Stop right here….this place is amazing! Forget the pizza, forget the pasta come to Yama! It’s all freshly made. The sushi was top notch. The udon noodles were outstanding. Maybe different options to choose from! Great service and clean inside! Come on by today and check it out.

Yama is the absolute best, we drive from Egg Harbor Township to pick it up. The food is always fresh, the order is always right. The Hot Lover roll is my favorite sushi roll ever, if they ever get rid of it I will be a mess haha. Dine in or togo you're in for a treat!

Went there for dinner. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Would have given 5 stars but the staff did not really understand English and we found ourselves constantly repeating our order. Additionally I found it very annoying that I was charged 75 cents for Siracha sauce. Weird! It's like being charged for mustard on your sandwich, no one does that.

Fabulous! There was a bit of a wait to place our orders and for our food to arrive however they did inform us of the delays ahead of time. Everything we ordered was delicious with lovely presentation. Very generous with fish portions for the sushi and sashimi. Well worth the minor wait. Would absolutely recommend.

I really liked this place. Good quality fish, visually appealing sushi, sashimi, and rolls, and very reasonably priced. We came for a late lunch (1:45) and the service was quick and efficient.

I got the Avocado rolls, and they were so good! The waitress was nice, and food came quickly. I thought the price was super fair, and probably the best on the island!

This sushi was fantastic! I think this is our new favorite sushi place. We had all sushi items. Our friends visited a few days before and they said Yama has the best friend rice they have ever had. I was happy with everything, the decor, the service, and definitely the food!! We will be back.

I thought the sushi is pretty good I had ordered it to be delivered to my job site and it wasn’t bad I got it off door Dash Uber eats one of those things . I forget which specialty roll I got but I did like it, I also got some fried rice. I’ve never ate there before but I’ll definitely order something from there again when I’m in the area .

This may have been the worst sushi ive ever had in my life. On top of being over priced for what you get, everything had a horrific taste. I ordered a bunch of sushi that tasted old, and toro tartare. If you know what toro is supposed to look like, it doesn’t resemble canned cat food. I highly recommend never stepping foot in this place.

WOW! WOW! Best sushi I've ever had. Came into town on a business trip. Had a craving for sushi, saw this restaurant so decided to try it. So glad I stopped in. The combination fried rice was excellent. The 3 sushi rolls I had were fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful food here. Everything I tried was amazing. I want to go back multiple times while here in Atlantic City.

This place is just ok. Everything was fine but Whole Foods sushi is on par or maybe slightly better. Edamame was not fresh, soup was just ok.

the best sushi I honestly ever had. its fresh, flavorful and their specialty rolls are perfection! my family lives in ventnor and we get yama every weekend. we order the sexy lisa roll, the godzilla roll, and their soups and fried rice never disappoint. The beef negamaki is out of this world. yama is such a great place all around! they are all so sweet and their food is a 10/10!

worst service I have ever experienced. This is legitimately that most disorganized restaurant I have ever been to. Do not waste your time or money here.

I’m not sure if we came when it just opened but I think they made the sushi rice with day old rice because the color and texture was different. Not very satisfied:( everything was fine just the rice.

The first time I went we got specialized sushi and that was amazing. That sushi had me seeing stars in the best way possible. The last time I went... I tried something different. The sushi for 2 combo and.. it was just.. okay. Disappointing. Ill go back to try them again.. what the first time a fluke? I'm not sure. I'll try them again and adjust my score.

For my birthday this year, all I truly wanted was a night in with some delicious sushi takeout (a treat) and a nice bottle of sparkling wine. My wife went to Yama after finding them online. The menu was AMAZING and price points were very fair. I am happy to report is was the BEST meal I have had in a long time. We cannot wait to go back. A must try if you are in the area!

Sushi is okay however never really consistent. What is consistent is the bad customer service. The employees act like they are doing you a favor.

i got the shrimp fried rice. almost 12 bucks but it was delicious. i dont know if that price is normal or not. fast service for take out
