. Definitely would recommend for a get away with your canine pet.

An absolutely beautiful beach where you are happily greeted by your fellow dog lovers and their pooches. A great place to collect shells too as there were literally thousands upon thousands of them just laying about. And best of all is the view of the sunset over the bridge. The sunrise is also gorgeous. For those who do not know, it's actually named Malibu Beach but everybody local knows it as Dog Beach. Woof!

Great place to bring the dog for the day. Lots of dogs here we even brought a picnic blanket to have lunch. Relaxing day after the dogs took their swim they really got tired out

It's great for dogs my dog has a lot of fun there but I just concern about people fishing because a dog may get hurt by a hook.

Very nice, clean beaches...with all those 4-legged children to have fun!...I think you need bathrooms and if you want to find parking, you have to get up early!

I loved it, so did my dog. He is new to this therefore I had him in a leash. He played with another dog, who grabbed his toy. It was fun for the short time we were there. The only regret is that I don’t have any videos or pictures due to the fact that it was raining heavily.

Worst dog park ever ! People think they have their pit bulls and shepherds under control but they don’t (or maybe they just don’t care). My cool casual golden was threatened by these roaming monsters while trying to walk out, while on leash. Terrible ! Should be shut down !

It's a great beach for your dog. It was our first time there, and the first time, our puppy was at a beach. She is very small and got along great with the big dogs that were there. She had a blast running around and running up to the water. The best part is that your dog doesn't have to be a leash during the later time of year after summer.

Awesome place to take your pup. Meet lots of cool dogs (and their humans). Only real issue is that there is not much parking.

👍👍 Nothing can describe how happy this place makes me. Dogs playing and swimming. This is my happy place. When the flies come out, it is time to go. Parking can get tight on a nice day.
